Our region is having some troublesome weather, so I was checking in on the guys.
The island where I am right now, we are predicted to get about 80-105 mm rain today.
A bit further north, they are having snow.. some places as much as 70 cm.
All that combined with the wettest year EVER .. our soil cannot absorb any more rain.
So down south.. flooding, the ocean is high.. the rivers and creeks are all flooding..
Add on some gale with gusts reaching storm.
Well, we have at least 2 new trees that got uprooted, the ground just cannot hold the trees anymore.
Tomorrow.. There will be minus Celsius degrees in the whole country.
.... The weather is strange. And not particularly pleasant.
So, yeah.. I wanted to be sure that @ShyGuy68 and @Cogan were doing okay.
@ShyGuy68I'm back safe from work now. We haven't got that much snow (about 5 cm) but the wind makes it all very difficult! But a bit north (40 km) about 1000 cars are stuck in the snow. It is chaos up there and they had to call in the military to help evacuate the people from their cars. The temperature is also dropping now and is well below zero degrees (celsius). Add strong wind makes it not warmer at all!
Have you seen on the news about the poor people traveling on the ferry from Oslo and got stuck circling around Hven? They can't go into the harbor becaus of the strong wind. They have been out there since 10 am and will not arrive to Copenhagen until 7 am tomorrow. Even the beautiful view of Hven can be a bit boring then I think....

We have lots of firewood, I heard a tree fall over not long ago.. That is the third today.
I guess tomorrow will show just how much damage we took this time.
It was still raining heavy when I went to bed, but looking at DMI.. It looks like we are going to get between -15° at night to about - 4° in the daytime, the temperature is already dropping now.
... With all this water?! Yeah... We will manage!!

Today it's much better. The wind is slowly calming down but we too have -4°C. So icy roads since it was +2°C when it snowed.So, an update from the south east Denmark.

So today it was almost back to normal here in the northern part of Denmark. It was a bit cold (-7C) and there's still snow out there. I were at work all day, walking around the city, and luckily it wasn't to slippery most of the places, but I did take care not to slip an fall.
During my day I snapped these 3 pictures to share with you.
That the roads will be pleasant, when I am driving back home to the city tomorrow.

Down here, well.. we did get a lot of rain, when you guys got the snow.
Now everyone and everywhere are well below freezing, which creates some troublesome issues on the roads.
They are simply better fit for ice-skating than driving cars on.
We are having the same temperaturesI think.. Today has been around -7° so, on the chilly side.
It does create some exceptionnelle stunning views!!
But when everything is this slippery
Then you really need to be careful when venturing outside.
Next week, you may wish you never said this.

Does create some.. challenging tasks.
