🎉🍧🎀 Ladies of Lit 24/7 Slumber Party🎀🍧🎉

As an aside: not only are Starburst jellybeans my second favorite, Starbust lollipops are amazing.

Last month I had an in-person sleepover with two of my friends. It had been years since I'd had an honest-to-goodness planned sleepover. We went for massages and ordered dinner in, played games and hot tubbed in the rain. It was so much fun!! I think we all need downtime to relax with our friends.

Does anyone have a go-to food or drink that you love to serve when you’ve got company?
Tri-tip. It cooks fast and doesn’t need babysitting while it roasts so I can socialize with the guests.

If I’m asked to bring something: cold poached salmon with dill. It travels well and always vanishes quickly.

I have a cooking question!

What’s your best old family recipe? That amazing recipe that’s written on a stained index card you keep tucked in the back of your gran’s old Joy of Cooking … .

Swedish pancakes 🇸🇪
It is a recipe I found in my mom's stuff, supposedly from family way back

I have nothing to do with my family, but... I remember homemade scotch pancakes from when I was little. I make them occasionally.

No, but I'm quite adventurous with my cooking and baking. If I'm going for coffee at a friend's, I might bake biscuits or a brownie to take for dinner.
