🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

Yeah I've been pretty scattered for months now with diet. Now that I know my pants don't fit, it's time to rein it in.
Meal prep Sundays are your best friend. Advice here is make the protein “neutral” (not heavily seasoned, marinated, sauced), that way it’ll be way more versatile later in the week when you’re sick of eating the same thing for 4 days straight

Great idea, thank you! I've gotten some good meal prep ideas. Meal prep Sunday will become a regular thing here.

You can do it, @sallysparrow23 - healthy snacks and lots of non-food treats and indulgence!
I’m trying to think healthy, diet gets tougher as the weather gets colder. Had some kinda bread three times in the past fortnight, need to stop that 😂
But no real spice for protein @Guido414 ?! That’s a crazy idea, need the sauces and spices!!

I love baking bread too. Do you know how difficult it is to make fresh baked bread and not eat it?? 🤣

Oh noooo!! The smell… how can you do that?! 😂😂😂

A love watching people enjoy food, but it's hard to resist lol. 🤣

Meal prepping has made hitting caloric and protein intake much easier. It is actually nice to eat healthy and tasty meals for lunch. For dinner it is usually smoked salmon or grilled steaks/lean burgers.

I'm heading to the mountains this December for some skiing and sadly my snow pants don't fit lol. 🙈 I'm making it a goal to lose enough weight before mid December so I don't have to buy new ones again. I've got a pretty solid workout regimen, now it's time to clean up my nutrition. I've been stress eating lately.
My sister and I had an almost identical moment over NYE the first year of Covid. We decided driving up to an isolated place on a ski in/out mountain was the best way to safely get out of the house.

The lay on the couch, suck it in, and wiggle while trying to zip move was probably the biggest reason 2021 became the year of getting back in shape for us 😂🤦‍♀️

We both liked IF and found it much easier to work with than just calorie or carb restrictions. By the next ski trip they fit great! But…we weren’t making bread then 😂

Lol I am all too familiar with the lay down, suck it in and wiggle technique 🤣 I was really strict with IF before and I think that's what I'm going to stick with again. For now I might have to pause my bread baking so I'm not tempted. 🥹

We called it “the worm” the whole trip. I’m also pretty sure we made hot chocolate from scratch that night to celebrate the hilarity of the couch worm incident. Like the last sugar hurrah before starting our healthier selves resolutions :D

I like to ease in by getting used to IF again and then restricting types of food if needed. That preference is not so compatible with looming dates with ski pants though 😂

Just an easy 3.5 mile run in the lite rain yesterday. Felt good to get back out there after taking a week off after my half. Now it’s time to figure out my winter training routine. I need a written routine, otherwise I will fail.
You just need some motivation ;) "Easy" and "3.5 mile run" are words I've never said together, way to go!

I have derby tonight. Lots of hydration throughout the day is on my agenda today until then. I anticipate a hard practice as we prep for our second skills assessments.

We got to practice with the veteran skaters last night. Hitting, blocking, falls, skating in packs... it was full contact, and they are much stronger. 🤣 I'm feeling a lot more confident in my speed and I'm getting there with certain techniques. I took a day of rest today and then it's back on my skates tomorrow night. 🛼🛼

Those weather conditions look INTENSE! Glad to hear you're excelling despite that!!

Thank you.
But.. really.. it is not that bad weather for us, obviously not strolling around and relaxing weather.

It was a really lovely run, felt surprisingly strong and confident throughout and afterwards. 🍵🥰

Now tea time!
