🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

I don't know that I'll actually get to 100 lol. I was talking with a friend yesterday who is doing it. They do it for a whole year but I am think I'm going to take it monthly and see what happens. I'll definitely be doing them throughout the day.
Good luck!

We started a weight loss challenge at work. I’ve been getting after it pretty hard this past week, aaaaaaand of course my knee is now bothering me. Fuck!

I'm starting with just a month challenge, that seems more practical to me after getting set up yesterday. You break them into sets, I would not make it if I did them all at once. @Tedfkats was kind enough to share a 100 pushups challenge app with me yesterday which was a great help. I'm going to work up to 100. Yesterday I did 12.
Awesome. Push ups are great. Big part of me losing 20lbs. Really my favorite exercise and there are a lot of variations with arm positions. I am also a big fan of Mike Tyson pushups which are pretty difficult and spiderman pushups.

Very impressive start!

Need to start getting back to fighting weight. I hate gyms, spent waaaaay too much time in those places in my sporting life. Have done yoga back when they used to show pretty girls out in the meadow in Aspen on the TV but those are long gone. I always felt silly doing it, but I always felt great afterwards!

Any hints on good sites on the UTube or something similar? Maybe an app? I spend half my life in hotels so I really need something virtual and not signing up for a class, as much as I’d like to do that.

I use iFIT, it has a huge variety of programs that you can do from your phone.

Just finished a 30 min AMRAP style workout.

200 meter row, 10 push-ups, 10 squats, 10 sit-ups. 200 meter row, 9 push-ups, 10 squats, 10 sit-ups. Work down to 200 meter row, 1 push-up, 1 squat, 1 sit-up, and then start back with the 200, 10, 10, 10.

I made it through 10-1 and then back to 10-6 + 200m row.

Totals:
3200 meters
95 push-ups
95 squats
95 sit-ups

Sounds like a great workout! I'm looking forward to getting sweaty this evening. I love seeing these posts for motivation! Great job!
Thanks! I’m glad I could help motivate you. Enjoy your workout later on, looking forward to hearing about it.

I need to find more motivation to lose weight. Oh well, I'll find it one day, hopefully soon
I struggle with losing weight myself. Make little changes. I’ve been working on cutting back on soda and the frequency I eat fast food. Start with just getting outside for a walk. It’s almost like once you start you want to keep pushing yourself.

Yeah, that's what I have been trying to do

Last night was bike and then a full body weight routine.

I'm trying to balance out cardio with strength straining. I'll always lean more to cardio since I'm a cyclist at heart.

Its 90% nutrition. If you consistently are drinking soda and eating fast food you are fighting a losing battle. And yes walking is absolutely one of best things you can do.

Yesterday I did 30 push-ups. Today it's 45!! 😬 quite the jump, but I think I can manage. Then I'm taking a rest day. Otherwise, tonight I'm doing cardio and some stretch.
That is awesome. Pushups are fantastic. I am back to the body weight I feel like I should be at. And after Christmas and New Years and some travel going to get after getting really fit and muscular again.

Motivation has been down the last couple of days. Yesterday my workout consisted of a 3 mile walk around the neighborhood. This morning it was a 2 mile walk. I decided to get back in the groove and just finished the following:

2000m row, 25 push-ups, 25 squats, 25 sit-ups
1500m row, 25 push-ups, 25 squats, 25 sit-ups
1000m row, 25 push-ups, 25 squats, 25 sit-ups
500m row, 25 push-ups, 25 squats, 25 sit-ups

33:31

Just got to dig in and keep pushing, it’ll pay off in the long run.

I didn't do much of a workout yesterday because I was feeling really under the weather and just slept most of the day. I felt better today and took it easy today by taking a walk as a test. Hopefully, I can resume tomorrow
