Any guesses as to who the VIP is? 🤔

Ha helicopter would suggest it being @Lmizzler 😂

That's a Lit legend now
Congrats Rosie. You and @Cat (who sent me a PM) both figured it out!
Danged 🚁

This workout is a super tough one. My son and I created it to help keep him in shape some after pee wee football ended. The bear crawls and the burpees are my absolute most hated parts!

I like the idea of the beer crawls or the bear paw pastries much better!

If ever there was a time to hide something behind an emoji...

Your workout looks intense! I'm a long long way from being able to do anything like that. Totally impressed

Don’t be impressed. I whine like a baby while doing it.
Just find one or two parts of it to try and challenge yourself with. And don’t do as many repetitions.

And I considered showing the gif but couldn’t bring myself to do it again. 😂 🫣

I think August's challenge for Mizzler should be posting it again if he ever misses a workout. 😇

Thank you, @Lmizzler for providing us such a challenging workout! It was fun having something new a try.

Looking for interested Litsters who’d like to be our Mystery VIP in the following weeks. I may have one more interested person, but there’s room for more! Just message me and let me know!

Good Morning and Happy Saturday!
Today we are going to slow down, take a breather. In addition to exercise, what you eat is a huge part of fitness, so today we are going to share a healthy recipe or meal idea.

Share a link or post your recipe here. Sometimes it’s easy to get into a rut with diet too, so let’s share some ideas here.

Also, we are on the verge of a new week of activities and challenges. If you have any feedback or suggestions of what you’d like to see, I’m open to new ideas.

I cook a lot. I enjoy it. It takes my mind off of work and helps me to focus and be in the moment.

Also…food. It’s good. 😋

One of my favorite recipes is for chicken chili. It’s not hard to make. My kids like it. You can tailor it for picky eaters, too.

It is been pretty hot some mornings so Ive been making overnight oats to have a healthier breakfast than cereal.

The basic recipe I use is equal parts traditional rolled oats and milk with half that amount of greek yogurt. I typically add a few tablespoons of chica seeds, and will reduce the milk a bit if I dont have chica seeds.

Mix the milk and yogurt, and chia seeds together first. Then the oats. Then add wherever fruit toppings you have or want. And/ or peanut butter, nutella etc.

Thank you for sharing your recipe. I haven’t tried overnight oats yet. I bought some but they’ve migrated to the back of the pantry. I will give them a shot.

I’ve been making smoothies with frozen berries, Greek vanilla yogurt, almond milk, and spinach. Maybe I’ll try to throw some chia seeds in there too.

I'm looking at all the recipes in my repertoire, and they're all basically fatty, carby, salty calorie bombs. Great for lobstermen and lumberjacks coming in from a long day of work in the cold of winter (which I am not). Less great for anyone trying to eat "healthy."

I missed your picture, BCC. But I know how lovely you are 🌸

Was this for the Picture Perfect challenge?

From my first walk today.
I did my walk first thing this morning so I would not be held back.
The second walk was with my wife and son. She is starting to try to get active again and had a difficult time.
I was as supportive as possible and didn't realize that I am more active than I thought.
She's going to try lower impact walks closer to home.
