I'm running a holiday themed race today with a friend.
Christmas leggings
Santa hat
The weather looks decent and I'm looking forward to it!
Well done dear. The weather is.. rather typical early winter:
3°C and a drizzling rain.
Nothing like a sweet 7km to break the day in!
(48,1 minutes -30 seconds faster than last time!!)

That sounds ridiculously funny!!![]()
This sounds absolutely magical.Well done dear.
i walked 14 kilometres through a picturesque snow-filled landscape in the Black Forest last weekend. Mulled wine and grilled cheese awaited me.
Hope you are well.
Rain is the best weather to run in, I reckon! Congrats on the time improvement CatThe weather is.. rather typical early winter:

I'm excited to hear how Mountain Biking with the dog goes. I've always wanted to try that with mine, but she's a bit too independent to be left off leash and stay with me.Leash training a puppy means a lot of hiking/walking. Yesterday a little 3 miler, today a 2.5 with lots of hills and distractions for her.
Soon I’ll have to break out the mountain bike and do 7 or 8 miles with her.
Listen, crocs have a purposeI only wear closed in shoes on leg day, if I’m running or at work.
Otherwise it’s ultimate comfort all the way.
You can all thank me later after you’re enlightened![]()
I’ll let you know. They like the speed. Even if it’s still a slower pace for now.I'm excited to hear how Mountain Biking with the dog goes. I've always wanted to try that with mine, but she's a bit too independent to be left off leash and stay with me.
Keep on crushing it mate, one step (or should I say pedal rotation) at a time!Seeing the results of a few weeks Physical Therapy paying off. Slowly increasing my ride distances and having the added bonus of all the glute work increasing my peddling efficiency.
Better than nothing. Good for you!Back at it today. Got a 40 minute stationary bike ride in.
10.5 miles, 550 calories. Been a rough day work wise. That’s all I could get in.
So, work sucks. Everyone is preparing for the holiday break. Plus I’ve been a little under the weather.
somehow, I got a 40 minute bike ride in yesterday and this morning already.
i’ll take it. I just keep racking up 10.5 mile rides, burning 540 calories. At least that’s what the Fitbit tells me. Actually more but I don’t buy it so I track at a lower pace when I count my calories and macros.
It is heaven on earth dear Sally! It will be a fun time! I'll snap some pics to share when it's over.

Yes it is. As sick as I've been, I'm happy I hit the bike the last three days.It is the season.. still, you managed to get on the bike!!That is really awesome.
Do not be so hard on yourself, it sucks right now, and that is okay!
Every day cannot (sadly) be flowers and butterflies.
I do hope that you will feel better soon though.
Me?.. this' the season to be busy!
So today is full of chores, feeling a bit swamped with those.. then it is in.. Ugh!! In 30 minutes, I need to be at the kids school: it is Saint Lucy's Day.
So lots of Jule activities and choir concerts.
HoooooopefullyI get to go for a run in the early evening!!

It’ll pass mate! At least you’re not being sedentary while you’re feeling low. Credit to ya…movement is life!I've been fighting a cold for over 2 weeks. I'm managing to keep up with walking for cardio, but that's pretty much it. It's a downer that I can't keep up with resistance training and mobility/flexibility. I tell myself the cold can't last forever, right? I enjoy this thread. It's great to see what others are doing to stay fit.![]()
