🧘🏼‍♂️🤾🏻‍♀️Getting Sweaty Again: The 3rd Circuit 🚴🏼‍♂️🏋🏼‍♀️

Sunday morning ‘pull day’ at church today.

Pull ups and a sun salutation, to stretch and warmup
Various rowing reps, standing, seated and bent over, using free weights, cable machines and machine rows.
Bicep curls using dumbbells, barbells and cable pulleys
Lateral pull downs and rows on cable machines and mechanical squat rack loaded with plates to pull up, using an engaged core and good technique…

2km run home to finish.
Oceans kiss in the rain after this cup of tea.

Tell yourself positive stories and shine everyone!

The weather is.. rather typical early winter:
3°C and a drizzling rain.🌧️

Nothing like a sweet 7km to break the day in!
(48,1 minutes -30 seconds faster than last time!!)

Well done dear.

i walked 14 kilometres through a picturesque snow-filled landscape in the Black Forest last weekend. Mulled wine and grilled cheese awaited me. 😂😂🥰🥰

Hope you are well.

Rain is the best weather to run in, I reckon! Congrats on the time improvement Cat 🙌🏼

Push day today. Stretching and push-ups warm up.
Incline dumbbell chest press
Flat bench barbell chest press
Decline barbell chest press
Incline dumbbell pec flys
Dumbbell overhead shoulder press
Dips/triceps superset
Cable flys

always lift heavy on push days. If I can do four sets of 10 before failure i need to go heavier.

Lean toward the light everyone ✨

I only wear closed in shoes on leg day, if I’m running or at work.
Otherwise it’s ultimate comfort all the way.
You can all thank me later after you’re enlightened 🙌🏼

Leash training a puppy means a lot of hiking/walking. Yesterday a little 3 miler, today a 2.5 with lots of hills and distractions for her.
Soon I’ll have to break out the mountain bike and do 7 or 8 miles with her.
I'm excited to hear how Mountain Biking with the dog goes. I've always wanted to try that with mine, but she's a bit too independent to be left off leash and stay with me.

Seeing the results of a few weeks Physical Therapy paying off. Slowly increasing my ride distances and having the added bonus of all the glute work increasing my peddling efficiency.

Keep on crushing it mate, one step (or should I say pedal rotation) at a time!

A 5am, 5k walk around the harbour and a swim at north beach to start my Tuesday.

The water was pristine this morning, no swell and crystal clear. Absorbing the magnesium in serenity, as the sun rose over the South Pacific.

Leg day in the gym today, I’ll walk down in the next hour or two. Enjoying a cuppa with some honey on sourdough first.
I’m loving this no work life while it lasts. Being able to invest in my health, on my own timetable is absolute bliss.

Sending smiles and positive affirmations to everyone 🙌🏼

So, work sucks. Everyone is preparing for the holiday break. Plus I’ve been a little under the weather.

somehow, I got a 40 minute bike ride in yesterday and this morning already.

i’ll take it. I just keep racking up 10.5 mile rides, burning 540 calories. At least that’s what the Fitbit tells me. Actually more but I don’t buy it so I track at a lower pace when I count my calories and macros.

It is the season.. still, you managed to get on the bike!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻 That is really awesome.

Do not be so hard on yourself, it sucks right now, and that is okay!
Every day cannot (sadly) be flowers and butterflies.

I do hope that you will feel better soon though. ❤️‍🩹❤️

Me? 😅.. this' the season to be busy!
So today is full of chores, feeling a bit swamped with those.. then it is in.. Ugh!! In 30 minutes, I need to be at the kids school: it is Saint Lucy's Day.
So lots of Jule activities and choir concerts.

Hoooooopefully 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻I get to go for a run in the early evening!! 🤞🏻

Yes it is. As sick as I've been, I'm happy I hit the bike the last three days.
I actually have to take one of my quarterly trips into the office tomorrow. So, with three days of biking, tomorrow will be a rest day. If I can get home before 9P, I may just hit the bike for a short 30 minutes so I can say I did.

Tis the season. But hey, I survived Thanksgiving and some family functions and am still losing weight. I can tell you I went from being tight on the 1st loop of my belt needing a new one in September, to using the same belt and now actually on good days getting to the 3rd loop. 20 lbs in basically 2.5 months.

My choices for eating are better, I'm fuller, and the cardio has been doing wonders for me along with the lifting. Having the exercise bike in my bedroom is a huge advantage when I cant get to the gym. I miss it though.

Got some fresh Tatts, so I’m steering clear of intense resistance training, cardio, sauna and unfortunately the ocean for a few days.
Got up at 4:30 and did a 10k walk around the ocean this morning.
The sun rose like a jewel over the South Pacific!

Lean toward the light today everyone!

I've been fighting a cold for over 2 weeks. I'm managing to keep up with walking for cardio, but that's pretty much it. It's a downer that I can't keep up with resistance training and mobility/flexibility. I tell myself the cold can't last forever, right? I enjoy this thread. It's great to see what others are doing to stay fit. ❤️

It’ll pass mate! At least you’re not being sedentary while you’re feeling low. Credit to ya…movement is life!
We don’t stop moving cos we get old, we get old cos we stop moving!

Resonating with ya, this thread is great! We should always uplift others, to invest in their health…

Resistance band stretching and a sun salutation on the veranda this morn.
Followed by 100 push ups and some moderate free weight training with the dumbbells at home.

Smile big and try to share a laugh with another human today!
