I was so bad this weekend. Family gatherings really put a damper on my progress. I ate and drank beer with no workouts since Thursday morning. My will power sucks. I really need to and should have made better decisions.2.5 miles on the treadmill this evening. Running inside is so boring, but I got it in.
By the way, are you doing the belly dancing for workouts or some bedroom fun? LOLNow that the weather is turning I'm not working out outside anymore and I'm getting back into my belly dancing lessons. I found a site a few days ago that has free classes and I'm excited to start tomorrow!
Here's the link if anyone is interested.
I do it for the workouts but I'm sure it crosses over well if you don't look like one of those inflatable tube things that wave around because that's about my level of skill.By the way, are you doing the belly dancing for workouts or some bedroom fun? LOL
I had a coworker who talked about that all the time.

You are amazing!Hiya!
Dancing is so much fun @sallysparrow23 I might have to look at that link some more!!
And @HoneyMeadows when the trousers feels big.. That is the best!!!
I have been upping the ante when it comes to weightlifting, and have actually gotten a trainer! (Because.. I really want to learn how to do it right!)
Also, as a very much welcome added side effect: my running is getting better!!! Less pain in my Achilles tendon and overall, I am starting to feel stronger!
Yesterday in gym, I did some mixed strength:
Deadlifts with 45 kg.
Some bodyweight rows
Hip thrusts with resistance band and barbell (- they are amazing for lower back pain!!)
And today.. (yup!! I am pretty happy right now!)
I ran 7 km in 48 minutes, without my tendon squeaking too much!!!
It is a good start of the weekend!!
You are amazing!
I'm just sharing for my own accountability but if that inspires someone to do something for for themselves, then everyone wins.
Not really!! Just very stubborn, and extremely happy when working out.
On the other hand.. I find you to be rather inspirational!
That's quite a workout, you are indeed amazing! I need to start going to a gym myself, mainly for my upper body, since on a good day like yesterday I walked 20 km/34851 steps at work.Hiya!

That's awesome. I'm glad that works for you.I do it for the workouts but I'm sure it crosses over well if you don't look like one of those inflatable tube things that wave around because that's about my level of skill.
I prefer dancing as my workout. I did ballet for a while, switched to some gentle yoga, and that's lead to trying belly dancing. It is very challenging but I love it because it's fun!
This is amazing. Keep it up and good luck. I miss a trainer.I have been upping the ante when it comes to weightlifting, and have actually gotten a trainer! (Because.. I really want to learn how to do it right!)
