It works now. I'm enjoying it as I savor a fresh cup of coffee.
And here I am showing a lame, sweaty pic.
Doesn’t even compare.

Um, it's still pretty early here.- Savouring the coffee, after your workout, right?

I'll get a few miles in pretty soon. Not as good about stretching as I should be though. I should probably watch you again to see how you do it.Excuses, excuses..

You workout in the morning people! I can't function without a cup of coffee and at least an hour to wake up.…and I guess I’d better get off my ass and get my workout in this morning. Thanks for the reminder.
I do not, but I probably should. I'm always wondering about my form when I do squats and lunges.Do you use pictures of yourself to help with your workout goals?
Absolutely gorgeous, Cat!!
Oh, there’s a 0% chance of me working out before coffee. You workout in the morning people! I can't function without a cup of coffee and at least an hour to wake up.
Does everyone not like stretching? I am a stretch fanatic.
This!^ Honestly, I feel like stretching is more important to my body than anything else I do. Plus, limber just feels good. But!! When all that is said, I actually love stretching. It just needs to be done consistently.

Well, there's no heel strike with minimalist running, so stretching is a little different I suppose. More calf stretching, and I stretch my feet. Which, sounds weird?
Mostly that means bending my toes each way with my weight so it stretches all those recently active foot muscles and my arch.
I stretch immediately after a run. Minimum fifteen minutes, but usually twice that. Keeps me from being tight.
Has anyone done Insanity through Beachbody?
It’s been years but I did both of these back in the day and enjoyed them. I’m sure I have DVDs floating around somewhereDid any of you ever do the Billy Blanks boxercise videos?
I usually pick my favorite thing if I need to start something again that I’ve been procrastinating. For me for weights that’s arms or shoulders and circuit training. There’s something about just going from exercise to exercise quickly and efficiently that motivates me.I need to do more weight training too. It’s easier for me to get a nice walk in, but taking the time to do strength training is something I struggle with and also something I really need to do.
I’ve done 3D body scans with very precise read outs of everything. I did find it motivating as well as reassuring to see internally what changes I was also seeing externally.@Biggalute mentioned using pictures/selfies as motivation for working out. Whether it’s so you can track progress, mark a starting point, or to take notice of how far you’ve come and how much progress you’ve made, does this help you?
I almost pulled the trigger on a Dexa scan recently. Maybe I should revisit thatI’ve done 3D body scans with very precise read outs of everything. I did find it motivating as well as reassuring to see internally what changes I was also seeing externally.
1. I politely cuss myself out for doing this before every run@FunLi how’s the first week of running going? What’s working and what isn’t?
It is the most important thing you can do before and after a workout and yet it is so often ignored.Does everyone not like stretching? I am a stretch fanatic.

Questionable… I think the most recent science is that stretching doesn’t seem to have any real impact unless you’re in a high ROM sport, and in the case of static stretching, might increase the chance for injury.

Hmmm. This sounds interesting.I almost pulled the trigger on a Dexa scan recently. Maybe I should revisit that
The link is not working for me.I found the cardio video of Insanity on the deep dark web this afternoon and decided to give it a whirl. I can see why they call it Insanity. Holy sweat!
Vitamin DWhat supplements do y’all take? Do you think they make a difference?
I did this once when I got kind of beefy, but I deleted the pics because I really didn’t want to ever see them again!Do you use pictures of yourself to help with your workout goals?
