Says the guy who "sang for Europe" on live TV. I must've watched that, I was heavily into Eurovision during my teens. What was the song called?

In real life I write signal processing software for music technology, and I'm known in the music recording industry for developing a popular music sequencer program, in the late 1980's.
As a bona fide geek in this particular area, I have to admit that I find that pretty cool. I've probably used it.

    2. Sabledrake's Profile
    3. Novels & Novellas, Incest, Erotic Horror.
    4. Ooh, tough question ... with so many, it's hard to pick one. But I'll suggest Hairy Men.
    5. Yes ... several books and short stories in print. Still trying to make that big break.
    6. No one else on here.
    7. KillerMuffin once called my writing "seriously vicious toward women." Glee! ;)

Oh dear, and to think I have publicly voiced my liking of your stories.

  :D

OK - here goes -

A brief introduction, please.
Hello - Sarah here. 30-something, happily married, 2 young kids, husband knows and lustfully supports my writing habit.

What's the link to your member submissions page?
It's in my sig line.

For which category do you most often write?
BDSM, Anal

Which ONE of your stories or poems would you choose to give to a newbie as the best indicator of your skills/style?
Hmmm. Probably this one - playful yet informative? Anal Sex How-to

Are you published elsewhere? (If not, do you wanna be?)
A print magazine wants two stories and poems - we're in the middle of the process. And yes, though I have a "real" career, I'd love to seriously write.

Who ELSE are you (i.e., alternate IDs)?
Just me - no alternates.

Anything else you simply must add?
The ladies of Lit are delightful; I'm always impressed by their intelligence and beauty. And the men in the AH leave me with a secret smile that my husband works very hard to discover the true meaning behind. ;)

I'm here to watch the alternate ids revealed and take notes. I get so confused.

By our typos, spelling, punctuation, capitalization and grammatical errors are our identities revealed. Edit, edit, edit.

Bump & Grind (Because I have always wanted to gratuitously bump and grind a whole "room" full of people. )

[*]A brief introduction, please.

Hello all. I'm MLyons, or Mike Lyons, but that's not my real name. I fear that for me to write anything that resembles a decent story, I have to absolutely pour my soul into it. This is compounded by the fact that in my stories, I try to incorporate very original, and in some cases, exceedingly wild sexual escapades into as literate and thematic a backdrop as I can.

I only have two stories posted so far (one of which is in five parts) largely because meeting the challenges that I give myself takes a great amount of time and effort for me. I know that others probably have a much easier time, creating much better stories. (Carson, Shanglan, CharleyH, Lauren Hynde, etc.) I try not to get caught up in comparisons and competition with other authors, but alas, sometimes I can't help giving too much credence to "ratings". ::sigh:: My worst fault in life is that I care too much about what other people think. Unfortunately life on the internet only seems to exacerbate this problem. I'm like a recovering alcoholic in that respect, never really cured but constantly working to overcome it.

That really wasn't very brief, was it?

[*]What's the link to your member submissions page?

See my signature line.

[*]For which category do you most often write?

I don't know. My first story was reluctance/non-consent. My second story was First Time. My third story is in progress, and will go into the BDSM category. Common themes in my writing include arousal through awkwardness (and in the case of my non-consent and BDSM story, arousal through humiliation, and riding the edge between consent and non-consent--a delicate balance that I very much enjoy finding).

[*]Which ONE of your stories or poems would you choose to give to a newbie as the best indicator of your skills/style?

Goodbye, La La Land -- My First Time story. It's far from perfect, but I can honestly say that I did the best I could.

[*]Are you published elsewhere? (If not, do you wanna be?)

No. (Maybe one day, but I understand what it takes, and I'm not sure I'm really prepared to make writing a "job").

[*]Who ELSE are you (i.e., alternate IDs)?

I have no alternate IDs on Literotica. I do post stories under a different ID on ASSTR and another story site, but I keep it secret. The stories on those sites aren't as carefully developed as those on Lit, and play more into my singular, uninhibited love for darker arousal through humiliation themes.

[*]Anything else you simply must add?

Not really... unless you REALLY want to know more about me--in which case you can go here: MLyons Den. I haven't updated the site in over a year, however.

Thanks for the bump, Yui.

A brief introduction, please.

I'm eric shawn listo. All you need know is revealed by my name. (ask EL or LouLou for clarification) I sometimes give nicknames. (Hi Lolo) I actually enjoy being here and that's a little scary.

What's the link to your member submissions page?

It's in my sig. Heck, it is my sig! (thanks, Belegon)

For which category do you most often write?

Novels and novellas until I realized not many read there. (afraid of commitment, I guess) Mature, probably. Though most might tell me to go to anal.

Which ONE of your stories or poems would you choose to give to a newbie as the best indicator of your skills/style?

Exchanging Flesh, CH. 06 gives what I try to do. Humor interwoven with hot sex. Fun scenario. Though EL says it's kinda pervy.

Are you published elsewhere? (If not, do you wanna be?)

Nope. Yep.

Who ELSE are you (i.e., alternate IDs)?

No one. It's too hard just being me.

Anything else you simply must add?

Well...if you wanted...to...you could....read my stories.

:D

Okay, so it's taken me long enough to do this, but here are my answers:

  1. A brief introduction, please. Oh boy, I'm already stumped and it's just the first question. :p I've been writing erotica for a bit. I read alot... don't post as much.
  2. What's the link to your member submissions page? It's a secret! Shhh!! Seriously, I write under an alt that has not been made publically known, but if you really want to know, pm me. If I "know" you well enough, I will tell you which alt I write under.
  3. For which category do you most often write? There really isn't one in particular.
  4. Are you published elsewhere? (If not, do you wanna be?) no and yes
  5. Who ELSE are you (i.e., alternate IDs)? If you want to know what alt I write under now, shoot me a pm. Like I said up there, if I "know" you well enough, I'll tell you.
  6. Anything else you simply must add? nope

Swede, closing in on the big Three Zero, working my ever-growing butt off as Customer Service Worker in a Swedish telephone company. Loves to doodle with computers and pencils, crazy about manga and Harry Potter.

See sigline.

Gay Male, Humour & Satire, and Interracial Love.

"All Man Rickman".

I'm working up the nerve to post my NaNo-novel, "Wild Dancer" to a publishing company.

None, so far.

[HINT]I'll be adding a link to my homepage once I get it complete. Keep your eyes open... [/HINT]

[*]I am maggot. I'm all for brevity.

[*]Link is in my sig.

[*]Mind control...but I'm not very prolific.

[*]I would never do that to a newbie.

[*]No (and I have no aspirations) ...well once I was published but it was a very disreputable publication.

[*]I'm just maggot420.

[*]Not really.

[*]A brief introduction.

[*]Which ONE of your stories or poems would you choose to give to a newbie as the best indicator of your skills/style?

No alts on Lit.

1. Brief introduction? I've always enjoyed reading erotic stories, always fascinated at how one visual from something I may have read years ago still sticks in my mind. Thought it might be fun to try and write my own ideas. It is more fun - and also far more challenging - than I really expected.
2. The link should be somewhere down below these words.
3. I did not have any specific category in mind when starting out, but since I'm beginning to wonder if I'm maybe not cut out for erotica, I've been gravitating towards the Humor department - less scrutiny and I feel more comfortable there, at least for now, maybe for the duration. Right now I'm thinking of reorganizing, rewriting, and adding what few pieces I have posted and putting it all under Novel/Novella; maybe allow more leeway or something.
4. I would not now subject any newbie to anything I have posted here yet unless they were confirmed masochists. But if I had to choose one, I would say Symbol Store. That's more recent and it's more me than the earlier submissions.
5. I once self-published my own rambling thing - nothing erotic. Most of it I find embarrassing now.
6. I have enough trouble keeping track of this identity.
7. This has been one of the best experiences of my life and I wish to thank those who have lended their honest critiques and suggestions, and when they pointed out the flaws in my work they did it in a very painless way. I hope someday the results of what I'm trying to learn will begin to appear in future efforts.
