Are You High Maintenance

I have been accused of said offense once or twice before.

However, I don't think that I am high maintenance as I maintain myself for the most part. So, I don't want to necessarily rough it in the outdoors for an entire summer, I enjoy wearing stilettos, pretty dresses, having my makeup done, and owning the finer things in life.

Hmmm, maybe I had better shut up LOL :D

I am not in the least. I can shower, dress, and be out of the house in less than 30 minutes. I hate spending time straightening my hair, so most often it ends up in a ponytail. I haven't worn heels in more than a year. I really never have opportunities or reasons to dress up, so I don't. My most expensive piece of jewelry is my MedicAlery bracelet. On most days, I wear nothing more than sunscreen and lip balm make-up wise. If I'm working, I'll be wearing capris, a tee, and flip flops. If I'm going to school, occasionally I'll throw in a skirt instead of capris, but always a casual skirt *shrugs* I know it's sad, but I just don't see the point.

Still, I ache for an occasion to wear my sexy heels, or the new formal red dress in my closet. Or the sexy denim pencil skirt I bought in May and haven't worn yet. But no, it's not to be. I'm just not that lucky *sigh*

And emotionally, I'm not very high maintenance. Well, to others, I suppose. I'm pretty high maintenance when it comes to taking care of myself emotionally, but I keep that to myself- don't like to worry people with my problems

I would have been shocked had you said anything else.

Kendra is a woman who requires next-to-no maintenance, such is the term, at all. It is an utter delight to be with her, always.

*laughs* So I scream "unkempt" do I? :D

She is a lucky, lucky lady :)

Unkempt? Not in the slightest. Self-reliant, capable, fun? Indubitably.

Thank you, but in actuality I am the fortunate one.
Self-reliance is getting a bit shaky these days, but I work very hard to hide that ;)

I kinda meant she's lucky she's so beautiful that she doesn't require the maintenance... but that too! :D

Make-up take it or leave it doesn't matter to me either way. Love to dress it up and love to dress it down.

When it comes to sex I am about as High maintenance as it comes... :)

Kendra would object strenuously to that description of her, but I agree with you since I know you're right.

I heard a joke yesterday that sorta fits in this thread. Since I'm not good with jokes, I'll post it now so as to not forget it:

Yep, I married Miss Right, the guy said.

O' yeah? his buddy responded.

Yeah, only thing is I didn't realize her first name was Always.

I've been accused of being high maintenance, however like Bella-I also keep myself (for the most part). I do have expensive taste, but can just as easily buy something inexpensive-if I like it. I've worked hard for everything I have, so I feel as though I'm rewarding myself by buying what I want...and never beyond my means. I don't require much attention-which is a change from how I've been in the past (blame my parents).

I definitely wouldn't say that I need to be made up to go out, just the opposite..usually I roll out of bed, throw myself in the shower, slip on something comfortable-and go...but will spend $180 to get my hair done. I love pedicures-but again...those are things I do for myself.

I have a nice car and house-but they are far from ostentatious. Now the engagement ring I'd picked out...

mortgage down payment.

hmmmmmm i would say the right maintenance ...........all within MY means

i am happy in sweats .. and a bbq .. and i feel at home in a tux in a B & W formal ....

its all relative

some things i dont settle for and others i could care less

No. I maintain the physical me to a high standard, but thats all down to me and for me, Emotionally, nope. I am pretty comfy with myself, not particularly needy and able to figure out most of what is good for me all by myself.

Yes, but not in a bad way. I am particular about what I eat, what I wear, who I see, etc. I expect attention, and lots of it, from the person I'm dating. (Not to the exclusion of all else in your life, but on a regular basis anyway.)

Hi guys thanks for the comments. and yes I took the test I am high maintenance, but I already knew that, when my VS bill was larger than electric bill I knew.

I do not think it is necessarily a bad thing to be high maintenance in certain areas, such as your health. I feel like if you are healthy, with a solid positive body image you are on the right path to a heathy life. As far as things, I love to have the finer things of life, but I am also willing to work for them.
