...Thank gawd Mondays o'er......... Really not been that bad to day, weather was beautiful, again, work was tolerable, and I got to ride to work. That always seems to make it better.
...I hear ya 'bout the blue-ridge ride doc. Sounds like a good idea, if we could all come up with a time when everyone was free. Can imagine how tuff that will be, hell, its tuff gettin' the family together, lol...
...Glad to hear ya got all your paintin' done jade, I musta missed that before, hell I may have read it, but seems i can't remember shit anymore. We had to paint ours a few years ago, thats why i hate paintin' so much. Hope you and the lil' woman have a great day off together....
...I hear ya 'bout this gettin' old crap dinny, I am gettin' a bigger shed o'er my 'tool', damn beards gettin' greyer every day, hair gets thinner on the top every time I brush, and seems every mornin' comes with another ache....But I have always thought, gettin' old, sure beats the alternative....
...Fyrfyter, i do feel for you and doc, ridin' in city traffic. Am sure that would take a lot of the joy away. I was out your way, 4 years ago this summer. The ol' woman and I, did a 6,000 mile ride out thru the western states, and a stop to chek out the arch, was a big hit. I enjoy travelin', but am really just an ol' hillbilly at heart..

Crap man, its the weather!

I don't know about the rest of y'all but it's been snowing for two days here in lovely Colorado and today's high is 15. Tonight's low will be -1. My wife got off work at 8 PM last night and it took the bus two and a half hours to make the ten mile trip to our town. And there definitely is no bikin' today!

....Oh hell, I feel for ya dinny, hate to tell ya, has been in the 70's here today, really 'bout all week, but s'pposed to be changin'...Weather is movin' in, and with that, will bring the colder temps. Weatherman this mornin' even mentioned that "S" word, hopin' he's wrong, lol.
....Just came in from outdside, its 7:15, and its still 64 degrees, was tellin' the men at work today, hope we don't hafta pay for this come january. Like anything anymore, just take it, and enjoy it while ya have it....
....Hope it breaks for ya dinny, and hope everyone else has a great evenin', and Thursday is even better....

Dinny you and that dam "S" word. Now there predicting that we have a good chance of snow heading are way for Monday. Gonna put my bike over my buddy's place. With snow on Monday better get it over there will the gettin's good....

Snake their predicting mid sixty's here tomorrow. I am off Friday and it's gonna rain. Saturday and Sunday their predicting cold and very windy. Buddy this just has not been my year.

I do hope everyone else have been having a good week...

Yep WARM here today. I even took off the jacket and rode in the shirt sleeves this evening. Wouldn't you know though supposed to drop 40 degrees by the weekend just in time for Guard drill.

.....Seems the snow ya got for a few days dinny, has been poundin the midwest, cheked out the weather channel, sure looks like its been a mess. Like I said, was beautiful here, but yesterday the winds came thru, and VERY hi winds at that, and has left us with a cold snap from hell. I was afraid we would be payin' for the great weather we had last week...Built a good fire up last nite, and it sure feels good this mornin'.
.....Listenin' to the radio yesterday mornin' while gradin' 'baccor, and seems Knoxville was hit perty hard with the hi winds. Noticed later that St.Louis was as well, just wonderin' if fyrfyter has been hit with the power outtages that were so widespread...Hope noone has been affected to any major degree...
.....Would like to welcome ya knightwing to our lil' family. Always good to see new faces...Like travelin', and comin' outta your room, with a good-cold Bud-lite, seein' more bikes, ya just wanna talk to 'em, see where they've been, where they're headin', etc...Kinda the same here, always good havin' fresh input...and gettin' to know riders....
.....Hope he cold weather is short lived, and everyone has a great weekend...Am sure ya got all this fine weather I have had doc, but guess ya also got the hi-winds, probably last nite, or early this mornin'....with no major problems I hope.

Good morning, guys...

I looks like we're going to see a nice day here in the small New England town of Woodbury. Yesterday we were getting high wind (60 m.p.h.) and a driving rain. Today and tomorrow is supposed to be sunny with temperature in the low 40's Then Monday we have are first shot of the reason for snow. There not exactly sure just how much yet. All depends on the path of the storm... Thanks for share'n the storm with my Dinny...

Well yesterday just seemed like a good day to get the laundry done. I took a container of the turkey broth I made last week end and turned it into a nice Turkey/Sausage Gumbo. All I need to do is pick up a nice fresh loaf of French bread for tonights dinner.

Looks like both Doc and Snake still have the good weather yet. Get out if it's still not to cold. You ridden days are on borrowed time. Unlike Knight Wing I am not a cold weather rider and my trusty steed is getting put away this week end.

I have some calling around to do today. My lady friend and I are doing a Christmas dinner party for her side of the family soon. I'm using my connections to order the spiral ham and a shrimp platter. She has to work that Saturday so I volunteered to do the cooking at her place. She comes from a large family of ten brothers and sisters. With 3 sisters he in Connecticut. They do a Christmas gather to exchange gifts with her sisters. Then Christmas day each one can spend time with there children and grand children. This is all new to me as I was a only child...

Good morning, gang...

Well still in first snow storm of the season mood. My bike is officially stored for the winter. With a little fuel stabilizer added to the tank and the trickle charge on the battery. It's all right my buddy gave me visitation rights if I get lonely and want to visit it during the winter.

The lawn ornaments and bird bath is put away. Today I switch over to winter blades on the van. The snow tires are in place. Got to get out the snow shovels, ice scrappers, windshield cover, snow broom, the rock salt, and ready the snow blower. The weather guessers still won't commit to how much whiter stuff we will see tomorrow...

So Snake and Doc while your out ridden around on you bikes tomorrow think of Dinny, KnightWing, and myself moving snow around...

OK time to start the day. Goin over my lady's place later. She has to work until 3:30 pm I volunteered to bring over some turkey/sausage gumbo. After we're going to snuggle up on the couch and watch a move together. Unfortunately with the storm coming later this evening I won't be able to spend the night I have work tomorrow. The holiday season is going to be a hectic one for the both of us.

Took the bike to drill yesterday AM. Damn 29 degrees at 70 MPH before sunrise is CCCCOOOOOOLLLLLLDDDDDD. Took me hours to coax my nads out of their retreat into my body.

a midnight trip in December to King City, CA in the '80s. I was driving my pickup truck into town for some reason I can't remember now when I was passed by a Hells Angel in a wife beater doing 80 MPH in the rain...the man was doing some kind of chemical that night.

Been a KOLD day here in the western tip of Va., woke up to temps in the teens, and it only warmed up to the 30's. Helluva change from 60's, and 70's last week. I did ride to work, and kinda like doc said, was so cold......well, brings to mind the seinfeld episode, 'bout george in the cold pool, and shrinkage... ..
Ponytail was froze when i got in, told all my co-workers was thinkin' of goin' into the cosmetology profession, and would be able to give anyone a perm who wants one...........on a mornin' like this.
Gonna be another cold one tonite, and mornin' ride, maybe even colder, looks like it's gonna be clear tonite. Gotta good fire goin' in the woodburner, and everyones in for the nite, so not gonna be a problem.
Hope everyone had a great Monday, and the rest of the weeks even better.
Remember, only 21 days left, so don't anyone let the day sneak up on 'em...

Weather bug here on my computer, says its 14 outside, I always figure its a bit colder then that here on the river, but whatever it is, its another cold one.
Glad to hear the worst of the storm missed ya jade. Always good to be missed...lol...I hear ya 'bout the guy ridin' in the rain dinny, not too fond of any ride without a winshield, just spoiled I guess...

...I hear ya dinny, my problem bein', other then ridin' a dirt bike, as a kid, I never rode anything else...I bought this goldwing just o'er 6 years ago, and thats the only street bike I ever rode. When I say I have been spoiled, to all the conveniences/luxuries, lol...I have been spoiled. I have rode my wifes 1100 Shadow a few times, but thats really not for me. Guess its kinda like ya said, these ol' bones/body need pampered...
...Been kinda flippin' back and forth from here to the tv, always try to catch 2-wheel Tuesday, 'specially American Thunder, and Corbins Ride on...Anyone else try to watch 'em..?
...At least Tomorrow is HUMP day, hope everyone has a great Wed....

Yup, Snake...you got that right!

Between the windshield and the Corbin seat, with a back rest BTW, I ain't never had it this good. Ate bugs most of my adult life and caught more bees and wasps in my collar than split tail on the back of the bike (read that as almost none). So chalk it up to being in my 'golden years'...and apparently from what my friends tell me I look just intimidating enough nobody will f**k with me. I find that hard to believe myself... I mean the Mrs. says I look like a criminal and I may be a little rough around the edges but I never thought it was that bad! Maybe I've eaten more pavement that decent society allows.

...Get ready doc, I rekon a big arctic blast is headin' our way, s'pposed to be in here tonite/in the mornin', so am guessin' ya ain't gonna be far behind...
...Hope everyone has a great Thursday, Christmas parade here tonite, so guess, we will be takin' the lil' one out to see it, if we can find a plce to watch it from the vehicle...
