...Good evenin' everyone..been a wet day here in the western tip of the ol' dominion...but can't complain, has been t-shirt weather, and here it is 3 days till christmas....
...Been wonderin' 'bout ya dinny, have seen all that on the news, sure looks like onehelluvamess...Good to see ya still have power anyway, and will be hopin' that ya get some warm weather soon, to help with the thawin'/meltin' process...We only had rain today, but theres been a lot of it, haven't checked the rain guage yet...
...Weatherman says, we may have some snow Christmas evenin'/nite webb, but should be lil' if any accumulation. My wishes for a white Christmas, went out the window, when I was hired on, with the highway dept. Now snow means, I work nites, course this too may change, as the new gr-daughter gets older, and wantin' snow...
...Snow is perty for a lil' while, but seems the older I get, the shorter that 'while' is...lol...
...Hope everyone has a joyous, and happy holiday season...

.....And a BUMP for the ol' thread...Been a good/short week for me here in the western tip of Va., and glad to see Friday almost here. Gonna have another long weekend, and then another short week, thanx to the Gov. of my fair state...
.....Hope with nobody postin', means everyone is out ridin', I have been gettin' a few miles in, last weekend, and rode all week to work. Been kinda cool in the mornin's, but is always nicer for the return trip. Always hate it bein' nice, and havin' my big-ol-truck at work.
......Hope everyone has big plans for the new years, and whatever ya do, be it partyin', or whatever, always prepare ahead, for either, to stay, or have a designated driver...Always been kinda partial to a few/several, good 'stiff toddies', myself...But always do it in a safe enviornment, and be here to partake again, another time...

Just home from hols and spent a couple of days with a mate who is also a fellow rider.

The beast had a couple of good hundred milers over the last week and just wants to go faster out on the open road.

I hope the bearded guy was good to you all and that the new year brings many more opportunities to get out onto the open road.

...Didn't get any saddle time in today, I think it's the first, first day of the year, I have missed ridin' in, years...thought 'bout it, but had to much work to get done here, did get the rest of our 'baccor graded, so was well worth the missed day of ridin'...Now just to get it sold, and bring home the dough...
...Hope everyone had a good/safe new year, we stayed in, but did stay up to see the ol' year out, and the new one in...I think it has somethin' to do with me gettin' older, don't seem to enjoy these late nites drinkin', and partyin' as much anymore...

The weather's closed in at the moment and it's raining a fair bit (but hey we need it ) so my saddle time has been very limited the last two days
Besides I think my lady needs some time in the saddle more than I do at this time.

I didn't put the bike on blocks this year...damn it! I'm going to be the first one in the wind when the streets are clear enough, till then I'm revving up the scooter in the garage everyday I can! (Of course another snow storm is expected the end of the week and is currently dumping 8-16 inches in Idaho.)

...Glad to hear ya are gettin' some needed rain webbo, it's s'pposed to be movin' in here tonite, and tomorrow. Been strange weather for the first of the year, was 63 here today, and s'pposed to be even warmer tomorrow...Don't care, as long as ol' man winter don't try to linger come spring...

I can't believe this...

The Mrs. and I were coming back in from the store last night around 9:30 PM ...it's around 20 degrees outside with six inches of ice packed on our street and some damn fool is riding his Harley. Of course he was barely moving and having a hard time holding it up but WTF was he doing out there to begin with? Man, I want to ride bad... but I want to keep my bike in one piece to do it. So I guess I won't be the first nut case to ride in the New Year in this valley.

....Sounds like a hardcore rider dinny...I always tried to ride he first of the year myself, but didn't make it this year, was finishin' up our 'baccor. But did get a nice lil' "putt" in the day after, nice as its been here, should have been ridin' more.
....Glad to see some more postin', welcome wildrozes....Always good to see more women ridin', I always get some nice pics of the hott women, ridin' rockets, at Daytona every spring...

took master 9 for a burn around town on the back of the bike Yesterday while master 11 was over at a mate's place......he loved it - natural on a bike leans into corners well, doesn't squirm around....and tried to con me into getting him and his brother a bike each......

...Welcome back doc, Been kinda quiet 'round here of late, seems me and webbo, been tryin' to keep the ol' thread goin'...Good to see ya back bud...
...Sounds nice webb, takin' the kids out for a putt, I am really lookin' forward to gettin' my gr-daughter on behind me, course, her just bein' a few months old now, looks like it's gonna be awhile...but still enjoyed hearin' you haulin' yours...
...Got a perty good dustin' of snow here Tuesday mornin'...roads got slick, and messy for awhile, but by midafternoon, it was clear,windy, and turnin' colder...I did pull a nite shift, but mostly just checkin' for water runnin' across the roads, and freezin.....easy nite, but sure makes for a long one..
...Brought in a lil' wood this afternoon, got another long weekend comin', so will get a few loads in this weekend. Already cold here, but the fire sure feels good...Hope everyone is warm tonite, and has a great Thursday...(Friday for me... ...)

..lol..thanx webb, I am soooo lookin' forward to that. I have already had her on the 4-wheeler, figure won't be many years, she'll be wantin' her own. Guess a bike will be several more down the road, but am lookin' forward to takin' her out for a putt...
..Welcome windesire, this thread has gotten slower, here durin' the PMS days of winter......( Parked-Motorcycle-Syndrome...)..Glad to see some fresh faces, I haven't wrote on here much myself of late, but am still enjoyin' some perty fair ridin' weather for Jan. Don't fret too much 'bout the cold of Michigan.....its been snowin' a lot farther south then where I am, here in Va. So ol' man winter has been spreadin' the winter blahs all around...
