Good morning, girls and boys...
Congradulations Webbo my friend, you put us over the 1000 post marker. I want to thank all the people that have posted here to keep ARE thread a live...
Now in reference to your selection of bike...! I must say it is a good looking machine. It has a nice clean classic look to it and like myself. My GoldWing is my actual third Honda. I had a Honda 250 CR dirty bike that was modified up the hilt (ex factory race bike) and it ran like a animal. I then purchased a Honda 750F sport bike which I modified and could destroy 1000 cc Kawaskis to 90 mph. Now I wanted a bike I could be comfortable on for a nice cruise and the GoldWing does that beautifully. The reliablity of Honda is incredible. None of my bikes have ever left me on the side of the rode if that says anything...
If I read you right my mate sounds like your down to the chioce of color... Do it...!
Secret glad to hear you were able to get some training in yesterday. Shit I would be on oxigen after throwing down 65 clicks on a bicyle... Now with the right woman under me (or on top) I can go all night long. Thrust power I have plenty of no pedal power... Hope your ride'n partner is respond well to therapy.
Bimori sounds like your busy gett'n ready for this season. Did all that last year...
Well it's time to get some breakfast. I'm gett'n hungry. I do hope the sun comes out today. It's overcast here this morning. I was hoping to get some fish'n in this evening. I need to unwind before work tomorrow and this type of weather catch'n Mr. Bass will do just fine.

The date will be; May 20th, 2007.
The location will be; My place in the sleep town of Woodbury, Connecticut.
Who is invited; the good members of Biker’s Run (and very naughty biker chic’s… )
Rule of attending; damned if I know… This is like Vegas, what happens here stays here!
All joking aside this is your opportunity to meet some of the great people on this thread face to face. It will be a day good food, good friends, and good times. Just a day for you to relax in the warm sun with your extended family. No pressure and no egos! Just laughter and lots of smiles.

...That is a helluva day secret, and I guess ya are on one of those lil' narrow, hard, tourin' seats....
I am more like jade, I ride, but not too fond of pedals, keep up the good work woman. Gettin' ya ready for the long-haul....
...Good to see ya back webb, and that is a nice ride, I have always been kinda partial to Hondas myself, they are perty much bullet-proof. When I got ready to buy a 4-wheeler, I knew it had to be a Honda, and have had it for several years now. Change the oil/etc, and it just keeps on goin'....
...Hope ya didn't have to work too hard this weekend whspr, I have done that myself, always hated workin', knowin' everyone else was off, enjoyin' the weekend..

Good morning, everyone...
It is still overcast with showers. About the only good is that the lawns are growing like crazy. I am going to have to cut the lawn very soon...
Last nights fish'n trip was not productive. I thing the flooding recently seemed to have relocated some of the fishies... I didn't see either a trout or bass... I was gett'n a little frustrated with all the dam pan fish. Around here their so dumb you don't even need bait on the hook. Caught three of the dam thingsThey'll strike a bare hook. I think I am going to have to wait a couple of weeks for the enviroment to stabilize...
Sorry to hear ya won't be able to make the cook out Snake. I always over cook for this BBQ's. There will be others...

Webbo popped your 1000 post cherry. (I didn't realize you two were that close) You should dip your line out here - fish the big lake and catch yourself a sturgeon, pike, muskie or a fresh water salmon ....we got lots of little trout streams around too. Only thing is if you and I went fishing we'd forget about the fishin' part.

...Been a beautiful day here in the western tip of Virginia, and s'pposed to be even better tomorrow. Reckon it could set a new record hi, (87), that has been in the books since '57. I keep thinkin/worryin', that as hot as its been here in march/April, wonder just how hot its gonna be come July/August.
...Ya have a boat jade? I use to fish a lot myself. My daughter and a friend of hers went down to the river last nite, and the friend caught a 3 lb. drum. She was so excited, she called us, and said, bring a bucket, its the biggest fish I have ever caught, altho they didn't know what it was at the time. Guess our weather has been much warmer, so the fishin' is better. I was tellin' a man today, I was suprised noone floated the river this weekend, the water looks great, and other then a mid day sat. rain, the weekend was nice.
...Don't be rushin' the mowin' thing either jade, already mowed here, 3 times...and i am none to fond of mowin'. I need to get the bushhogg on, its gettin' perty wooly 'round the barn even..
...I hear ya webb, big decision, which bike to get, plus ya gotta help keep momma happy, ya know what they say...If Momma ain't happy....Ain't noone happy...I have a friend tryin' to sell his vtx 1300, he's wantin' an st1300, I keep tryin' to talk him into a goldwing, but have had no luck...
...ohhh, and Secret, ya know why the lil' boy caught so many fish...he kept his worms warm, by keepin' 'em in his mouth....

Well congradulations to your daughter Snake. I don't feel to bad there were a lot of other guys there not catching any thing other than them dam blue gills. I still like to think it had It wasn't me and the recent flooding. As far as mowing my yard is small. I love the smell of a freshly cut lawn...

Howdy all.
Had a busy weekend. Two more Experienced Rider Classes. One was a Harley Hog group. They were a lot of fun. The other was a mixture of bikes,,, BMW's, Harley's, Honda's, Crotch rockets, Ducatti's..... Most were more comfortable with their bikes after class.
Webbo,,, nice looking bike. It doesn't really matter to me what anyone rides, two wheels is two wheels. What ever works for you. I like to have luggage, because I need room to put things for classes,, and when I travel.
Looks like the weather is going to be nice here for the next week!!!! Hope everyone gets a chance to get some wind in their faces.

Woohoo it's the weekend... Today was a absolutely beautiful day...! Spent the morning with a best friend... So the weekend started out as a beautiful weekend.
Webbo hear ya on those windy back road. Just love tossing the bike over into one turn then tossing it over the other side for the next turn. I never like parkway riding do to the A hole up there. Give me a back road any day...
Snake sorry to hear your weather forecast and the rain. As a kid my parents would send me off for the summer to my uncles farm in PA. I remember how busy the farm would get during the summer. Never had a problem falling a sleep at the end of the day.
Dinny I envy you. Sturgis has always been a dream of mine. I looks like a wild time with great friends.

Well tomorrow's schedule is to get the lawn mower out and change the oil. I will be cutting the lawn for the first of many times this summer. Then I want to turn up the herb garden and get that planted. I want to get it done tomorrow as I want to get my bike out Sunday. I need to change the oil. Sunday it is supposed to be a chilly day but clear. I need to get my head clear.
I have a gal that is dying to be my new back rest. She has very attractive Irish lassy with red hair, blue eyes and lots of freckles. A very slender delicious hard body. She has been hounding the hell out of me to go out with her. Hell she even took my cell phone off my belt and put her phone number in it. I am a little reluctanty mainly do to the fact that she is a 20 year old college chic. I have her by 43 years... Besides incredile sexy I am not sure what we have in common...

Sunday it is supposed to be a chilly day but clear. I need to get my head clear.
I have a gal that is dying to be my new back rest. She has very attractive Irish lassy with red hair, blue eyes and lots of freckles. A very slender delicious hard body. She has been hounding the hell out of me to go out with her. Hell she even took my cell phone off my belt and put her phone number in it. I am a little reluctanty mainly do to the fact that she is a 20 year old college chic. I have her by 43 years...
Besides incredile sexy I am not sure what we have in common... Well I want to wish everyone a super great weekend...

First bike was an old Honda super 90 scrambler ( high exhaust and a brace on handlebar) Bought it with a buddy and neither one of us could bring it home so we hid it in an old barn. Nothing much but a field burner but it sure got into my blood. Moved up to a Honda CB175 I bought from two college girls who couldn't bring it home either. From there I expanded my horizons to English bikes , 650 Bonneville was my all time favorite and rode it for daily transportation in College. After a couple more English bikes I Picked up a HD Sporty. It vibrated and leaked oil all over the place but I fell in love with a V twin. Continued with Harleys and had my fair share of different models but one thing never changed... That freedom and feel of the wind in my face. Its as close as any of us earthbound types can get to the feeling of flight. After 37 years of riding that has never changed for me. To ride through a rock cut and feel the sudden change in the air or the scent of the pines as you wind your way through the mountains. Stopping in a small town diner to share a cup of joe with the locals. Love to share stories from the road. There's so many good folks out there and its great to see their smiles as they wave. There's so much of this beautiful country I long to see yet.
It hasn't been all roses and I have lost some bros along the way. It helped to change some of my ways when it came to riding. I chalk it up to experience and know my lost friends are taking the high road.
I look forward to hearing some tales from the road and hope to share a few myself.

...Hope everyone had a great week, finally got a bit of rain, but we need more. Lots of storms been all around me here on the homestead, but most all of it has gone around..

...I hear ya dinny, 'bout gettin' ready for Sturgis, I always thought the anticipation of those big rallies, helps get ya thru those long dreary days of work... . I did Sturgis several years back, some beautiful country/ridin', and the party is perty good as well... ...Hope ya have a great trip...

Only problem I have ever had with my goldwing, the lil' woman, sets entirely too far back, make her lean up, so she can whisper in your ear....

Good morning, girls and boys....
It's another beautiful day hear in Woodbury, CT. The weather guesser's are saying that next week we have a good chance of seeing 80 + degree days.

I have only re started riding this last year after a long absents will raising two beautiful kids. Enjoy your stay with us. This thread belongs to all that post here. Hopefully you'll find people in your area and also events posted on this thread. We have members from all over the world posting. A great group of friends. I am sure you'll be a great addition to are little group.

The date will be; May 20th, 2007.
The location will be; My place in the sleep town of Woodbury, Connecticut.
Who is invited; the good members of Biker’s Run (and very naughty biker chic’s… )
Rule of attending; damned if I know… This is like Vegas, what happens here stays here!
All joking aside this is your opportunity to meet some of the great people on this thread face to face. It will be a day good food, good friends, and good times. Just a day for you to relax in the warm sun with your extended family. No pressure and no egos! Just laughter and lots of smiles.

The menu for the BBQ will be: (anyone wishing to bring a entrée please PM me so it can be added to the list and you will receive credit for it… It also help avoiding duplicates )

. Jaded’s Polynesian Honey Glazed Chicken Breasts – Jaded.
. Jaded’s Homemade German Potato Salad – Jaded.
. Vegetable Kebabs with a Peppercorn Sauce – Jaded.
. A tossed green salad – Jaded.
. Chilled watermelon for desert – Jaded.
. Plenty of ice cold soda – Jaded. (this is a BYOB affair)

. Sliced land O lakes American cheese, hamburger buns and hot dog buns.
. Tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cucumber, raisins, crotons, and a assortment of
dressings for the salad.
. Tomatoes, onions, fried peppers, lettuce for the burgers. Plus Jaded’s Tex / Mex
BBQ sauce made with tequila.
. Condiments (not condoms! Supply your own… You know you’ll fall right out
of the Magnums that I us…!) such as;
Ketchup, mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, hamburger relish, hot dog relish, and fresh
creamy unsalted Land O lake butter.
. Paper plates, plastic cups, plastic eating utensils, and paper napkins.
. Ice.
Jade has a supply of Mardi Gras beads for those naughty biker chic’s wanting to show or rub their tits against ol’e Jaded…

Wish i could make the party jade, the bbq sauce, with Tequila sounds tempting indeed...
...Got a lil' rain this mornin', been out piddlin' in the garage, and its started again, normally I would hate havin' rain on a sat, but we are needin' it bad, so I can make do. s'pposed to be outta here tomorrow, so the weekend won't be a total wet one.
...I have taken on a few horses to pasture, a fellow stopped by, in dire need of somewhere to put 'em up, so told him to turn 'em out here, but be lookin' for another place. Like horses, but never did get into 'em all that much. My dad had 16 here at one time, guess ya could say, he kinda burn't me out on em...
...I like the way ya think nywings, I always enjoy meetin' other bikers, and talkin' the evenin' away o'er a few beers, one reason why we enjoy camping so much, seems ya meet more folks like that, then ya do at a motel...Theres some great ridin' here 'round my neck of the woods, deals Gap is only a few hours away, as well as the smokies, blue-ridge parkway. Should ya ever venture this way, give a shout out, would like to meet up for coffe, and a ride...

Good evening, everyone...
It was most definitely a nice day today. I got the lawn taken care of today and went to the Garden Shop and picked up cooking herbs. I plan on getting up early tomorrow and turn over the herb garden. I want to get them in the ground tomorrow. That should take me to about noon. Then I want to get the Gold Wing out and go for a ride... It should have warmed up a bit by then and I need it bad.
Snake check your email I sent you the recipe for my Tex/Mex BBQ sauce. Enjoy my friend...
