Biker's Run..........................

Howdy all. Hope everyone is getting out and enjoying their weekend on two wheels if possible.

Taught another ERC class today. Done for the weekend. Have to do some domestic things tomorrow, but hopefully will be able to log a couple hours of quality saddle time.

Sorry Jaded that GG isn't gonna make the BBQ! Maybe next time.

Snake, good luck with getting everything done.

Glad you are getting some saddle time as well, Webbo.

Welcome NYWings. I'm not much of a wrencher... but I'm not to bad at scraping the bottom of the chrome!!!

Larrycando.... hope it's not raining there.

Stay safe.

NYWings..do you go to the Harley Rendezvous in June or AM-JAM in May? Also, where abouts are you in upstate?

Not yet but you never know. Usually conflicts with laconia NH vacation time. I've talked with a lot of folks who have gone and hear its a good time. That is when it doesn't rain and the place turns into a mud hole, but I've riden through hail storms, Huricane David and some nasty thunder storms.

I'm around the Capital district area or a little north.

Every time I see this thread I think of taking a ride, on a nice day. With someone, I wouldn't want my own bike. It makes me think of freedom, which is nice. I would be really freaked and need to know the person very well, and that I could trust them. Nothing between me and the pavement, but a helmet, not much.

You guys must really enjoy yourselves. Does it make you feel a bit younger? :) cause thats always a good thing.

G-mornin' everyone,

...Early mornin' here in the western tip o the ol' dominion. Had plans to watch the race last nite, but figured they would never get it in, perty much rained off/on here all day yesterday. Oh well, maybe they'll get it done today...
...Welcome to our lil' thread larrycando. When you are here, you are like family, we all enjoy the 2-wheel lifestyle. Likes been said many times, don't matter what ya ride, just that ya ride. I got a late start ridin', didn't get my first street bike till I was 42, but I am tryin' to make up for lost time.
...OHHH yeah Mori, the sacrafices we make for our lifestyle, ride to get tires, then the break in trip. Ride to dinner, but rather then stop in town, we hafta ride 3 towns away, to eat at a similar reataurant, up at daylite to wash the bike, just so we can get an early start ridin'. Ride to get fuel, but pass up 40 stations, just to save a penny, or was it higher where we did get it... ;) ...But this is what makes it so much fun, head to work, and decide its just to nice a day to work, so keep goin', call in sick, and enjoy the day in the saddle.... :) ..Ohhh the sacrafices.... ;)
...Wife took the MSF course years ago KW. I have considered the trailer course, as well as the experienced rider course, but as of now, have bever taken one. I am sure it would be a learning experience..maybe someday...
... :rose: :rose: ...Thats the whole point lorelei, its like tattoos, smokin', sex... ;) ..Its gets in your blood. I am sure any number of posters here would be more then happy to help you out on a ride, anytime... :D ...I understand completely, how you feel 'bout ridin' with someone, not sure I could trust anyone else to haul me, but should I ever venture north, will be sure to give ya a shout-out, and see if you would like a road trip...As far as feelin' younger, a trip on 2 wheels, as well as the love of a good woman, always seems to make me feel young again...
...Coffees done...[_]>, hope everyone has a great Sunday...

...Ride safe, but ride...

Hell, Lori

Hell I don't even trust me some days .... and I'm the most trust worthy guy I know

Good morning, friends... :)

It's a chilly 40 degree morning here in the small New England town of Woodbury, Connecticut. A little bit of a breeze as I sit here with a cup of coffee watching the wind turn my hanging strawberry planter... Gonna start the morning off with a nice breakfast for a change. Then it's outside to turn over the herb garden and plant new plants for the 2007 cooking season. By that time the sun should have warmed up everything for a nice ride this afternoon... :D

KnightWing you are a busy man. Sometime those domestic chores do have to get done. Heres hope'n you get some personel saddle time not the class kind.

Bimori, sound like today is gonna be a rough day on ya. Sorry to hear ya gotta put in all that saddle time...

NYWings, bet you didn't realize that you'd be making friends in your area this quick...! I always said that bikers seem to get a bad rap for most part. I personally think you can't meet a better truer group of people than bikers.

Lorelei_11, I am going to expand a little on what Snake has said. For me it is a sense of freedom. I would compare it to passionate sensual love making. Being in control, being able to pick up the pace or slow the pace down. It is in fact a intimate bond between rider (man or woman) and machine. Known the machine the as if you know your lover's naked body. Knowing everything about it and knowing how to make it respond to your touch. I find myself aroused when out on my bike and yes it does roll over into my love make after a great day in the saddle. You can ask my 37 year old lover and I'm a VERY PROUD 63 years old... To her I am the greatest thing since sliced bread. Far more passionate than her much younger husband.

Snake I want to wish you a great day enjoy your ride. Hope you like those recipes I sent ya... ;)

Dinny, if I am every able to get west one thing I am gonna do is to look your ass up. I can't even imagine the fun you and I would have haul'n ass down the open road... :D Two bros tear'n up the locals.

If I sit here much longer I am not gonna get any ride'n time myself. Want to wish one and all a super Sunday.

Ride proud and ride period... :)

Hey Webbo sorry to have missed ya mate. I hope roze's days at work is getting better. Keep us posted on what color ya chose on your honda... ;)

Have a super day... :)

Doc just wanted to give ya a shout out. Your probably shacked up in bed with one of them skinny super models. Remember bro you have a friend... :D Like just in case she has a room mate ya need to off... ;)

I need to be shacked up in bed with someone. A little chill is in the air this morning in NOVA. Yesterday got out on the bike and got soaked and was forced to head home. Today the plan is to ride the George Washington Parkway if it is not too windy and chilly. Got some custom add ons to throw on the bike first. You know Harley is proud of their stuff. WOW. I have determined to do this thing a peice or two at a time instead of trying to save and do chunks at a time. I like being able to piddle with it though and get her looking just like I want. Today it is front footrests for highway driving, shifter pegs, and break peddle pad. Next go around it some running board inserts....... Wish I could get her done the way I want in one pop but not on my current wages. Oh to be a rich man. If I were I would probably have a custom chopper or something.

You're always welcome, Jade...

If you can catch me. Email me and I give you contact info... there's plenty of open space out here to cover... particularly west of the divide. By the way... I'm 54, maybe you can show me how I can find a 37 y.o. lover... I could use another daughter in my life, haha.

dinny....I'm 32, and my BF is 52....been with guys anywhere from 42 to....hey, Jaded, how old are ya babe???? AGE is a number.....it doesn't matter unless you make it matter. Maturity, and as Jaded said, something in common is what matters. My BF and I so totally complement each other in and out of bed, that's what matters.

Jaded, I'll make sure that Sensual and I find a chance to get up for one of the BBQ's....you always make everyone feel so welcome.

I just read your post today, I didn't know it had anything in it referring to me. I think the spirit of youth is inside us, and so we desire things that match it, or enhance it. It would be nice, and yeah, I'm pretty freaked about it. I'd be o.k if I knew the person well, and that they're careful, senisible, a good driver.

Oh, a road trip, that does sound very applealing, how nice of you to offer. Thats cool, I'm a good woman, and one day, I'll be having fun with someone, making him happy and feelin younger. :D

I love coffee, my favorite drink and I drink to much of it often.

Wow, what a romantic poetic explanation of riding a bike. Then I get to "I find myself aroused when out on my bike." When I read that I smiled and giggled a bit. But of course! It goes right along with your explanation. :D

So, of course my naughty thoughts turn to a handjob from the woman who is taking a ride with you. Perhaps a pit stop roadside, where you can get some privacy in the end.

Best thing since sliced bread. Thats cool, and how I have to feel about the guy I'm with. Keeps me single for long periods of time, but well worth the wait.

Lorelei,
I would agree you want to know your rider before you decide to climb on the back.
As for me and the bike... hard to put it into words , I would say it's as close to flying while gravity is still holding me to earth. You are one with the elements with the wind in your face. Your body and the piece of machinery beween your legs are working as one unit. it responds as you comand it with your movements. Your movements become fluid and the sensation of flying is very real. Its easy to get too comfortable after you have riden for many years. I always remind myself of this and believe this keeps me alert.
Aside from the pure physical inputs there is another that for me that is my "safety valve"... Does it make me feel young? yes, thats one way to put it. For me the feeling of freedom to leave the crazy world behind for a brief moment. When I return I find my batteries are recharged so I can face the world I left behind once more. To travel across the country away from the interstates and meet the real people of our great nation. Share a cup of coffee with an old timer who tells a story about the Indian he rode years ago. You see his eyes light up as he goes back in time to when he was a young man. The smile on his face as he waves goodby tells me he had a good day and maybe I had something to do about that. If a fellow biker is on the shoulder you will stop to see he is alright or lend a hand to get him back on his way. I could share so many stories from the road...

I hope you find someone you trust enough to climb on behind him and feel it for yourself... Now there is one other thing about some of those old "solid mount" Harleys that the ladies often talk about. They refer to it as the harley Hornies... Seems those two big pistons going up and down can creat a very rythmic beet of vibration that transends up the frame and into the seat. When you consider how your seated on that bike this vibration sends tingles to some very sensitive parts... but you'll need to speak to the ladies about that...

Wow! what a wonderful post. I want you to tell me more stories. Maybe kick back with a beer.

Yes, it would feel like you are more one with nature. Which for me, is a very enjoyable and refreshing thing. The freedom is alluring. Flying... so cool, that would be a nice sensation. The only time I've been on a bike was a short ride with my brother inlaw, very slow, in the neighborhood and I was a kid.

Good, you keep on your toes and don't get complacent. That is so great! We all need something to recharge our batteries and rejuvenate. Yes, the real people. Thats why I like the Ellen Degeneres talk show so much. She includes a lot of real people in her show. I would love to have that experience, what you describe, just taking off, meeting people, having a good time.

Yes, I hope I do find someone too. :) Oh... sounds very stimulating. So, would get both people kind of stimulated sexually. Thats a good thing. :)

Sturgis status

For the last two years, this has been the most heavily planned spontaneous ride that I have ever done in my life. First the committee meets in May and drinks till they are shit-faced... with the exception of the two of us that are colon cancer survivors... we're both on the wagon and can't understand a frigging word our fellow riders are saying by the time the planning session breaks up. Last year, all the planning fell apart because the two Vietnam vets (both the cancer survivors by the way) coincidentally had colonoscopies performed within a week of the start of the rally (woohoo). Well, thank God we're both still in remission, me eighteen years now, my buddy about five. But this year, my bud tells me he is secretly retiring from the Post Office, not to say anything to the rest of the group, who mostly work at the Post Office, and we and one other guy... also from the Post Office... and retiring are going on a four to six week road trip from Sturgis throughout the western US, and where ever else we can go in that period of time. I don't know a lot about what might happen on this trip, but I do know that my ass is going to be sore.

That's interesting Wings...

The part about the Harley Hornies, but it only took about eight years of hard tailed Milwaukee vibrator to destroy my lower back on western highways. Give me a softtail and windshield for the rest of my natural life.

Thats funny, you can't understand a damned thing they're saying. :) I don't drink much, or very often. I did when I was much younger. Its fun to be around other people who are drunk. Some people don't like being the only sober one, I don't mind at all.

I'm glad to hear you have been doing so well, for so long. Your friend too. That sounds great, a 6 week road trip. Take pic's, you'll want to have them, it will be a memorable trip.

Howdie troops

Sounds like everyone has been busy on their bikes - me too just peddlin' my fanny off. Been putting in 75 mile days out on the trail - just the wind in my hair but not fast enough to get bugs in my teeth. Besides with my fairing it's pretty wind resistent riding.

I've been reading about your trip to Sturgin Dinny and thinking about the year I went on the back of a Wing. It was a fantastic trip. Once you get over the initial crush of people and settle into just enjoying the bikes it's a lot more fun. Saw some beautiful country - will never forget it.

Dang J - I haven't read back far enough but I get that your cookout is getting less attended. What's up? Pick the whole shooting match up and bring it out this way - we'll party like maniacs. I like the idea that you think you could control our lovin' like the way you control your bike......give it your best shot cowboy.

Well, better get back at it - the damn bike don't ride itself. Later all.

Good evening, gang... :)

Well my Sunday went belly up. Saturday I spent the day changing the oil in the mower and getting it ready for a new season. Saturday I cut the lawn and went out and bought herb plants for the herb garden. Sunday morning ate breakfast and went out an turned the herb garden over. By the afternoon my head was stuffed, my eyes itched like hell, and I had a scratchy sore throat. According to the weather guesser's the pollen count was off the chart... This is the first time that I have ever had a allergy attack. Never did plant the new plants. My head still feels like some one stuffed it with shop rags...:( Never got to go out on the bike. This really sucks and I don't mean in the good way!

Hey Doc nice to see you again my friend. I guess I am luck when I found my bike about all the thinks that were available in chrome accessorys were on the bike. Hell the past owner took the time to polish some of the casing to near chrome. Like I said I was lucky. It even has Gold Wing his and hers highway pegs.

Dinny, if 37 y.o. lover makes me a craddle snatcher then so be it. It all has to do with acting your mental age not your physical age. If you act like your old then your old. God knows I never act my age. I am a lucky man she is Irish, with thick auburn hair, blue eyes, freckles, 5' 3" tall, and just makes 115 lbs. This woman is absolutely beautiful with a body a lot of 20 y.o.'s would kill for... :D

Goddess you know your always welome at my place BBQ or no BBQ. Just let me know when you want to stop by. Well make something happen. Hell darl'n you and I have been together on several occassions. We are very compatible... :D Especially when you're cling to me as if it were are last minutes on earth, your nails buried in my back, and screaming my name...

Lorelei_11, I guess NYWings put another spin on biking. My response to:

"So, of course my naughty thoughts turn to a handjob from the woman who is taking a ride with you. Perhaps a pit stop roadside, where you can get some privacy in the end. "

Actually that is a fantasy of mine. Only problem being is when I cum I cum a lot. Simply put both of us would be wearing the thick creamy load. Sex breaks are never out of the question.

Secret I don't know what happened either...? So if I did pack up my shit and cum out for a couple of days you could find me a place to sleep...? As far as the control comment... It would be very interesting to see if I bent you over how much you could actually take and how long you could take it before you became un glued... ;)

Still another reminder about Biker's Run 1st cook out to be held on May 20th. If interested in attending PM me............

Well gang I need to get my shower in and out of these work clothes. Have a great evening!

Ride proud... :)

I've had allergies, hayfever since I was a kid. Pick up some allergy medication, it works great. Just in case it happens again, you'll have it on hand. Sure wrecked your weekend though, sorry to hear that.

Yeah, Nywings made a great post.

There must be some way around the lots of cum thing. Bring some bathroom tissue, don't have intercourse. :) I would enjoy that on a bike, thats why I mentioned the handjob, and then the pitstop. :D
