Biker's Run..........................

Now I am wondering about buying a bike.

Triumph? Norton? BMW?

Maybe Honda? Yamaha? Suzuki?

Maybe a Hog?

*Wonders.*

Afternoon All, the riding weather has been great here and I've been racking up some miles. About time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good evening, everyone.... :)

Today I had the day off and you couldn't have asked for a better day. The bad part of it is these allergys are kick my ass. I have been taking the allergy tablets and feel like a dam space cadet. I wish the pollen count would drop soon.

Well ya leave the thread for a day and all hell breaks loose. Good to see the activity.

I didn't realize that this was the first night of bike night at Corey's here on Main St. in Woodbury. I happened to be passing and saw all the bikes. Had to stop and walk around. For opening night they pulled some 150+ bikes. The great thing about the little show is that you'll see just about anything. There were Harleys, Honda's, Suzuki's, a Indian, etc. The gal riders have also increased in number. Way to go lady's we love to have ya. I usually have Wednesdays off so next week I am going to bring my GoldWing down and turn some heads. I love competition... :D Sassy there was a gal there with a beautiful turquoises and silver sporty 1200 couldn't help but think of you and your sporty

As a heads up May 19th and 20th is Super Sunday bike show in Hartford, CT. The will be plenty of custom bikes, vendors, and food. If you need more info contact me.

Good to see you on the thread again Shagly. Still torn on what kind of machine to buy. I had a beautiful restored Truimph 750 Bonneville for ya. In a two tone light metallic blue and silver. I told TJ to tell ya about it. Not sure if it's still available. Hell I love my Honda GoldWing Interstate. At 50 mpg it's not hard on the wallet at all. With that air suspension I could ride that puppy for hours and not be sore.

Sweet jesus Miss Eggroll been a good number of years since we shared the same thread. Well a warm welcome. Here on are thread you always have friends. Enjoy you stay and have fun. Don't tear up the bro's to badly... ;) Remember darl'n we're all gett'n a bit older... :)

Well it is great to see every one popping on to say Hi. I am going to try and keep everyone in this area a breast (love that word... :D ) of events in this area. Anyone want to post a event in your area to are thread please feel free. This should be a interesting summer.

Don't forget about are first Biker's Run Cook Out on May 20th. Location is Woodbury, CT. Remember only the strong ones survive... Be a part of the legend of Biker's Run... :D

Summer sizzles, run hard and run safe... :) But ride naked.... :nana:

The clock is about to run out and you won't get to party with the bad boys.....

I am proud to announce the first Biker’s Run get together and BBQ…

The date will be; May 20th, 2007.

The location will be; My place in the sleep town of Woodbury, Connecticut.

Who is invited; the good members of Biker’s Run (and very naughty biker chic’s… )

Rule of attending; damned if I know… This is like Vegas, what happens here stays here!

All joking aside this is your opportunity to meet some of the great people on this thread face to face. It will be a day good food, good friends, and good times. Just a day for you to relax in the warm sun with your extended family. No pressure and no egos! Just laughter and lots of smiles.

So who all is coming so far: me…

The menu for the BBQ will be: (anyone wishing to bring a entrée please PM me so it can be added to the list and you will receive credit for it… It also help avoiding duplicates )

. Hamburgers, Cheeseburgers, and of course Hot Dogs – Jaded.
. Jaded’s Polynesian Honey Glazed Chicken Breasts – Jaded.
. Jaded’s Homemade German Potato Salad – Jaded.
. Vegetable Kebabs with a Peppercorn Sauce – Jaded.
. A tossed green salad – Jaded.
. Chilled watermelon for desert – Jaded.
. Plenty of ice cold soda – Jaded. (this is a BYOB affair)

I will be supplying…

. Sliced land O lakes American cheese, hamburger buns and hot dog buns.
. Tomatoes, onions, lettuce, cucumber, raisins, crotons, and a assortment of
dressings for the salad.
. Tomatoes, onions, fried peppers, lettuce for the burgers. Plus Jaded’s Tex / Mex
BBQ sauce made with tequila.
. Condiments (not condoms! Supply your own… You know you’ll fall right out
of the Magnums that I us…!) such as;
Ketchup, mustard, mayo, salt, pepper, hamburger relish, hot dog relish, and fresh
creamy unsalted Land O lake butter.
. Paper plates, plastic cups, plastic eating utensils, and paper napkins.
. Ice.

Jade has a supply of Mardi Gras beads for those naughty biker chic’s wanting to show or rub their tits against ol’e Jaded…

This will be the first in a series of Biker’s Run BBQ’s. They have always been about promoting friendships.

Although we love seeing your bike it is not necessary for those traveling long distances or those planning to drink a little to attend on a 2 wheeler. There are times when a 4 wheeler is a better choice than reading about you in the newspaper. Those planning to attend please PM me so your name can be added to the list attending. Rain date will be June 3rd, 2007. Be apart of history...

So who’s cumming or should I ask who wants to cum…

Be a part of this historic moment. A part of the legend of Biker's Run. Can you hang there with the best...? It will be something that your grand children will tell the story. The clock is ticking down. I need to know before May 14th if your cumings..........

Only the strong ones will survive...................

HAWG all the way. If you got the bucks go for a custom. Great place around here you can get a custom for about 6000 more than I paid for my non custom Hawg.

There is a place called Orange County Choppers down State that could customize a Suzuki, I mean a Charley.

I am gonna try bro. But finances are mighty slim at this moment so my riding has been limited to day trips. We will have to see.

Love to come but can't this year, Jade.

Too much to do and not enough money to do it with. Take a rain check for next year though.

OC Choppers prices have gone through the roof since they got all the fame and fortune. West Coast is the same. I met Jesse many years ago. Kewl guy, great craftsmanship, but lots of custom shops doing great work for a fraction of what those guys are getting. Good for them though. I wont begrudge them that. I like the small guys making it big stories. However, let the Jay Leno's and the Shaq's that can afford them pay their prices. We got a guy about 30 miles away that does some beautiful work comparable to the others out there I see. Check out this one. Excuse the low quality cell pics please. I do not like to take my real cam on rides that much.

Those look belt driven?

Yeah! What you want a shaft or old fashioned chain?
It will be quieter as a belt driven but I will also want a super quiet exhaust system, better to sneak around on.

G-mornin' everyone,

...Welcome back sassy, where ya been in so long woman, out on the open road, wringin the throttle back... ;) ..I tend to enjoy the same type ride sassy, feet up, takin' in a nice country road, I have not been on before, but I luv the music blaring.
Like I have said, cows stop pickin' to watch ya go by, folks on porches are lookin' to see what that is comin' up the holler, blaring out the brooks an dunn. Its really a feelin' that nothin else can campare to.... :)
...Sure Lori, was what I thought. First trip to Daytona, did my cook in, she had to have a bike, and now shes on her 2nd one. Personally, I would rather haul my woman, but its like been mentioned, she enjoys goin' it alone, and I can see her point, so whatdya say...Enjoy, and be careful.
...As for the message, I skipped it, went on to work, and came in that afternoon, and tried again. Livin' out here in the stiks, does have its disadvantages...Altho the good, far out weigh the bad... ;)
...All this talk of Sturgis dinny, has me gettin' worked up. Some beautiful, altho very hot country, that time of year. Lots of nice country to see, some scenic rides, as well as some hellacious parties...Told ya, the planning stage is half the fun...I have friends who are leavin' out Sunday for Myrtle, now ya think thats not a bummer, I missed daytona, now Myrtle, and to make it worse, they'll go, and bring back stories, and pics of all the good times...I like it for them, but sure am feelin' sorry for myself... ;) ...lol
...whspr hon, that sounds like a fine idea, you singin in my ear, as we go toolin' thru the countryside... ;)
...Damn allergies are flarin' up again here as well jade, and I thought we were perty much thru all this shit. Course I been out in it every evenin', till dark, sprayin' fence rows, and ramblin' rose bushes. Just keep takin' allergy pills, and hope for rain to hold some this shit down...
...Hope everyone has a great HUMP day...cool here early, but has ben warming up nice during the day...

...Take care, and ride safe... :)

Sounds like its a feeling you can't compare, I can picture that. I like some of Brookes and Dunn. I started to listen to country a bit over a year ago. I write songs and poetry.

Yeah, each to their own, I don't want my own bike. :)

Good morning, girls and boys.... :)

I write poetry, and this past year I started to write songs. I hope you do hear them one day. :) They are country songs. I think a couple of them may work for top 40, alternative or soft rock. Mostly country though.

lol... thats funny. They say we end up like our parents. I have in some ways, mostly not. The music thing doesn't affect me much. I don't like rap or hip hop. I don't much like Jazz or blues. I generally like a lot of the top 40 though. Sometimes music just sucks, goes through bad periods. I've been listening to country and enjoying it.

Beautiful day here in Ohio. I am not riding yet, but am itching to so bad it almost hurts...lol. After May 23rd I can ride anytime. With the price of gas will probably start riding to work. The guys love it when we ride in, we have 3 biker chicks where I work, but only 2 of us ride to work.

Well, it is too beautiful of a day to be inside and after working 12 hrs, I think I will go out to the back yard, drink a cold one, listen to the birds and watch the sun set over the hill in the woods.

Everyone have a good one!!! :)

Cool, it is Easy Rider approved.

Good evening, everyone... :)

It's a humid evening here in Woodbury. Where supposed to have showers moving through the area.

Well Snake knowing tomorrow's Friday usually makes me feel good too. But I found out to day I have to work part of Saturday. So Friday will make me feel better. Hope your gett'n some of this rain. One of the funnys things that I say at the show on Wednesday at Corey's was a motor scooter only it's powered with a 650 cc engine. The gal that rides it told us how she was ticketed by a state trooper on I84 doing 90 mph in a 65 mph zone. Not sure if I would really want to do 90 mph on a scooter...

Shagly now this is just a suggestion. When pondering the brand bike to purchase I would look at what dealers are in your area and the dealers reputation. Try to stay away from exotic bikes for now. Possiblely later you can get something exotic. Also figure out what you want to do with the bike. A crouch rocket isn't really a good two up bike. Stay with the popular brands. Snake is right if you planning to take long rides a touring type is what you want... ;)

Lorelei_11 I can a sure you beyond any doubt that I am not like my parents at all...

Sassy today after work I wasn't in the mood to cook anything so I ordered a pizza from a local resturant. I sat at the patio table in the yard with actually a couple of ice cold ones. Darl'n we were both staring at that same sunset... :D

Summer is sizzling, ride hard, ride safe, and ride naked... ;)
