Roze gave me the ultimatum last night when I said that I was picking up the bike today........

it's either me or the bike

so now I have to cancel the sale and hope to god that there was a cooling off period....otherwise I still have to get the bike....just no home to go to

Roz had every right to give me the ultimatum besides now that she let her L's slip (I don't know if she is going to get them again) I get the GPX to myself .

Mine is coming home tomorrow. Maybe the shit will hit the proverbial fan or not but I still maintain...it was my part time job that paid for it and not a penny from yhe gousehold accounts. COurse now I;ll ahve to cut back on the PT so I can ride the darn thing,lol....
Pictures will be posted once I learn how to do it...anyone who can tell me how...it would be appreciated.

Jaded, make sure you have comp and collision. I had a bike burn up in a garage fire back in the day and didn't get a penny because I didn't have comp. Homeowners will not cover vehicles and I don't believe the storage place will cover a vehicle either. You should double check. Better safe than sorry.

HazeNY I will look into my policy. The storage unit is completely made of steel and concrete. There is no electricity in the building at all. It was one of the reasons I choose this facility.

Went to the local Harley Dealer last night for the 2008 premiere....had fun looking around and playing the games of chance...Gingerbread Man got himself a 20% parts coupon, so he bout something...umm...ok....so I wasn't paying attention, I was looking at the totally hot shirt that I had my eye on....he bought it for me for my Bday Then we were looking at helmets...I need a purple one....

Today the carbs came off the Wing...now I am going to drop the engine to chase down a leak that drives me nuts while the carbs get the TLC they need...who knows...a few weeks and I will be the bike in front of you...<big grin>...if I can sqeeze in a trip on the likes of what NYWings enjoyed, I might get caught up with some lost saddle time...my destination....West...

It's home....my Shadow 750 Aero is proudly sitting in my driveway all nice and shiny...course it'll be a couple of weeks before I can ride him. Will take pics and forward them to haze who has graciously offered to size them for me so I can post them.

Good morning, folks...

Burrr, I just woke up to a chilly 45 degrees morning here in the little town of Woodbury, CT... A sure sign that fall is on it's way...

Sorry SirGary but the tomatos are just about done for this season. I was at Logon's farm picking up a half dozen ears of corn and the corn season has maybe another two weeks. With all the dry weather recently the corn isn't the greats in this region.

Yesterday I got a lot accomplished on my list of things to do. This weekend was the fireman's fair in Woodbury. Now I have been to it on numerous occasions and wasn't in the mood for the crowds. However I didn't wanna miss the fireworks display... So last night a grabbed a folding chair, a cooler with a few cold beers, and set up a observation site in on the baseball feild at the school behind my house... Not sure who they contracted to do the show but they did a nice job. To this day I still get excited at the grand finally...

Today I have TigerJen coming over for burgers and dogs. Guess it's my desire to feed the world that I couldn't stand having a friend sitting around hungry on a holiday weekend.

Cyikac, that really is a mighty fine iron horse. I really like the two tone color scheme. Soon you'll be back to normal health wise and be mounting him. Woe, boy did that just shot a image through my mind... Gives a whole new meaning to my saying "Ride safe and ride naked"...
