Biker's Run..........................

cyikac ~ i agree with Wing, set something up that is good with everyone else. It is early enough if you set a date so that I know I could take vacation and have the weekend off. If I have the vaca on the board at the beginning of the year, they cannot change it on me. Wouldn't be like Jaded's party, last min vaca can get cancelled and then was also forced to work the weekend...sucked! I was ready to meet ya'll.

Hi to everyone, haven't seen snake around...hope he is lurking and doing well! Or Webbo...KW finally came back.

*Giving a kiss and a hug to anyone who wants one*

Jaded....where are you? Funny card... :p Thanks!

Later all ~ stay safe, remember...wet leaves are as bad as ice.....

Good morning, everyone... :)

It has been a very busy last couple of days for me...! We have been very busy at the job and being very short handed doesn't help. I think I may start looking for a job change this spring or return to work for myself which would be the wise thing to do...! I have a 8 hour day scheduled for today and a 10 hour day scheduled for tomorrow.

I also have to go mattress shopping this weekend. Tired repairing mine but the split is in the seam area and it just leaked right by the patch. Don't know I guess the ol'e mattress could handle the activity it received over the last couple of months... I am going to stay with a water bed mattress. I would say solely for the sleep reason. But, it is great to f**k on too...

Cyikac, promise to look at the links this weekend. OK vacations are best enjoyed with a member of the opposite sexy. Are there any women here that want to spend there vacation with this man... :D PM me and tell me how we will spend are time together... :nana: Talk dirty to me... I'm very bored...

Sassy, glad you enjoyed the card.

Well, I need to get ready for work. Want to wish everyone a super great Friday... :D

Catcha ya all later... :)

Morning All, fogged in here big time today and some nasty t-storms are suppose to roll through later bringing much needed rain though which is good.

We just did the bed thing a few days ago and it's getting delivered Monday. Moving up to a king which will be nice :) Years ago we had a waterbed which had the coils in it but prefer a regular mattress instead. If it wasn't leaking the heater was kicking off. Nothing like waking up in the middle of the night to a feeling like someone pissed the bed..ugh...

Everyone have a great one!!!

...I had a full wave king a few years back which was good for the use I demanded of it...

.....there was one chick (note the time dated referrance to babe...I mean broad....er....female)....anyway, we decided to have some slippery fun so we remove the sheet and smeared some vegetable oil on the rubber matteress...it could have been the greatest sex of our lives except we kept sliding off the bed...

...looking back, I would classify that as an excellent duck tape oppertunity...

...the rain continues here and the job site is a mud hole but with me calling in everyone to work tomorrow, I will share that mud with everyone...

The leave looks beautiful....they turn ugly when they fall on my lawn...

Have a great weekend everyone...ride safe..

... ...

ooooh mud! I like playing in the mud....

I chopped all my hair off....and donated it to locks for love...took over 10 inches off....I'm getting used to turning and my head not weighing a ton.

...what a generous and nice thing to do....I don't know what you look like but I think you suddenly look a lot prettier....

...btw, a 13yo cousin had cancer and the wig she got from Locks made her feel pretty when she needed it most....people like you are terrific...

Good morning, everyone... :)

Well, my work week finally ended... :D Today is going to be a day of light labor and relaxing as my back is pretty sore.

I took Friday night and went into the big city (Waterbury) to a couple of places that sold waterbeds and supply. Was looking for a good quality waterbed mattress. However they only cared the economy mattress with a 5 year warrantee. So I decided to go on line where I not only found what I wanted be also caught in ton sale. Shipping was free and it should be here on Wednesday or Thursday. After sleeping on a free floating system for years your body gets spoiled. My back has been reminding me.

Today I want to take the tomato plants down and start working on cutting the herb garden down and drying them out for winter cooking.

Then at 1 PM my Giants face the 49'ers... :D

Hazeny I replace the heater in my waterbed once in the 30 years I've owned it. This was the first time I replaced the mattress. It was the ol'e style free flow mattress. This time I switched to a semi motionless. I had a problem with my back and switched to a waterbed. Never had a back problem since that day.

GG. that was a very unselfish act on your part to donate your hair. Many people sell there hair to commercial wig manufactures. By donating it I has a better chance of reaching someone that can't afford an expense hair piece. Bravo. I am trying to picture you with short hair...

OK, gang I'm off to play outside. Have a great Sunday! Catcha ya all later... :D

Jaded....I don't look that different....I still have enough to grab hold of....

Went out yesterday and went over to Island Beach took the dog for a nice long walk...she loved it, and my body needed it!

Went shopping last night, as I have a wedding to attend in a few weeks, and needed something to wear.

Today has been a lazy day, spent time this morning sorting the mail...other than that...nothing exciting.

Evening Everyone, What a gorgeous day here all day today and it still is with a gorgeous sky full of stars and no clouds or wind at all. I did ride about 30 miles or so today...not as much as I wanted to but I had other stuff to do unfortunately. It was one of those days that I could have rode into the sunset forever....

Jaded, cool on the mattress. Glad you found what you were looking for. :)

Ours is getting delivered sometime tomorrow. :)

Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!

I agree with this, I liked my waterbed, but damn, when the heat went off it was cold!!!! Never had major leaks, just small ones that were hard to find. I finally put in a replacement matress...still had my big king bed, but was easier to move and no problems. Now, I have a regular king bed...my cat and dog sleep with me,
a pussy, a bitch and then whatever mood I can be in...might be 2 bitches...lol.

It was a beautiful day here, I had to work, but I put the top down on the car and took my break outside, so I got to enjoy the sun, the slight breeze and the beautiful colors around me. Was listening to the radio, but could hear the birds in the tree by me over the music, so ended up turning the radio off and just listening to nature's sounds. Was so very relaxing. Hope to take the bike out tomorrow...if I don't work...they want extra help tomorrow, didn't sign up but will see what I think when morning comes.

The leaves are beautiful here right now. Am going to try and post pics of my front yard and back yard tomorrow. Bad part is they are all over the road and the roads I like to ride are nice curvy ones....always on the look out for what's around that next turn...

Be Safe...ride free!

Good morning, everyone... :)

It's a chilly but clear morning here in Woodbury, CT... :) I got the tomato plants and pepper plants taken down yesterday. That was the last remaining memories of summer to me. Actually my hanging plants are the last but they are still in full bloom and don't seem to be affected by the frosts we have be getting. I'll keep them going as long as I can. Love color around the place... :D

This morning I have laundry to do then I want to take the ol'e girl out for a ride. We have the possibility of hitting 80 degrees in my neck of the woods today. A nice day to get my head in the wind.

For those that are interested. I registered for the New England Regional Chili Cook Off next May as Biker's Run to represent are little thread. Both Cyikac and GG graciously volunteered their time to assist at the cook out. I am having shirts made up for are little team with the name Bikers Run on it to let the public know who we are... :D I am taking this competition extremely seriously and will do my damnedest to win it for everyone. I have been spending a lot of time researching the competition so I know what to expect. I purchased last night a Calphalon one (6.5 quart with removable stainless steel liner) non stick commercial pot last night for the cook off. From what I've read it was the only way to go and basically made for long low temperature cooking. We are required to have a propane gas stove which I already have. It's a Coleman three burn stove that I have to install a heat defuse'r on one of the burners to spread the flame out more for slow cooking purposes. I picked up a six foot light weight compound plastic folding table as a work surface. I have a Coleman collapsible legs stand for the stove. Each contestant is limited to a 10 x 10 foot space. These events are for most part held outdoors. I am looking into purchasing a commercial heavy duty canopy for both shade and protection from the weather. These events are held throughout the year. I wanted a canopy that I can later add side walls to as the weather gets chilly and windy. With side walls in place and the propane space heater I have the inside of an enclosed commercial grade canopy will be warm and cozy. I have my meat guy looking into getting me a special cut of meat come May not usually available in this area to try to impress the judges. Hell I have even have my knifes sharpened and ready... ;) I have been working diligently on the perfect recipe and have some of the herbs here that I've grown over the summer. I have been also been collecting sources for spices not readily found in this area to get the judge's attention. Come May 3rd team Biker's Run will be ready... ;) They may not know who we are now...! But after May 3rd we will be there greatest competition and the name to beat... I can't think of anything that represent the image of a biker than a biker chili... :)

Well, I just thought a few would be interested. I want to wish everyone a super start of the work week. Catcha ya all later... :)

Morning All, Gorgeous here again today and suppose to be near 80!

Sassy, you're a nature lover just like me...love your descriptions.

Just opened the front door here and watching the canadian geese flying over the corn field by me. That's a nice way to start a Monday!

We're at peak Fall colors here right now and I took tons of pics that I'll post sometime.

Everyone have a great Monday!!!

ummmm ... it's "Canada Geese" ... the geese are not canadians ...

Still bike riding weather here in northern New England ... the deer and moose have been quite active lately, so late night rides on back country roads are a bit more "exciting" these days ... I'll be ridng through Maine, NH, and VT late at night this week ... hope I spot all the critters in time to dodge them ...

Hmmmm that's what they're called in this neck of the woods...now is it pronounced crick or creek? Just want to make sure.....

The Canada Goose (Branta canadensis), also referred to in North America as the Canadian Goose[1], belongs to the Branta genus of geese, which contains species with largely black plumage, distinguishing them from the grey species of the Anser genus.

Well I had a busy weekend. Went with hubby to a beer festival on Saturday...now that was fun. Tried quite a few brews with some outrageous names like Dead Guy's Ale, Dogfish Brew, and You Head Is Gonna Hurt in the Morning (now that one made me laugh). Lots of bikes in the pasking lot, so spent as much time out there talking to the owners as I did at the fete (much to hubby's chagrin).
Sunday was spent cheering on the boys in burgundy who squeaked one by the Cards. The defense needs a raise...they scored more points than the offense.

OK, now I need a little more imput on the date for the spring get together. I am not so familiar with the weather in that part of PA for the spring...so will mid-may work or should it be the first weekend of June?

Have a great day everyone. Me...I get to work the night shift today...1 to 12...darn.

Ride safe....

Mid may should be fine if you don't want 80+temps. Nights will be cooler...but that just means more cuddling around the campfire.

Now that is very appealing...

A crusty old biker, on a summer ride in the country, walks into a tavern
and sees a sign hanging over the bar which reads:

CHEESEBURGER: $1.50

CHICKEN SANDWICH : $2.50

HAND JOB: $10.00

Checking his wallet for the necessary payment, he walks up to the bar
and beckons to one of the three exceptionally attractive women serving
drinks to a meager looking group of farmers.

"Yes?" she inquires with a knowing smile, "can I help you?"

"I was wondering," whispers the biker, "are you the young lady who
gives the hand-jobs?"

"Yes," she purrs, "I am."

The old biker replies, "Well wash your hands really good, I want a
cheeseburger."

Good morning, everyone... :)

I can't believe how dark it is outside this time of the morning. What an absolutely beautiful day yesterday... :D Took the bike out for a nice long ride. Wandered aimlessly for hours. No agenda. Up north of me the foliage is at max. I never fails to amaze me the beauty of mother nature here in New England. I did find a small fuel leak coming off the fuel filter. It appears the braided fuel line is starting to split. I wasn't leaking but it was a little moist around the clamp. I don't want it to leak onto the polished casing...:( I have it shut off for now. I'll pick up a couple of feet of the line and just replace the entire fuel line from the tank to the carbs... :D

Welcome to Biker's Run Shyly Curious. Besides the deer and moose there will be plenty of leafs on the ground. Morning rides on wet leafs can always be exciting. Enjoy your stay here on Biker's Run. When your here your always among friends.

I can't wait for my new mattress to arrive. Although sleeping on a camping air mattress is better than sleeping on a floor it can't come close to my waterbed. I need a good nights sleep rather than tossing and turning.

Well, it time for me to start getting ready for work. Want to wish everyone a super great day. Catcha ya all later... :)

Wind is blowing and gusting here, looks like rain is on the way....hope it blows throuigh before tomorrow, as I have off, and am spending it in Easton with Tony.

Good morning, everyone... :)

What a beautiful night for sleeping last night. There was a nice breeze blowing through. The brisk night air made you feel a live. Now if I had had my new mattress and someone to snuggle up with I would have gotten that much needed good night sleep... :(

It's my day off today. I want to get into Waterbury (the big city) and pick up a couple of feet of braided steel fuel line. I know I could just buy some rubber fuel line. But, that braided steel fuel line just looks so much more professional... :D Plus, you always take special care of your best girl... ;)

I will be busy the rest of the week with work. A little extra money would be nice. Next year I will be incurring moving expenses. Have been toying with the idea of making the second bedroom a den type room. Instead of putting a bed in the room I was thinking of a futon. I am also playing with the idea of a Jacuzzi in that room. I have to research if that is possible. I know the pump and so own can be located in the base of the unit. I am not sure of the restriction and requirements. Just a thought... :D

Well, GG hope you got your wish for good weather today. I know I've always enjoyed sex in the great outdoors in public. Just something about having stranger's watching that I find arousing... ;) Didn't know you were into that kinda stuff too...

Well, it's off to start my day. With the many other thinks I have planned for the day one of the thinks I want to do is make a nice pot of soup. With these extra hours I am putting in it would be nice to come home to a descent meal for supper.

Want to wish everyone a super great day.... :)
