Biker's Run..........................

Evening all, I hope everyone is doing well. Just read something interesting the other day in a current biker rag. A biker in CT in a gated type community was told his bike was too loud to be living there...then they said actually that they didn't want anyone with a bike living there anymore....nice huh? The blurb pointed out that those days were thought to be long gone. WTF!!!

Everyone have a good evening.

Good morning, everyone... :)

What a beautiful night for sleeping last night. There was a nice breeze blowing through. The brisk night air made you feel a live. Now if I had had my new mattress and someone to snuggle up with I would have gotten that much needed good night sleep... :(

It's my day off today. I want to get into Waterbury (the big city) and pick up a couple of feet of braided steel fuel line. I know I could just buy some rubber fuel line. But, that braided steel fuel line just looks so much more professional... :D Plus, you always take special care of your best girl... ;)

I will be busy the rest of the week with work. A little extra money would be nice. Next year I will be incurring moving expenses. Have been toying with the idea of making the second bedroom a den type room. Instead of putting a bed in the room I was thinking of a futon. I am also playing with the idea of a Jacuzzi in that room. I have to research if that is possible. I know the pump and so own can be located in the base of the unit. I am not sure of the restriction and requirements. Just a thought... :D
Well, GG hope you got your wish for good weather today. I know I've always enjoyed sex in the great outdoors in public. Just something about having stranger's watching that I find arousing... ;) Didn't know you were into that kinda stuff too...

Well, it's off to start my day. With the many other thinks I have planned for the day one of the thinks I want to do is make a nice pot of soup. With these extra hours I am putting in it would be nice to come home to a descent meal for supper.

Want to wish everyone a super great day.... :)

Jaded,

There is a company out of Virginia beach that makes a soft sidede unit...just set it up and plug it into any outlet. Can be used indoors or out...I'll see if I can find their website for you.

Rained early in the morning, and by the time we were ready to get up and out of the hotel it was just grey. Not too bad a deal, we spent the day wandering Easton, and then went our seperate ways about 2.30. I headed towards home, and since I was in the general vicinity of my old office, stopped for a nice visit. Then went next door to the mall to wander for a bit. Found some nice Christmas presents for my mom and sis, also picked up something for my mom and aunt in Easton. Then again got on the road and headed home again. Stopped at the mall close to my house and did some more shopping....God when did I turn into a girl?

You have to wonder what makes people live in a place like that?

I knew a guy who could not have more than one car parked in his driveway. I'm not talking about junk or even unregistered cars... He just couldn't have more than one car parked in his driveway or it violated some stupid "community rules" . No RV's , No Boats or trailers permitted in the homeowners driveway! They had a special storage lot for those things. These were not any special homes either. They choose to live in this "restricted, gated " community... AND paid a lot to live there!

Sorry... not for me

Good morning bikers! Hugs and kisses for everyone who wants one.

I'm with you guys, I couldn't live somewhere like that. I have a nice size garage, but my toy truck...an old farm truck...'90 model, sits beside it. And my bike has drag pipes, so they wouldn't like me much. I was always told, "loud pipes save lives." They at least get you noticed. My neighbors don't care much. Or if they do they have never said anything to me. Course I live on a county road...and in the country. I got a couple of good pics of my "back yard" I want to post but haven't taken time to try doing it. It would give ya'll a look at my neighborhood...lol. I have also been known to have a small bonfire in my driveway...just cause I can...lol. I don't interact with the neighbors much tho, so don't really care what they think about my bike or my bonfires. I abide by the burning restrictions we have in our area, and don't build anything to tremendous that close to my house, but when I want to sit out around a fire for a couple of hours, I build them there. Otherwise I have spots in the field where I have burnt brush to have a "real bonfire."

Hope everyone has a great day. Has been rainy and chilly here all week. But the leaves, (what is left), are still beautiful.

Ride Safe!!!

...try Solftub....I have one and when empty, it rolls easily and fits through most doors. The sides are soft but they hold water real well...<smile>...

...and Jaded, if your place is slab on grade, no problem, if the floor is wood...it is a good oppertunity to meet the folks down stairs...

...   ...

Morning fellow two wheeled enthusiasts

Hello Everyone

Greetings all:

I just stopped by to say hello.

It's a beautiful day here in our part of Arizona.

Have fun and ride safe,

Bill

Good evening, girls and boys... :)

It was another very busy work day for me. I have been putting in extra hours to have some extra cash come my move to my new place... :D That won't take place until next year.

GG got some discouraging feed back from the Jacuzzi from the pool store. The floor in the spare room does have a wood floor over the basement. That it would require a lot of re enforcement. To have the floor support the additional weight. My waterbed distributes the weight of the water better than a Jacuzzi would. The owns would let me make the modifications. I have to thing of another toy for the spare room. Maybe a Siberian... How ever I did like your second suggestion of were I may be... ;)

Bluemoonbill, let me take this opportunity to welcome you to Biker's Run. Please enjoy your stay with us. When your here you are always among friends. This thread belongs to all that post here. I like to think of are group as a family. Somewhat dysfunctional but a close bunch of friends... :)

OK, lets start with my waterbed mattress has been replaced. I had been sleeping on a camping air mattress on a military cot. Now that may have been considered a luxury when I was in the bush in Nam. But, now it was crude. It had cause hell with my back. The first night I got to sleep on the new mattress as I lied there and relaxed I heard a loud snap. The pain in my lower back suddenly disappeared. What was ever causing the pain popped back into place and the pain disappeared? Never had anything like that happen before.

I have been also getting some saddle time which has given me the opportunity to clear my head somewhat or as clear as it will every get considering it's me. I needed to find my center again and focus on what I want. I sort allowed myself to get side tracked and wasn't me. I am making adjustments to get back on track. To be me again. The will be those that truly know me that will be happy. There will be others that will be upset. To which I respond tough sh*t. That had to be said.

Now about the chili cook off. I have been extremely busy with that. I am extremely competitive and have every intention of winning the New England Regional Chili Cook Off in May of 2008. A loose is totally un acceptable. Currently there are 40 world class chefs requested to compete. With more to come. The gentleman that won the World Chili Cook Off for 2007 (and $30,000) will be one of the judges. There is also rumor that Ellen Degeneris (hope thetas the way she spells here last name) will also be another judge. The other contestant may not have heard of Biker's Run. But they will tremble at mere sound of those words by the end of the day. My good friend and mentor Mad Mike has been an incredible source of information and encouragement. Mike if your lurking on the thread a big thanks. I'll do you proud my friend. I have been working on a recipe for the chili cook off judges. I am also enter are little group into the people choice section. Increasing are odds of getting a win. I am also in the process of collecting invaluable sources for supplies and equipment. I have great confidence in Team Biker's Run and want to thank Cyikac and GutterGoddess for volunteering to be apart of the fun.

I do hope everyone has been able to get some riding time in. The last couple of morning here in the small New England town of Woodbury, CT have been below freezing. I still have to get some of the Halloween decorations up for tomorrow before the little cherubs start to appear... :)

Well, I need to get out off these work clothes and get my shower in. Want to wish everyone a super great evening... :D

Good morning, everyone... :)

The weather quesser are predicting a beautiful day for are little trick and treats. There will be a lot of kids running around this evening. Many dressed in black so take that at minute or two getting home tonight. We don't need any cherubs or us injured.

Want to wish one and all a super great hump day. Now get out there and start hump'n... :nana:

Catcha ya all later... :)

The littles trick or treated here last night, I'd forgotten that they did that...so had no candy  Luckily found a stash hidden in my dad's room...so they got what I found! LOL

Off to shower and get ready for work...be good all.

Good Morning

Good Morning Folks:

Thanks for the welcome Jaded1..........seems like a pretty cool place.

Best Regards,

Bill

(I'll be back)

Good morning, boys and girls... :)

It's an abnormally warm morning here in Woodbury, CT. I was really surprised at the lack of trick and treaters last night. I think I had maybe ten kids. Is this another holiday that will be completely gone in a few more years... GG why do the kids on your area go trick and treating the day before Halloween in your area? The day before Halloween traditionally is hell night. The kids go out smashing pumpkins and toilet paper trees. All I know was my bike was safe and didn't have to worry... :D

It's another work day for me. I need to get ready to head on in. Want to wish everyone a super Thursday. I need to un decorate the house when I get home tonight... :(

Catcha ya all later... :)

Bike updates

Well my friend is almost ready to ride again!

Helped my buddy put the used engine in the frame and with a few more finishing touches she will be ready to ride! Yahoo!
She has been doing so good to! They went for a good long ride with us a couple weekends ago. Went to a swap meet in Saratoga Springs and a short ride.
My friend also treated himself to a new bike! a 105th 2008 SVO Road King Screaming Eagle 110CI ! The SVO bikes are assembled by a select team of builders that build it from the frame up. The SVO is not part of the assembly line at all.
Its one very sweet looking bike! ( should be for a $30,000.00 price tag!)

Good morning, girls and boys... :)

It's Friday and I have one more day for this work week. Next weekend I definitely want to take the weekend off. The riding season for this year will be drawing to a close for me in not to long. I'm not hard core. It will be time to snuggle up with a biker honey and hibernate until the spring.

Looks like parts of Connecticut will see some of hurricane Noel. With gail winds and driving rain. Some areas possible snow showers. It's to early for that kinda shit... :(

GG always great to talk to you. Like I said you and Bob are more than welcome to come by in December. Give me a date and I'll put together a nice paste dinner ... ;)

NYWings great news about your friend. I have to gather she is recovering fine. I have been very lucky and never actually been involved in a street accident. She is more than welcome to Biker's Run. Are hearts have gone out to her. Not one of us like to hear the words biker down and very happy she is doing fine. This year we had a guy show up at Corey's Wednesday bike night with a Harley based frame and a small block Chev V8. Handling qualities aren't the best. But when it fires up it gets your attention for sure... :D

Cyikac, hope you're enjoying you extended weekend so far... ;)

Bill hope your getting some saddle time this weekend... :)

Well, it's off to get ready for work. Want to wish all a super Friday. Catcha ya all later... :)

Morning all

forcast for my part of the world.... rain glorious rain :nana: :nana: :nana:

The farmers are danceing in the fields here at the moment, it's good to see

On the ride front...went for a blast yesterday for about an hour and ended up rideing with a pack of the local chapter of the "Black Uhlands" patch club....nice blokes we stoped for a quick break and a smoke and talked about up coming rides and things like the toy run.

Even with the rain today I may just take a burble and see where I end up :D

Have a great day every one

Webbo (one happy little camper :D :D :D )

"It don't matter what you ride... as long as you ride"

Yippeeeeeee the weekend for me is finally here.... :D

The work week was a total disaster. With late stock deliveries and no help it was brutal. To top everything off for some reason I wasn't issued a pay check. It seems to have gotten lost... :( Of course none of the brain dead accounting department could figure out how to or wanted to cut a manual pay check and put in an adjustment. Instead they gave me a partial pay voucher. So Saturday when are stock order came in I gave them a partial work day to compensate for the partial pay. Instead working the 9 hours they had me scheduled for I worked 4.5 hours at a very slow pace. Monday I am going to corporate headquarters to the president of the companies office. I'll either have a paycheck or quit. At this particular point I don't give a fuzzy fuck'n rat ass... !

To top it all off I had a dinner date last night and got blown off... :(

Sweet jesus I am glad I don't have a dog at this point. Would have probably woken up to find the fuck'n thing dead...!

When life hits the shitter it goes down fast.

I am planning a day at River's Bend park. I have a secret spot I found were it's quit and peaceful. Plenty of foliage and a babbling stream to enjoy. Gonna kick back and get some thinking in... :D Every once in a while ya gotta weed the shit out of your life... ;)

Want to wish everyone a super great day. Looks like it is gonna be a nice day here in Connecticut anyway. Get out any enjoy life... :D

Good morning, girls and boys... :)

It's a grey dismal overcast morning here in the small New England town of Woodbury, CT. Hope it brightens up today.

Came on to wish one and all a super great Monday... :D It's going to be a very busy day for me.

Catch all my friends later... :)

Had a very laid back weekend. Nothing exciting going on. Back to work for me today...hope all have a good time.
