Biker's Run..........................

Good morning, girls and boys... :)

It's a chilly rainy morning here in Woodbury. Today is election days for us. Always said those that can't do become politicians... ;)

Plan to work on the chili cook off more this evening. I have to work up a first place recipe... :D I am hoping tomorrow is nice. It's my day off and want to get out on the bike.

Want to wish everyone a super great day... :D Catcha ya all later... :)

Good Morning all. No riding here today, temps in the 30's with light rain/snow and windy. Guess it's that time of year! If you are going to ride, be careful!!!

Guess I need to find something to do indoors!

Have a great week all.

^5's to the guys,
's to the ladies.

Cold and rainy here as well. Winter has decided to pay us a little visit as a reminder that it is on it's way. The leaves are still a brillant wash of color...too bad so many of them are on the pavement...
Have a great day....and ride safe

What a yucky rainy day out there.....luckily I have to be at work all day...so that makes up for it.

Good morning, everyone... :)

It's another chilly morning here in the small New England town of Woodbury. The sky is a cloudless blue. I hear ya about the time of the year KnightWing. The weather guessers are predicting a possibility of snow showers Friday night into Saturday morning. Way to early from this shit to start falling. It's time to put the lawn mower and BBQ grilles away (With the exception of grandpa Webber grille. Nothin like a steak charcoaled in the winter time... :D ) and get out the snow shovel... :(

However, this morning it's gonna be a New England breakfast for me. Made up of orange juice, freshly ground Dunkin Donuts coffee, crisp bacon, eggs over easy with cheese, my own home fries (to die for... :) ), butter milk biscuits, and plenty of creamy unsalted land o lakes butter. By that time it will have warmed up a bit. Taken my best girl and heading up into Salisbury, CT (or possibly Mass... ) which is in the North West tip of Connecticut. I reminds me a lot of Woodbury. Very old and picturesque. Lots of beautiful landscapes. I love traveling the country back roads. You know the roads less traveled. My bike loves the chill in the air and runs exceptional strong.

Went to a sit last night and ordered some spices for making chili. Recommended by a good friend. It is exclusively spices and seasonings. I order some of the spices and seasonings I will be using in the chili competition. I am also going to check into getting some shirts made up for the team. To let them know who is Biker's Run. This year has been a tough year for me. A lot of disappointments. It is coming to an end. I am working on centering myself and becoming focused on what I need to do. A skilled learned as a Ranger... :D The other cooks make not have heard of Biker's run prior to May 3rd. But I promise to be their nightmare by the end of the day...

I want to wish my good friends a happy hump day. Now get out there and find somethin to hump! Catch ya all later... :)

I am resigning as cruise director for the Biker's Run spring get together....for reasons too complicated and personal to list here. I am also leaving the thread for awhile and wanted to say thank you for the friendship that was extended to me...a friendship that I should have valued more...but we all learn hard lessons in our lives.

Ride safe everyone......

Good evening, everyone... :)

It was great to get out on the bike today. Not many more days left in the 2007 season for me. The ride started out great. I thought it would warm up this afternoon however I think the temperature took a drop! I got to Salisbury and it was even colder heading North West. I was wearing my leather jacket and was behind the fairing but it was still cold. Shit with all the gadgets on that Interstate you would have thought there would be a frick'n heater. I wasn't wearing the right cloves and my hands were getting numb... :( Stopped in town at a coffee shop to warm up before heading back and actually drank two medium cups of coffee. Wasn't in any rush. Sorta enjoyed watching the passer byes give the ol'e girl a good looking over as she sat there... :D There was a sense of pride when the kid behind the counter said "nice bike". I don't think he even knew that she was older than he was... :) After leaving the coffee shop the ride became interesting quickly. The blue skies had turned a light grey and the air become very crisp. It wasn't long before that crisp air and light grey sky produced some snow showers. Not heavy ones! But, snow showers nevertheless. I didn't like that idea and picked up the pace a bit to get further South. They didn't last long or accumulate but it was my first time out on a two wheeler in the snow. I can't imagine even my GoldWing handling well in the snow... I was thinking about going to Corey's tonight but was to cold and wanted a warm shower. So I put my baby in the storage unit, grabbed my van, and went home. I understand Veteran's Day is going to be nice. Perhaps I'll bring her over to the house and get any mud from the wet roads off her. She doesn't like being dirty.

While riding today I was thinking about Thanksgiving. If any local biker's don't have a place to go and want to share Thanksgiving let me know. What I can promise is a good meal and laughter. I always prepare to much food. It's in my nature. Being a true biker I have no problem sharing a meal with another bro... :)

OK time to get that warm shower. Want to wish everyone a great evening... :)

Darlin, If you decide you don't wanna do all that cooking, you just head south (with either the bike or the van) and I'll make sure you get plenty in your belly....

2 Bikes

I have 2 motorcycles, a Suzuki Intruder and a Yamaha Maxim. I love riding but my wife no longer cares to go on long trips with me. I remember before I got married I had a Suzuki motorcycle and the girl that I was dating could actually have on orgasm from the vibrations! That was way cool as she would be very horny and ready to go whenever we got to where we were going.
Ride Safe!

Hello Everyone

Hi All:

Just stopping by to say hello.

Wishing you all the best.

Have fun and ride safe,

Bill

Just dropping by to say hi to all the biker dudes and chicks!!!

We have had snow "showers" for 2 days here. Not in town, or the next largest town, but out here in the sticks it was pelleting snow. I am trying to finish up my outdoor projects for fall/winter. The deer have been vandalizing my fence almost every day, took time a couple of days ago to really fix it well...turned the electric back on and they haven't broke it the last two nights. Hopefully this is my fix. 3 nights in a row, someone came to my door who had retreived my mare from the road. Thank God she didn't get hit and hurt anyone or herself. Hopefully I am good to go on the fence now.

Don't think I will be doing any riding the next few days. Be safe to those who do get out.

Ride safe.

Good morning, girls and boys... :)

Yesterday was a big surprise to me. It is way to early for snow. I don't really have winter riding gear and don't like riding in cold weather.

Sassy, I didn't have a horse to be concerned about when I lived on upper grassy hill rd here in town. I must have had some where between 12 to 15 deer on my property. I had a dozen apple trees and a pond. That attracted them. They were more like pets. They were frightened by the dog. Used to love to watch them feed in the back yard.

Bill good to see you my friend... :)

Welcome to Biker's run Frnkdracman. Please enjoy your stay and have fun. When your here your always among friends. This thread belongs to all of us. Some really great people here. I only have one bike a fully loaded restored 1981 Honda GoldWing Interstate... :nana: She is my best girl. However, shame on you for making that poor sweetheart wait to get off. I would have found a secluded place and bent her over the tank. Just something about the possibility of being watch as you as you pound her tight pussy...

Well, I need to get ready for work. Want to wish everyone a super great day. Catcha ya all later... :)

Morning All, dusting of snow covering everything here this morning. YUK!

Everyone have a good one!

Morning Haze and Jaded and anyone else who drops in.

Jaded, I wouldn't mind the deer if they didn't keep tearing down my fence...I have made it thru 3 nights now...so maybe they are getting it figured out where the fence is, and tired of the electric buzz.

Ride safe everyone.

Thanks

Wanted to add...beautiful bike Bill.

Thanks Sassy. It's an old Shovelhead that I rebuilt/built this past year while recouperating from my serious bike crash last year. For therapy, one of the exercises that they gave me to do was to put a nut on a bolt......HaHa.......I chuckled at them and said, "I don't think that you know who you're dealing with. I ain't gonna waste my time with a nut and bolt, I'll build something."

Yeah, I'm kinda proud of it...........it was the most difficult bike that I ever built............I had to learn to use my fingers again.............and I had to relearn how to use my head too (My brain was scrambled pretty good in the crash........3 frontal lobe lacerations and bruised brain stem), brain trauma can be very strange.

Best regards to everyone.................

Ride Safe,

Bill

Good evening, girls and boys... :)

Bill very happy to hear you made it through the accident. It bothers me when I hear about a bro going down. Even worse when I witness a bike accident. I am very happy you are with us my friend.... :D I picked up my bike last year. Didn't have much money to spend on a toy. I gave up my bike when raising my kids. Now there grown and with kids of there own. Was time to get back up on two wheels again. Found my girl sitting in a garage for some ten years. She needed some work but had possibilities... ;) There is just something about rebuilding a classic. I love to hear the comments she gets. It's a sense of accomplishment. It's like she has a life herself. She really likes looking pretty... :D

Sassy, do you have a charge running through the fence? They usually won't mess with an electric fence. However if they realize there is no charge they will knock it down. I used to love to sit on the back deck and watch them in the back yard. There was one ol'e buck and about 7 does. I don't know how old he was? But I have never seen a buck with a grey face and this ol'e guy had a grey face. Being the only male with all those does I swear to God he would walk around the yard wearing a smile... ;) He had a hell of a rack and my buddy's told me to shot him for the rack. I just couldn't he was more of a pet than a meal.

Hazeny, sorry to hear about the dusting. The weather people are predicting snow shower again this Friday evening into Saturday here in Connecticut. To early for the season to end. It was 20 degrees here in Woodbury this morning. They say the same thing tomorrow morning... :(

GG, you mentioned that you and Bob were planning to be here in December. Once you two pin down a date let me know. I cook something for us. Baby you know I love cooking for my special friends. It seems it's one thing that I can get right...

Well, people I need to find something to eat and then get my shower in. Have a super great evening... :)

...wow...been a while since I visited here...Welcome to the people visiting here for the first time...some real impressive pictures of some cherry machines on this page alone......nice bikes and good people............bar one, all of the people I have met on Lit have posted on this thread, and most of them are very good people and valued friends.

I wanted to note a passing...Cyikac left this thread...she left due to her relationship with me and certain stealth negative views from one here who she and I wanted to be friends with....she is still on Lit but on threads where she will not have to tolerate profanity and verbal abuse..............to the new visitors of this thread, be careful who you associate with as you are being judged here...

....a side note...restoring an old friend in the form of a '79 Goldwing, one of the classic "naked wings"....but the aftermarkets will be reinstalled after the overhaul because day trips are not what this classic was designed for and revisiting Route 66 to the west coast is in my future.....=)

.... ....

Sirgary, I wish you all the luck with the restoration project that you have going on.....I had a friend give me some advice with the problems that I am having with my bike, and I am going to give them a try to see if it will work for me.....hopefully it will, so that maybe just maybe I will not have to put the bike in the shop......

Sorry to hear about Cyikac leaving the thread......I know that she does not like me, even though I am not sure why, but I still do not think that anyone what so ever should have to put up with verbal absue.....been through that myself, and I refuse to ever go through it again.......So I can totally understand her not wanting to put up with the abuse......good for you Cyikac......

anyway, what ever the problem is, I hope that you all get it worked out....

everyone ride safe please..............

Good morning, friends... :)

It's another dam cold morning... :( I have nineteen degrees on my thermometer. I am not sure if were gonna see those snow showers or not today. It all depends upon what news channel your watching... I guess the best day of the weekend is going to be Sunday. I am going to try and get every thing that needs to get done tomorrow. That way I will be able to get out on the bike Sunday, Veteran's Day. There should be a lot of bikes on the road... :D I'll be flying the flag on the rear of my lady in support of all the young men and women currently in harms way.
