Comments That Make Your Day

Some readers (many in this case) find my stories confusing. And I appreciate those who actually "get it" and fully understand the story.

This comment is from my latest Loving Wives story (spoiler alert) "The Fucking Bitch!" ("Treat her like a mother, fuck her like a whore!") currently at 2.87/196 with 11K views 9.8k words:

An interesting storyline that requires the time to read it properly rather than to just skim read it.
I liked the way that this is how they could exchange power without compromising how things worked at home - I guess they could have just had weekends away but this way she was clearly his whore, and better still they’d found a way for his company to pay them for doing so.

Weaving into a great story the egregious medical situation was an “easter egg” that was a true delight! Yes, dear, you done good!

Buckshot Ranch

Fantastic story! Pleased that you wrote it. Thanks

I guess it's not a comment technically since I got this from a feedback email, but it still made my day. I'm not sure which story it is for, though.
M8 I don't know you but never stop writting those stories.
They're just great.

Some nice comments on Buckshot Ranch overnight:

What a fun and satisfying read! Believable characters that we care about, each struggling to soften and open their tightly protected hearts. Loved the magical realism, well handled and vividly described.
Well conceived, well structured, well told.
Thank you for keeping me up too late, unwilling to put it down unfinished.
5 stars, easily, if voting were still possible.
[ 5 more for not telling us anybody's bra size!! :) ]

Awesome story very well put together. Would b great for a part 2 or 3. It was enjoyed n appreciated.

Buckshot Ranch

Please write more about these characters!

Hello. I’m reading Buckshot Ranch (my first story from you) and have only gotten to the part where they are eating before dancing, Their relationship reminds me of the musical Annie Get Your Gun starring Bernadette Peters and Tom Wopat. I think the script says something about “the tempestuous relationship between Annie Oakley and Frank Butler”. I’m really enjoying the story and your work and can’t wait to read more.

Thank you and Cheers!

Who's a good dog? LOL

As a pharmacist, I can tell that someone has spent a lot of time at a retail counter here. Great idea for a story. Love it. Thanks for writing it.
Comment on "Coffee with Blushes", in which one character is a pharmacy technician.

I'm especially flattered because I am not a pharmacist or pharma tech. (I have worked in retail, though.)

Some more nice comments overnight on Buckshot Ranch: It seems the commenters are speculating on a sequel, and they've pretty much sketched much of what I would put in it. Geesh! 🙄🤣

Really nice story and a new favorite author. I wish I could vote my five.

I thoroughly enjoyed this, it was for the most part a good natured and humorous take on “the mating game”, but with the bullies acting as a form of jeopardy. The one part I’d have loved to see expanded on was the “Old Ones” aspect, reading through some of the comments I can see the author has similar ideas, maybe a sequel featuring Julie & Charlie’s children and a reason for the old ones to act as one for good reason? I can but hope. This was an easy 5⭐️ so it’s a shame the marking system has had to be postponed due to the idiots & keyboard nutcases.
Many thanks for both writing and posting Gordo12, regards, Ppfzz.

Some nice comments that came in overnight:

The Bet: Ah, the famous duct taping. Best revenge scene for a wife getting even with a cheating husband I've written.

A truly unique story that is believable and to top it off kind and respectful to Steve and Mallory

I didn’t like the final duct taping. It was out of the character with the rest of the story

Hidden Boss:

This said, before I even read the story.
Just a note on the Author's notes:
"It made me wonder why all the readers couldn't adopt a similar attitude. If you don't like a story, back out. Click it off. Why do some feel the need to hurl insults because something isn't to their taste?"

Seems to me that when somebody embraces your story enough to transcend your writing and just pick on your theme should be the ultimate compliment as a writer. Imagine, being able to manipulate someone's emotions enough to get pissed at a made-up story. Some of these MoFos on this site piss me off so bad I wanna throw the laptop. Then I think again at how good the writer just manipulated the little illusion he created in my head.
Don't misinterpret the negatives.

Fido:

A very clever and funny story. I have never read a tale from a dog’s viewpoint before. NICELY DONE! 5 stars DMW aka Sumnut96

Cheatify The Bitch:

Funny! Worth the read!

From @Actingup on Under Penalty of Law:

A very sweet and fun story! I know interracial themes are risky, but you handled them smoothly, and it was also wise to put most of the action in the Philippines and to make it clear that she had the wealthy family and the local power.

I’m surprised that none of the commentary has focused on the real crime in the story, which was a statistical joke::

“As with most men, mine is merely above average”

People have been hanged for less.

I love when people notice favorite lines of mine, especially when they're terrible jokes.

Although, genuine statistic, in the UK (and probably elsewhere) when interviewed the majority of drivers consider themselves to be better than average drivers. (Think it is even higher amongst male drivers)

The brain schism of LW readers: Well, it's disgusting, but it's a 5*

The Bet (10 Dates):

For a while I was disgusted. So much disgusting behaviour. In my mind there was a ping pong mactch back and forth. Emotions vs objective fairness. bjectivity wom. The plot is tight, the characters fully presented and real. I cannot vote on a like scale, I have to voted on how well the author presented his material and it is a five. I also need to add, though, I was disgustedby the immoral attitudes and actions of the characters ad if I have voted on the like scale the number would have been less than zero. Yuck!!!

I published The Summer He will Always Remember recently and never received so many kind comments in such a short time.

A few comments:

"A wonderful story of love and we'd like to read more about it."

"Really enjoyed this story. Like many other people who commented, it really feels like there's more to it."

"This was truly an amazing story. I can feel much more to come as he begins college life and she sorts out her feelings. I look forward to it! Well written."

"I will admit— I love a good love story. This certainly was that while also being very titillating. Nice job! Future chapters would be great."

Okay, end of gloating. And time to get back to writing the conclusion.

Postscript: This was my first submission to Erotic Couplings. So I don't know if the category helped the favorable response.

Nice comment on The Bet (10 Dates) overnight.

What a beautiful love story! That is my first and foremost assessment. People do change, and even in strong, mature relationships, sometimes irreparable rifts appear. Good characters are imperfect, because they imitate imperfect people. She'd had no malice in her growing relationships she just had a better connection with him than the less mature husband. In the end, she's happy, the ex is presumably happy, Ethan is enthralled by his wife, and all is well. Thank you for sharing this! I don’t think that gets said enough to those who share their labors here - For FREE. Not sure how I've missed following you thus far, but that has been rectified!

I recently wrote "Acceptance," which was an important thing for me to get on paper personally, on heels of a recent breakup of a long-term relationship. It was like 17k words, and I wasn't sure if anyone would connect with it, or if it would mean anything to anyone besides me.

This comment, though, from an anonymous account made me glad I put the story out there:

"NoooooooooooooooooooooooooO! This was such a good story... please tell me they'll reunite, I want them to be together SO BAD!"
