Crushes On Lit Users

It took me ages to find courage to even post on threads when I first joined. Pming was just a total no no :D But I've made some great friends on Lit from a simple Hi :) And once you've pm'd or replied to a pm it's much easier to do it again and if your lucky you just might meet some great people x

I wouldn't be afraid to pm anyone, but I want to know we'd have something in common otherwise what's the point? I wasted plenty of time on people who were looking for something different to me at first, now I have more confidence that we'd get on. A little research goes a long way :)

I've been on Literotica for a long time. Longer by far than my current relationship. When I was single and lonely, there were a lot of crushes. I even tried talking to them. In my case, this was always a mistake. I either got ignored, or they were insulted that I wanted them. I learned to become a lurker.

Look, I'm sorry to rain on the parade, but Lit is like high school. Exactly like high school. Now for someone like the OP, the sky is the limit. But for guys like me...and maybe Jeff...it's best to keep your head down and your mouth shut.

I don't think that's true Nevyn. Why should you keep your mouth shut and your head down? Plenty people post in your thread and people interact with you on the boards. Don't be so down on yourself :)

It's experience. I am very lucky to have a handful of people who read my posts and I call them all friends. Friends is possible, but more? Even were I single I doubt it. For instance, what if I told you that I've always wanted to kiss your perfect lips?

I know what you mean, I was intimidated a little too, talking to people who had been here for years. But most were responsive, and much nicer than I thought they'd be....just say hello. :)

Exactly :) it's daunting at first but most people here are lovely. Even the Slinger hehe :D
 
Hmm well if Lit is like high school then this would be the first time some of us especially me have been noticed or even considered popular. But unlike high school at least on here when you crush on someone you can actually TELL them and not worry about all the drama of "does he like me/does she like me?" crap.

That's just my opinion though. You can take it or leave it.
