Dingbat Liberal Professor

In this case it is. :( If a bunch of kids were running around, pointing sticks at each other and saying "bang," and she called 911, that would also be idiotic.
If you want to revise the rules, you need to state clearly what the new rules are.

Spell them out for the nation. Toy guns? BB guns? Unloaded guns? How do you tell if it's unloaded? Port arms or sling arms? What about crossbows?

How do you tell if it's unloaded?

Because it's an ROTC cadet handling the same disarmed M1's this week that they've been handling for nearly a century.

Not to mention the administration informing you of as much.

University : "ATTN ALL STAFF: ROTC cadets will be doing military drills TUES/THUR at location X"

Dingbat Liberal Professor: "OMG guns I'm calling the cops on ROTC!!"

COPS&UNI: "Ok crazy maybe you didn't get the memo but that's normal and part of the university."

Dingbat Liberal professor: "I'm calling 911 twice a week anyhow!"

Lit partisan hack lefties: "SHE'S BRILLIANT! That's how things should be done everywhere. "

God, you just can't get into your mind that each appearance can be something different from any previous one, can you? Each one is a new circumstance, and we have enough killing going on because of angry people who can easily get rapid-fire guns that each new iteration has to be seen from the standpoint of possibilities, not habit from the past. An ROTC cadet can go berserk as easily as anyone else. And you can't count of any gun you see being unloaded--or even benign--just because "that's the rule." It's not the fault of innocent people in the United States that they have to look at every instance this way--it's because our nation is idiotically letting the violence escalate by holding attitudes just as you are posting.

When you are informed that ROTC will be doing drills and you call 911 on them every week anyhow, you're just being a hysterical attention seeking clown. One so massively childish it's largely counter productive to any potentially positive message against weapons on campus she might try to push.

There is no middle on this should she insist on continuing to call 911 every time ROTC does their thing, she's wrong.

She knows they are there, the university and police have informed her of their presence and activities making it HER responsibility as a staff member of the university to know what the fuck a uniformed cadet looks like as not to burden the public emergency services with her willful stupidity and childish behavior, potentially endangering people in real trouble.

If she is so terrified of guns she can't be bothered to not be a hysterical nuisance about the fact that ROTC is around she should look for a job at a university that doesn't host a military element.

It's just that simple.

it's because our nation is idiotically letting the violence escalate by holding attitudes just as you are posting.

What attitude is that exactly?

Well guess what? 911 dispatchers expect to hear from childish people, and children too. They're trained that way.

Yea and that's why they didn't hang her out to dry this round. Now she knows, so if she keeps it up they will eventually loose their patience with the professor who cries wolf every week or even 2x a week just to be an asshat about it.

Does she have a valid argument to get guns off campus?

Sure, but calling 911 on ROTC every time you see them is the WRONG way to go about making that argument.

Anyone who gives 2 pumps of rat shit about gun control progress in the US should be condemning this kind of stupid shit.

You'd think someone who pretends to have worked for the CIA would have know about different types of weapons. Then again these people overthrow countries in the name of democracy and think selling drugs in your own country is a great way to fiance an illegal war. Enough about sr71plt though...

This idiot woman is trying to prove a point. Fine but by calling the police every week they'll grow complacent with responding. After responding to an active shooter that's just young people training they'll get bored. They'll talk to the teach who will probably remain stubborn unless she's charged with something. So if go forbid a something actually happens on campus it's the bitch who cried active shooter. The police will arrive ready to take a report not for a fight. It's kind of like pulling the fire alarm every time someone is smoking because you think they could burn the building down.

Expensive idiotic logic.

WTF? Restaurant parking lots are gun stores?

When you go to the grocery store to you go stand around in the Ace Hardware parking lot looking for food?

So why shouldn't she call 911 every time she's an armed LEO on campus?
You still haven't addressed this question.

Your logic is on the same level as Fox news getting bent out of shape because the Memphis airport let them park at passenger pickup for 30 minutes.
Because no terrorist would ever just drive up and detonate a bomb, they'd always sit around for a while. So as long as we prevent people sitting there for more than 10 minutes we're safe.
