I really enjoyed it too. Husband has gotten round to reading it and today he is tired because he couldn't put it down for reasonable sleep.

I picked up a copy of Talisman yesterday at my favorite coffee shop/used book store. It was practically starting at me when I walked in so it was meant to be. I've never read it and think I'll take a Dark Tower break to indulge another adventure.

And now I have another book to add to my reading list!

Yeah I'll be picking up my copy this morning! The Talisman is a classic for sure. They also wrote a sequel called Black House. And there's rumors that before Peter Straub passed away that he sent SK notes for a 3rd novel.

Hi all!
I'm excited to get the new book, which I'll probably order on Kindle. I haven't read any of his short stories in forever!
I just started Fairy Tale a couple days ago. I'm up to Chapter 3. So far it's keeping my interest pretty good.

Notice that some are reading the Dark Tower series. Never could get into it before but perhaps I'll try again before the end of summer.

I just finished Holly and was overall pretty disappointed in it. I felt it was predictable from the get go and didn’t really build. Holly was a tired a character piece, and I couldn’t like truly enjoy her. It just became repetitive and stale quickly for me.

She didn’t do that much for me either? Enough so that I wasn’t interested in reading Holly. But I feel like she nibbled at him and he needed to tell her story
