Getting hanging and 500 errors story side / Control Panel

Star Wars? Big fangirl. Know the lore (outside of all the animated series). But Star Trek? No so much.
Also big on Star Wars, including animated series. Seriously Clone Wars is pretty good, especially those last 4 episodes; some of the best TV I've ever seen. And Maul is rocking it right now.

Not really a big Trekkie, just couldn't get into it. But even I know the Borg, and I can't name more than... 8 Star Trek characters, and have seen maybe a grand total of 4 or 5 episodes. Almost all of my knowledge comes from outside the show, and amounts to such a tiny drop in the bucket of actual Star Trek lore.

Stay tuned for my BDSM Geek Pride story, in which I tie Emily up and make her binge watch Star Trek: the Next Generation!

"Is okay Em, just relax. It gets really good halfway through Season Two, you just need to get through like 27 kind of bad episodes..."

"Oh God no! Bagleth! Bathlet? Shit, what was the safe word..."

"It's Bat'leth, Miss Emily. It's not my fault you can't speak Klingon."

Then we can get her to binge Doctor Who after that, yeah?

"Don't worry, NuWho gets better after the farting aliens trying to start WWIII."

I know that’s Patrick Stewart. Is this like a Star Trek thing 🤷‍♀️?
Wikipedia (I'm lazy):
Assimilation is the process by which the Borg integrate beings, cultures, and technology into the Collective. "You will be assimilated" is one of the few on-screen phrases employed by the Borg when communicating with other species. The Borg are portrayed as having found and assimilated thousands of species and billions to trillions of individual life-forms throughout the galaxy. The Borg designate each species with a number assigned to them upon first contact, humanity being "Species 5618".

When first introduced, the Borg are said to be more interested in assimilating technology than people, roaming the universe as single-minded marauders assimilating starships, planets, and entire societies to collect new technology. They are discriminating in this area, finding certain races, for example the Kazon, to be technologically inferior and unworthy of assimilation. The Borg then place the assimilated children into maturation chambers to quickly and fully grow them into mature drones.

In their second appearance, "The Best of Both Worlds", they capture and assimilate Captain Jean-Luc Picard into the Collective, creating Locutus of Borg (meaning "he who has spoken", in Latin).

I’m sure that’s funny if I had the context…

The Latin I got… the rest… 🤷‍♀️?

Do they have light sabers at all?

As ever, it sucks big time for anyone whose story published today. You often just get one day to get views and it’s not like the site will give you back the lost hours of exposure tomorrow. I know this place is free for us, but they make money out of it. Maybe some investment is warranted.
And of course, I did have a story published yesterday. At least it wasn't for a comp or event or anything, but it is a little 'frustrating' shall we say. I just hope it gets a slow burn of reads from people finding it through tags, from other stories, etc. And at least it was something I didn't spend months polishing and building over tens of thousands of words - it was a simple stroker that I dashed off over about 4 days as a break from the big stuff I really would be peeved at having sink due to a site outtage.

Maul, is amazing. Thinking the people at Star Wars need to just stay with animation for a while. Bad Batch was great, too.

I was so, so, so stoked when they brought Maul back for Clone Wars. The evolution of his character and the amount of nuance and his overall character arc are probably some of the best in Star Wars. Sam Witwer does such a phenomenal job as Maul.

So, since Saturday, I've seen a marked change with some of the score manipulation that has been happening to my stories. My most recent was bombarded with low scores right off the bat and then gamely began climbing upward, got a big boost, and my story that has been repeatedly kicked out of the top-ten-all-time down to about 45, is now at 11.
I feel they have been running sweeps since Sat.
