I started way back in 2009 when i wrote erotica. then i left and found another forum which had a chat forum. like the playground. i was there for a few years until it got too much and i returned to Lit, discovering there was a similar chat forum.

I chatted on there as OD and now as OUJ...I found three true loves on there, one of which i still have!

I looked back through this thread, which was started some 14 years ago it looks like. Think about that folks! 14 years.

So, when I was young (fuck...), in my late 20's, I was a regular reader at alt.sex.stories

Now for those of you who are either going, "ohhh...I'll go search that" or "what the fuck, don't you need a .com and an @?" This was the precursor to the WWW. It was called usenet. (Technically, it was the web at the time, but the protocol was not http, but rather a simpler text protocol, no pictures...yeah, I know - I'm fuckin' old).

Well, usenet, became www and while for a brief time, alt.sex.stories became a web page, it fell apart. However, someone there suggested that I look at Lit. That must have been around 2002 or 2003 or so. For about five years, I was just reading (as I had done before on usenet). Although as the web had progressed, obviously I'd found "picture site" (speeds were slow in the early 2000's video was OK).

I had started writing my own stuff well before 2000, but around 2003/2004 I started writing more and finally around 2008 I decided...well, maybe I'd like to submit something. But I was kind of scared, etc, so I joined the "author discussion boards" (bwahahahaha...sure). Two things happened. First, I met people. Second, I started sharing my stories and submitting stuff.

And that's how I ended up here. And now...I can't leave....

I was bored one morning in 2004, I googled 'porn' for stories (perhaps google wasn't even the search engine back then ...) ... vids weren't big yet ... and so I was more likely horny rather than bored: most of the best links were from Literotica.

Then I found out about the message board totally by chance: it seemed so taboo then to actually communicate with other ... perverts

I found Lit by accident, the story board first. I thought the stories where amusing to start with but like everything else started to get a bit samie . (not sure if I've spelt that right, ) anyhow. I went snooping around like one does and found the forum. I must have lurked around for about six months or so thinking i was to shy to do anything like that! And low, here i am doing ! Who'd have thunk ! As for the joining of Lit, it was one of those "Good idea at the time "things . I've met some amazing people here both in the positive and the negative sense. Christmas of last year i had the good fortune to meet the man who very quickly became my best friend. Now he's more than that. A lot more. If I live to be a thousand years old I will never forget him nor will I ever stop loving him
