I’m so old I remember…

I remember the blackout of 77. Looking towards NYC the sky was an eerie purple with lightning strikes.
We went up to the city to help a friend who had an apartment full of aquariums. The fish were tropical and it was stiflingly hot in his apartment, so heat wasn't the issue...oxygen was. We spent all night dipping glasses into the aquariums and pouring the water back in from a foot or two above to oxygenate the water.

I remember when Page 3 girls were seen as minor celebrities. Before we were told it objectified women.

I’m so old that I remember when single beds where made for 2 and double beds for 4 or 5 lol

I’m so old I remember when phones had cords, you had no idea who was calling, and you could get a busy signal.

I had a friend in middle school who was only allowed to use AOL for half an hour a week. Her mom was so stingy that she only paid for two hours of AOL each week. The mom got one hour and her two daughters got a measly half an hour each.
