You would have got around to writing a novel at some point, without me introducing you to NaNoWriMo (which really must take all the credit). I was merely the catalyst that got you writing one sooner rather than later.

I can't think of a better excuse to visit the States than to attend Colly's first public book signing, in NYC.

I am so so very close...

I just don't know what else to do with this damn story though. I may have to go within* and pad it out in some other places. Then again, after I figure out how this thing is going to end and write that up- maybe I'll be up to my limit. But I really don't know how I plan on ending it.

CONGRATS TO ALL

Well done all of you who've finished and keep going to those closing on the target.

I've not been around too much RL slowing the writing and taking up too much of the time I'd have otherwise spent on AH.

Arose early yesterday to push my Nano count over 50k - finished at 52432 with the novel word count just under 145k - not bad from a start on 27th September.
Figure I have still 10-12k left to finsh the story, might get done this weekend and plans for the weekend have collapsed, then again we're going to an Arts do tonight that starts at 10.00pm through to 5.00am.

Anyway hit the Nano target yesterday and went to the beach, me the wife, and half a dozen seagulls, we had a skinny dip and lay on the sand in tempertures around 20-22C. Not a bad day!

Sorry not to have been of more support especially as I know, from last year, what a wonderful sense of achievement and fulfillment NaNo can bring.
