Our cat made her first kill... she left a mouse for my niece to find. Positive side - I didn't have to see it!

I don’t know why this reminded me, but once our cat brought a mouse inside. It was early morning and I was just about to eat breakfast. I look down and there is a mouse and the cat. At first I thought fuck, how am I gonna get this mouse out. Then it clicked. I patiently waited for the cat to pick up the mouse with her mouth.

That was my opportunity. I picked the cat up with the mouse in her mouth and threw them both into the garage

I'm a Cardinals fan and it still boggles the mind that the Browns might have stayed in St. Louis if the original plan to move the Cardinals to Houston came to be.

Like they always said, St. Louis was "first in shoes, first in booze, and last in the American League."

Too bad the Cardinals don't leave Arizona. Not sure why but ever since they left ASU & got their own stadium . . . all the games are sell outs. Depending who they play (Dallas, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, & more), over half the fans are for the visiting teams . . . They Cards have sucked for so long. They should get rid of them because of it. Then they can become a better team. I've never been a Cards fan.

My Eloise is an indoor cat. Still, I think if she got out, she'd be running the neighborhood like a thug.

Anyhoodle, hubby was replacing the sliding glass doors to our den and he put up a tarp overnight. I guess at some point a mouse got in and Eloise snatched it up. I woke up to a half eaten carcass right in the middle of the dining table.

I swear I wanted to burn the table. There was blood spots all over it and I was thinking just how much blood did that stupid mouse have?!

I still shiver thinking about it!

I'll sound like a complete wuss for this but at least 10 years ago I remember a mouse shredding one of my uniform shirts in my dryer and spending the next 30 seconds pointing at the mouse, until my cat figured out what it was and heroically jumped in and grabbed it, then growled at me when I lifted her out, I think she thought I'd try to take it off her, God bless that cat

When I bought a house many years ago, it hadn’t been lived in for over a year. I went into the cellar and saw about 50 mice running around on the foundation ledge. I said, “Run to the light Carol Anne” in case one of them was named Carol Anne.
