That would be MacPherson. But I could wear Maclaren as well (earned as a Scout Leader, believe it or not). Or Maple Leaf (Canadian), or Ontario. My town has one but I think its ugly (purples mostly).

I don’t own a Utilikilt. I’d like to get one with cargo pockets but most of them feel a little heavier than I like.

The light brown one in the pic is made by Stumptown Kilts, it’s a little lighter - more like wearing pants compared to jeans. . I’ve also got a black one that can be more formal by American Kilts.

I’ve also got my eye on one that’s royal blue and black tartan.

Unless they changed the design or there's a different style, that snaps are the only thing keeping it on (though quite well) is a point of mild concern in that anyone that knows can just grab the overlapping edge and pop it off. Using a belt is highly advised for such reasons.

That said... The wife really likes it when I rip it off in one swift move. I think it's the sound of the snaps

I used to when we were more social and lived in the city. Not so much now that we are but simple country folk.

I never really think about it.

I'm satisfied with the fit. I've worn it for a few days doing shop projects. Pretty soon I'll add a few more pockets to the ones that are sewn on.
