Oh me too, honey! Me too!Sam!
Pick ya family tartan.Thats six months away...but yes, I promise...I need to settle on a Tartan...
That would be MacPherson. But I could wear Maclaren as well (earned as a Scout Leader, believe it or not). Or Maple Leaf (Canadian), or Ontario. My town has one but I think its ugly (purples mostly).Pick ya family tartan.
If no. Maybe a UtilaKilt
My tartan goes back to 1700s.That would be MacPherson. But I could wear Maclaren as well (earned as a Scout Leader, believe it or not). Or Maple Leaf (Canadian), or Ontario. My town has one but I think its ugly (purples mostly).
Is that a utilikilt?
Is that a utilikilt?
They are rather heavy but durable. I really have nothing else to compare it to though. Unless they changed the design or there's a different style, that snaps are the only thing keeping it on (though quite well) is a point of mild concern in that anyone that knows can just grab the overlapping edge and pop it off. Using a belt is highly advised for such reasons.I don’t own a Utilikilt. I’d like to get one with cargo pockets but most of them feel a little heavier than I like.
The light brown one in the pic is made by Stumptown Kilts, it’s a little lighter - more like wearing pants compared to jeans. . I’ve also got a black one that can be more formal by American Kilts.
I’ve also got my eye on one that’s royal blue and black tartan.
This is a tantalizing new tidbit of information about you, y.They are rather heavy but durable. I really have nothing else to compare it to though. That said... The wife really likes it when I rip it off in one swift move. I think it's the sound of the snaps

I used to when we were more social and lived in the city. Not so much now that we are but simple country folk.Do you wear your kilt out and about much?
I’m usually in places where it’s not completely uncommon, so not too many surprises, but it’s fun to see the occasional flustered admirer.
I get a lot of guys asking where I got it - it reminds me of those old “Dockers” commercials where a guy is awkwardly checking out another guy’s ass. “Nice pants”
Not sure if I understand the question.Just Scotsmen’s pics here?
Where do “kilts” from other countries get their attention?
