But let me ask you: are they being rude? More importantly, do you care if you post and are ignored?

Internet rudeness is more the norm now? So we should just accept it? Its more polite to respond to someone who has taken the time to say anything to you at all. Thats all. Why make such a take issue of it. Go on and spread the common internet rudeness if thats what you want. Or take the high road and respond when you can, its friendlier, even if its just to say fuck off. I think I've recieved that a time or two. Its a choice, don't get bent out of shape about it. Of course I like how your shape is bent. No one will be perfect at it. But in general, its obvious if you are or not. Have an excellent day Tek. Nice buns, btw

Sometimes folks don't respond because they know that the other person is just posting in order to start some sort of debate and/or argument, other times people don't respond because they simply have a life and can't post back and forth doing the whole "goodbye-have a good day" on every thread they were on and then go back to make sure someone responded back to say "goodbye-you have a good day too. See you when you get back, okay?"

It's rude if you take it personal, it's not rude if you didn't mean to make it personal.

That's a comment I agree with. However, let me ask you this: can I discern the other person's motive? I honestly can't, unless they make it explicit (<offtopic>and, this being lit, it can get very explicit </offtopic>). I can only discern my own feelings....

It worked out wonderfully for a while then decided the faded words made it a little more work to read for those that were truly interested in understand what was written so reverted back. Thanks for your help though...and the reference.
