Rant and a question for lesbians

*hugs Tiffany* YOu're a gem.

Actually, it's done by the anime/manga artist Masamune Shiro. If you have seen Ghost in the Shell, then you would recognize his work.

thanks your a gem too babe.

also yeah i've seen ghost in a shell a bunch though i can't get into it because of the bad dub job on CN. same with naurto one piece and zatch bell if they weren't butched by dub jobs they might be enjoyable.

That's the beauty of DVDs. I watch them in Japanese with the subtitles. I REFUSE to listen to dub if I can help it.

*nods*

Hmmm Ghost In The Shell the first one rocked alot, and I have it on DVD. Have any of you two seen Patlabour 1 and 2 on DVD ? those are smashing great too. And neither of the three animes are bad in their dub. Or at least I like them.

i am an anime fan for sure and have been looking for a fellow female fan for long time well i've found a few but not as many as i would like.

I've been hooked for a few years. *laughs* I should've realized something was up when I found myself imagining a few things with Makoto Kino (Lita) from Sailor Moon. That was my first anime series. Since then, I've tried to watch what I can.

I would hardly say I was a "fan" but I remember watching Prince Planet when I was a kid. We called that art style "big eyed cartoons". Some kids in the neighbourhood liked them, some didn't. That was probably as artsy as anyone got in that part of town!

I will convert you one of these days Lezli. but anyway back to our lesbian rant!

I admit that I like threesomes as much as the next man, but people are individuals, and what works for me or some polyamorous woman doesn't necessarily work for others. Even bi girls are not necessarily into the group sex scene. Some just prefer it one-on-one. Same with some guys. That's their right.

In my open relationship, we can each do it with other people, as long as protection is used and we inform each other. I don't mind having a threesome, but the main issues for me are honesty and fairness (i.e. no double standards). If my girl wants a little bi fun with a woman on a one-on-one basis, I'll understand, just as I would expect her to understand if I want a little one-on-one action myself. Some people, even in a poly setting, might not be in an orgy kind of mood at the moment. As long as she isn't trying to impose a double standard and neither am I, it's cool.

If a woman tells me that she is a lesbian, I take her at her word and respect that. I know where I stand with her and we can both, hopefully, relax and enjoy each other's company on a platonic basis. We might even flirt a little, but we both know that it is a bit tongue-in-cheek. I know that at the end of the day, she is gay, and that no man could change her sexuality, including me. I have several lesbian friends with whom I have such a friendship, which pleases me, because it demonstrates that I don't need to fuck any particular woman to be happy. I can keep it in my pants long enough to chill and just be a good friend. I'm proud of that fact.

The same principle operates with me and a woman (or man, for that matter) who is in a monogamous relationship. I respect their right to live that way and I don't try to seduce either partner (or both). I might write stories about that sort of thing, but that's fiction, not reality.

This business of trying to convince someone that he or she is not gay because you want to sleep with that person is just plain sick. It's a very selfish act and shows a lack of true friendship. On behalf of my entire sex, let me just reiterate what Wolf said: we're not all like that. We regret that you met a substandard representative of our sex. :rose:

You're welcum. Thanks for reading it. I try to speak my mind and tell it how I see it. Luckily, I have a fairly high IQ. :D

Thank you for your input, Severus. It's good to see that some men out there can respect what a woman says and keep the boundaries that's laid.

Ur welcum. :rose: I find that it works best to take people at their word, unless they give me reason to think otherwise. If people come out to me, male or female, I accept it as I would want them to accept my bisexuality.

Well, I don´t need any stupid dumb test, to know that I have a high IQ.

LOL. One can usually tell, can't they? For instance, if a guy sees a sign that says "Stop" and he wants to know what he should stop doing, he ain't exactly Einstein. :D

Listen up, one of the most intelligent people in Denmark by the name of Holger Beck Nielsen, has the same blessing/curse as me. And neither of us are stupid, and we both hate IQ tests.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Holger_Bech_Nielsen

So I just get a bit pissed when somebody brags about his or hers IQ.

That is all. perhaps my English verbal, and spoken skills aren´t on par with yours. But the IQ shit is to me someones pacifier.

As I have said , IQ tests doesn´t do squat, it is what you are using your iq to, that matters.

Hey, no offense intended. It was all tongue-in-cheek, anyway. ;)

This may sound blunt or (hopefully not) offensive to some, but I've stopped watching straight sex porn with fairly attractive people fucking each other a long time ago and my collection and appreciation of lesbian sex has grown a lot since.
I think one of the reasons why lesbian porn or just two lesbians making out or whatever in general turns me on is the inaccessebility (I'm a guy) of it. Somehow most of the lesbian porn seems more 'real' to me. Ok, a woman can fake an orgasm and a man in general cannot, but in order to have sex as a woman with another woman it's definately not putting object A into slot B.

Anyway, for those who know Dungeons and Dragons: there is an item called Belt of Gender changing. In a forum that came with a webcomic someone askes the question: What would you do if you'd wear such an item? Of course, most of the guys answered: lesbian sex!
It's true that a lot of guys like to watch lesbian porn, because it shows them something they can never achieve and maybe some time may see but never experience it themselves.

I wish I had lesbian friends (or just friends, for that matter)...

DarkBee: a twist of that belt, is a gurtle of giant strength, with a curse of genderchange. Meaning the first time, you are a giant female, second time you are a giant female for good, if you don´t either do a limited wish spell, or remove curse on the gurtle. Before the second time.

Anyway, I wasn't trying to be arrogant about the whole IQ issue. Just trying to make a point. Shouldn't have included that bit, because it distracted from the main idea.

:) It's okay. That's the difficult thing about writing responses. You think they sound one way but to another, they sound completely different.

Thanks....Texas, too, huh? Ain't exactly easy, is it, being "other" down here....a great state, don't get me wrong....but the drawback is that whole "Bible Belt" thing.
