Sad news... Mrs. H....

A shining light has passed from our lives with the passing of Kate .
She was a lovely Lady who always had a kind word and a smile .
RIP Angel

I'm sorry to hear this news. Such a lovely lady who had a great deal of faith in people. My condolences and good wishes to her family. A bright spot here at Lit has been extinguished.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Mrs H's passing.......... She was always nice, friendly and outgoing. :( I know was a true friend to many and she will be greatly missed.......

Condolences to her family

What can you say that hasn't already been said about such a genuine, lovely person?

I don't normally get involved with pm's etc on message boards, but Kate was one of the few people that I did.

My condolances to your family Kate, the earth is a poorer place for your passing.

Adding to the "what else can be said" sentiment

I haven't been on for a very long time, but reading about Mrs. H's passing made me want to reach out to all my Litster friends who knew her better than I and are hurting now.

Mrs. H was a true lady, one of the few people with whom you talked to on here and you left with the impression that she was truely genuine. The kindness and humor that she emitted in her posts and PM's were real.

She would love the fact that she is responsible for many of us who have wondered off now having a reason to come together once again, even if it is to ease each other's pain.

Thank you Mrs. H. :rose: Rest Well.

Wow, that's terrible, terrible news. Mrs. H was one of the people I truly enjoyed chatting with. She was sweet, genuine and always willing to lend an ear. I know she loved her kids with everything she had and she seemed like a wonderful person. She'll truly be missed.:rose::rose::rose:

Sorry to hear about Mrs H.

She was a lady so full of love of life....as she wrote so well in her threads....A Love that will be so sadly missed....Kisses sweet Lady...your love shall alway be found in the words of each post on Lit.:rose::kiss:

I just saw this today. Its rather... it leaves one with no adequate words. I never knew her well, but posted beside her for a long while. Years in a few different locations. I never failed to perv at her pics, even while I might disagree with her point of view. I'll say this much, she never seemed to attack me for mine.

Katherine.......oh baby,

To everyone here, ...........the measure of Katherine's struggle for life was nothing short of incredible. She had been gravely ill since December of 2009 and it only got worse as time went on. There were times when it seemed things were going to be all right, then something else would happen. She lived well. It was a privelege to know her, and be as close to her as I was. We both knew this was inevitable though we spoke of it only once. Our history together was beautiful, yet complicated, though it started off simply enough. I haven't gone a day without her in my thoughts and prayers. I am glad she was a great friend and love to you all. In the end, all rivers reach the sea. I pray that she rests peacefully.

I want you all to know how much her being, here, on Lit meant to her. You people. You gave her life as she could live. You broadened her world beyond the confines of her home. Gave her an outlet of interest, love, and care beyond her immediate home, where she was bound to through much of her illness. Please feel good about that. It meant more than you'll ever realize.

She'd be a little peeved that I told you all this stuff, but then, you folks deserve to know. She didn't really want anyone to know she was in such poor health. She never wanted to be identified as the sick girl. Only just as you knew her. Beautiful, smart, sassy, loyal, fun and sexy, ( among other things )

I know I am late in sending any sort of posting on this, I didn't know until yesterday afternoon. Thank you Vampi.

Good night baby

I only exchanged a few messages with Mrs. H, but she always had the most incredible energy and wonderful things to say. It's an incredibly sad time, and I wish her family all the best. You are in my prayers, Mrs. H.

I'm so sad to know this news. She truly was a friend to all.

My condolences to all who love her.:rose:

Condolences to her family, children, and to her true friends here on Lit. I did not have the pleasure of knowing her, just a few exchanges months ago when she took time to help me post a new avatar. A thoughtful woman with a tremendous amount of class...:rose: :(

So many of you have said it far better than I ever could. To me, she was what we all hope to be here - genuine, playful, and cherished by those who knew her.

She will be missed, always cherished, and never forgotten.

Thank you for everything, MrsH.
