I would suggest that all of us owe kindness to anyone who is nice to us, even if that kindness is to politely decline niceties that exceed what is reasonable for the relationship.

If a stranger holds the door for you, say thank you.

If a friend brings a coffee, do the same.

But if the gift or gesture makes you uncomfortable, let the other know it is either not expected or not appropriate.

I think half and half would be 6% milk fat? Something like that. I only put about a tablespoon. But, I am weird. Putting milk in tea is a British thing I think. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone please. Lol

2%, 1% or FatFree milk is healthier and more popular now. But when I was a kid whole(4%) was used allllll the time.

Totally … I feel like, if a guy is nice to me.. that’s just basic human decency to be kind.

and there are women out there who utilize the nice men in exchange for things and lead them on.. which is not ok.

And I’ve also experienced men who have expected romantic feelings from me when I was just being friendly … which was not ok.
***edit on this last point … it’s ok for someone to have non-reciprocal feelings … like, not everyone I like will like me back. But if I’ve indicated that I am not interested in anything but friendship and then to continue to be sexual / romantic towards me is not ok.

As someone once put it, you are never in the "friend zone" if you are actually a friend. That's only your hell if you think you deserve more and you are just there to try to get someone to give you more. (RomComs are fun, but they give the worst life advice.)

Soda has less caffeine than coffee, and I can drink about 1 can or small glass of it with food without too many consequences. 2 cans/glasses or one of those giant theater / fast food cups of caffeinated soda will make me feel like death.

But there are like a bajillion different types of tea! My favorite right now is a spicy ginger/cinnamon/cardamom blend!

You will not convert me to a tea-drinker: I’ve hated it all my life. Chai lattes are tolerable only because of the latte components, but would be better as any other kind of latte.
