I don’t think there much going back and forth. I think we were both kinda at peace with it. We’d been apart often more than we were together per year, sometimes it was more like roomates, a lot of individual hyper independence. All came together.
We still live together for the kids. Mainly because after his retirement, this is the first one our kiddos have had him home for any length of time and our situation shouldn’t take that from them.
I’d say at least for me, if there was any back or forth, there’s something that can be done, fixed, worked on, etc. I wouldn’t have moved forward if there was anything to hesitate over.
