I also went ahead and added some new pics in my pic thread.

My Gators came out victorious yesterday, but honestly they should have crushed Miami. I won't go into a deep analysis (although I very well could) but hopefully the Rays and Bucs winning today will make me feel better. Since my dad was visiting though he got to sleep in my bed and I slept on the broken futon downstairs, and not particularly well.

Today I shaved my pubic hair so it's mostly gone. I have to say though it's rather difficult since there's hair mingled in with the delicate equipment. There has to be a better way to do this lol. I do like the way it looks/feels though.

So the chickens in the coupe my dad built are finally laying eggs. They roam around a lot on weekends and are pretty well taken care of, so I imagine the eggs should be pretty good.

The question is, wht is there I can make that's really good takes advantage of fresh eggs.

Any suggestions?

Oh man, my aunt has chickens and the eggs are the tastiest eggs ever- the yolks are almost orange.

I like them for breakfast- or really any meal- in an omelette

Well I've finally found a good use for all the chicken eggs we're getting from the chickens who are making a ruckus in the backyard as I type. I've made a few scrambles with cheese, bacon, and whatever else I feel like. The main thing I've been using the eggs for is to make fresh pasta.

The nice thing about making pasta is it really isn't all that hard, and it's pretty cheap, but it takes a lot of time to do. Well time is something I've had too much of lately and so I've made pasta three or so times now with very good results. Last monday I made fettucine with chicken and a sauce made from basil and sun-dried tomatoes (probably the best thing I've ever cooked), and last night I made spinach and ricotta ravioli - which were a huge pain in the ass but at least now I know how to do it and what I can do bette next time.

There's a girl I've been talking too lately and she mentioned how she loves pasta, but then said her favorite restaurant is Olive Garden - which made me gag a little. I'm thinking I might dry out some pasta the next time I make some to see if she can tell the difference.

I think I might try making a soufflé here soon.
