Tallulah's Thread. Fuck yeah.

you can prop doors open with them, use them as projectiles at wayward hoards.

I guess if you get one soggy enough you can do ‘things’ with it.

Soggy. What a nauseating word. I don't think there's anything that can be described as soggy that also sounds appealing.

(I realise I'm likely poking the bear with a soggy stick to prove me wrong :p)

It’s shocking that you’re poking the bear. Soggy stick, firm stick, big stick, or one of those special ‘sticks’ you showed me (was that your special stick?!) …

Perhaps only when discussing a delicious panzanella and that's a stretch.

Soggy Panzanella?

Which is worse, soggy or moist? Why are words about wet things so gross?
For me, soggy is worse. Soggy implies it so wet that it's fat-drop dripping and the bulk of the item can easily turn into a mushy state.
Moist is damp, it may be spongy but not mushy. Nowhere near as bad.

And I know, right? Just say wet. Keep it wet. Wet is good.

the whole point is that the bread is soggy...

It does seem nice in here.
There is a certain amount of 'attractiveness' knowing that anything can happen...

"Hello all you fine people... and the others as well."

*I lean back and put my feet up, crossing them at the ankles. Sipping at a hot cup of coffee.*

But is it? Is it not supposed to be eaten just as it turns damp? Like cornflakes. You let them get the tiniest bit soft then scoff before the soggy arrives.

The only time soggy bread is acceptable is if it’s been dipped in soup or in a bread & butter pudding.
WHAT??? Dipped in soup then eaten - not given time to get soggy???!!!! My god!

And bread and butter pudding is cooked to the point where it's taken on a form beyond soggy. It's more set into its own form as a whole dish by then (or it should be!).
