We generally get ice along with our snow so people always try and drive to fast for road conditions.
When people from northern states visit or relocate to this region they laugh at our winter weather patterns. Then they get out in it and find out its a different kind of snow/ice mix and they get stuck or crash.

We got about two feet of snow in 24 hours. Tve whole country has shut down...
