Note to @knowhow7890. This is an open forum. People are open to share as much or as little as they choose. Some people keep their profiles private because, believe it or not, there are some creepers here that think that because a woman posts here, that gives them some sense of entitlement. They should be allowed to respond in the forums without feeling like they owe anyone the privilege of delving too much. Should they not? My advice would be to send a respectful message to them and ask nicely if they are open to talking. Calling them out on the boards is juvenile and ultimately self defeating. Just my opinion.

I appreciate that your privacy is important and maybe a block function would be good for limiting undesirables, but the appeal of Lit over the years to me was it's an open forum. It's kind of losing the point if you make your profile completely hidden to all from the start. Just my thoughts.

If the point is just to hang out here, I don't see why a profile would be necessary. You don't see people hanging out in clubs with profiles plastered on their foreheads, yes?

Oh... I'm not sure you realise how creepy that sounds. It's like going up to a random stranger and putting your face right in their chest so you could have a closer look at what they have on display.
