WORDS WOMEN USE

******************************

FINE

This is the word women use to end an argument when they feel they are right and you need to shut up. Never use "fine" to describe how a woman looks - this will cause you to have one of those arguments.

FIVE MINUTES

This is half an hour. It is equivalent to the five minutes that your football game is going to last before you take out the trash, so it's an even trade.

NOTHING

This means "something," and you should be on your toes. "Nothing" is usually used to describe the feeling a woman has of wanting to turn you inside out, upside down, and backwards. "Nothing" usually signifies an argument that will last "Five Minutes" and end with "Fine"

GO AHEAD (With Raised Eyebrows! )

This is a dare. One that will result in a woman getting upset over "Nothing" and will end with the word "Fine"

GO AHEAD (Normal Eyebrows)

This means "I give up" or "do what you want because I don't care" You will get a "Raised Eyebrow Go Ahead" in just a few minutes, followed by "Nothing" and "Fine" and she will talk to you in about "Five Minutes" when she cools off.

LOUD SIGH

This is not actually a word, but is a nonverbal statement often misunderstood by men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot at that moment, and wonders why she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over "Nothing"

SOFT SIGH

Again, not a word, but a nonverbal statement. "Soft Sighs" mean that she is content. Your best bet is to not move or breathe, and she will stay content.

THAT'S OKAY

This is one of the most dangerous statements that a woman can make to a man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before paying you back for whatever it is that you have done. "That's Okay" is often used with the word "Fine" and in conjunction with a "Raised Eyebrow."

GO AHEAD!

At some point in the near future, you are going to be in some mighty big trouble.

PLEASE DO

This is not a statement, it is an offer. A woman is giving you the chance to come up with whatever excuse or reason you have for doing whatever it is that you have done. You have a fair chance with the truth, so be careful and you shouldn't get a "That's Okay"

THANKS

A woman is thanking you. Do not! Faint. Just say you're welcome.

THANKS A LOT

This is much different from "Thanks." A woman will say, "Thanks A Lot" when she is really ticked off at you. It signifies that you have offended her in some callous way, and will be followed by the "Loud Sigh." Be careful not to ask what is wrong after the "Loud Sigh," as she will only tell you "Nothing"

Send this to the men you know to warn them about future arguments they can avoid if they remember the terminology!

And send it to your women friends to give them a good laugh!

Good morning {{{{{{{{{{Mary}}}}}}}}}}}

Hope things are going well for you. Thanks for the definitions. Think they should be sent to my male friends to. I am so glad you posted them here.

Have a marvelous Sunday!!!

Have you learned how to do the transfers yet? It is really easy to do. The transfer paper is expensive but other than that it really is a nice way to do personalized gifts for friends.
Hello Jaybird.....Hope all is well with you.....:D

Hey Frenchie

Here is a little inspirational for all......

Food for thought.....................

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS,
HE LIVED ALL ALONE,
IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF
PLASTER AND STONE.

I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY
WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE,
AND TO SEE JUST WHO
IN THIS HOME DID LIVE.

I LOOKED ALL ABOUT,
A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE,
NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS,
NOT EVEN A TREE.

NO STOCKING BY MANTLE,
JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND,
ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES
OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.

WITH MEDALS AND BADGES,
AWARDS OF ALL KINDS,
A SOBER THOUGHT
CAME THROUGH MY MIND.

FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT,
IT WAS DARK AND DREARY,
I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER,
ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY.

THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING,
SILENT, ALONE,
CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR
IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME.

THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE,
THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER,
NOT HOW I PICTURED
A UNITED STATES SOLDIER.

WAS THIS THE HERO
OF WHOM I'D JUST READ?
CURLED UP ON A PONCHO,
THE FLOOR FOR A BED?

I REALIZED THE FAMILIES
THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT,
OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS
WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT.

SOON ROUND THE WORLD,
THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY,
AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE
A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY.

THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM
EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR,
BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS,
LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE.

I COULDN'T HELP WONDER
HOW MANY LAY ALONE,
ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE
IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME.

THE VERY THOUGHT
BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE,
I DROPPED TO MY KNEES
AND STARTED TO CRY.

THE SOLDIER AWAKENED
AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE,
"SANTA DON'T CRY,
THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;

I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM,
I DON'T ASK FOR MORE,
MY LIFE IS MY GOD,
MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS."

THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER
AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP,
I COULDN'T CONTROL IT,
I CONTINUED TO WEEP.

I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS,
SO SILENT AND STILL
AND WE BOTH SHIVERED
FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL.

I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE
ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT,
THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR
SO WILLING TO FIGHT.

THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER,
WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE,
WHISPERED, "CARRY ON SANTA,
IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE."

ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH,
AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND,
AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT."

This poem was written by soldier in the Army. The
following
is his request. I think it is reasonable.....

PLEASE. Would you do me the kind favor of sending this to as many people as
you can? Christmas will be coming soon and some credit is due to our U.S.
service men and women for our being able to celebrate these
festivities.Let's try in this small way to pay a tiny bit of what we owe.
Make people stop and think of our heroes, living and dead, who sacrificed
themselves for us. Please, do your small

Hello to you all. A friend recommended that I try this thread where the people are friendly.

I brought one of those truth stranger than fiction things along with me. This has been all the current talk here in Columbus, Ohio.

The naked photographer of Central Ohio has been identified. Police spokeswoman, Sherry Mercurio says 32-year-old Stephen P-Linnen of Columbus is charged with public indecency and assault. He posted bond last night but was re-arrested this morning on a warrant from Gahanna police. Linnen is Deputy Legal Counsel for House Speaker Larry Householder. Linnen is on paid leave pending the outcome of the investigation. Police say Linnen was not wearing clothes when they arrested him yesterday. Police found a camera, stocking cap, and sunglasses stashed by a nearby garbage bin. Police then searched his apartment and found incriminating photographs. The so-called naked photographer has ambushed nearly 40 women in the Columbus area, wearing nothing but sunglasses and a cap. Police say he smiles and snaps photos of the women's shocked expressions.
Missing welcome to my thread.....I hope that you enjoy yourself.....I do like to have fun and we have some really good times in here....with all the jokes and things....:D

Centipede

A single guy decides life would be more fun if he had a pet.

So he went to the pet store and told the owner that he wanted to buy

an unusual pet. After some discussion, he finally bought a centipede,

(100-legged bug), which came in a little white box to use for his house.

He took the box back home, found a good location for the box, and decided he
would start off by taking his new pet to church with him. So he asked the
centipede in the box, "Would you like to go to church with me today, we will
have a good time."

But there was no answer from his new pet. This bothered him a bit, but he
waited a few minutes and then asked him again, "How about going to church
with me and receive blessings."

But again, there was no answer from his new friend and pet. So he waited a
few minutes more, thinking about the situation. He decided to ask him one
more time; this time putting his face up against the centipede's house and
shouting, "Hey, in there! Would you like to go to church with me and learn
about The Lord!"

A little voice came out of the box:..

"I heard you the first time! I'm putting on my shoes."

Have a blessed day!

Good Afternoon, thank you for the warm welcome Puddin36.

The screenname came about because of some medication that was missing for some of the animals where I work. It was almost insane to see a bunch of adults down on their hands and knees crawling around looking for pills.

MaryBears, I am so sorry to hear that you have that stomach virus. It swept thru here and I think 90% of the people that I know had it. A nasty virus it is.

Rest, drink plenty of fluids and something for the aches and pains is all the doctor could tell them.

Prayers to all and may you get well very quickly.
