The Redneck Playground

I saw Aquagal's post the other day and had to laugh because I have been to my fair share of Redneck Weddings. I also saw a conversation recently about how great state/county fairs are to people watch and I am a big fan of people watching. It made me think to start a thread about Rednecks. I found some old threads and then one on the GB but nothing current in the PG.

This thread will be dedicated to anything Redneck....All in good fun.

Redneck Girls and Country Boys
Redneck Events - Weddings, Tractor Pulls, Mud Wrestling
Redneck Food
Redneck Music

For the record....I was born and raised in Tennessee and have many relatives in Arkansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Florida.
Some of my kinfolk are very wholesome Southerners and others are about as dirty and Red as they come.

Please post your funny pics and stories. Real pics from your personal collection are strongly encouraged. I will dig some up myself to post shortly.
Oooh just in time. I am moving to an area with a redneck rep. It has lost alot of that over the years but there is still a bit. The rock station even came up with a redneck ditty about it. There are alot new areas which we are moving to one but there are still alot of old school trailor parks and bars. I am pissed the new strip club was shot down though as I was looking forward to not having to coming downtown to our regular club. Alot of the new area people want to get rid of the redneck ways. We are bringing our flannel jackets so we will be keeping a bit of redneck flag lying.

Being from a tiny podunk town in the South, I don't have much room to talk. But I do know a local farm kid who traded his fully paid (free and clear) trailer house for a beat up station wagon.

I told him he's a dumb fuck.

Some posts for the true spirit of this thread. Didn't we have the Olympics this year. What about the Redneck Games?

I've attended Redneck Games in the past with family.

Not quite to the extent you have pictured, but my cousins always seem to have quarter sticks or M-80s available to see who can go KABOOM the loudest. :D

Thanks for your posts...they are great!
