Trump

Clearly working? Whats working? that he has alienated large voting segments of the country?

The part where he's winning.

I'm fairly certain that Obama knew squat about foreign policy, you know he was a "community organizer", before he took office.... Obama needs to shut his yap, his foreign policy is what's wrong with his 8 years in office....

First he was a Senator and a state legislator before that. Second not having been in office doesn't mean you don't watch the news and do research most of us here do, and his foreign policy is not what's wrong with the last 8 years. Most of this is Bush fall out and some is just shit that happened.

I'd say Trump has more worldly experence than Obama did, in his two years as a Senator....and half of that was running for President

Contrary to popular belief Obama's time in Senate was not his first time in office. And Trump almost certainly has more world experience than Obama does. But he clearly doesn't know the politics of it. I'd be willing to put you in a room with Trump and bet on you to walk out having outclassed him on international politics. As opposed to knowing where to get a great steak in Pakistan.

Abraham Lincoln only had 2 years in the House of Representatives, as well as some time in the legislature, and he had failed to win the Senate seat in 1858-1859 in Illinois against Stephen A. Douglas, though he might have won if the Senate had been directly elected back then. Yet he turned out to be the Great Emancipator and helped to keep the country intact. By the way, that's the viewpoint of a former neo-Confederate nationalist (me) who has come full circle on the issue of the Civil War.

Don't be sure that Obama was necessarily too inexperienced. After all, he hasn't done that badly in office, either.

FDR's resume was relatively thin prior to his Governorship of New York, I might add. He had only been a state senator and Assistant Secretary of the Navy, as well as the vice-presidential nominee in 1920, on the same ticket with Governor James M. Cox of Ohio.

Trump trickster plans ‘days of rage’ at convention if GOP tries to ‘steal’ candidate’s nomination

A former adviser to GOP presidential front-runner Donald Trump is promising “days of rage” outside the GOP convention in Cleveland if the Republican Party tries to whisk the nomination away from Trump and give it to someone more palatable to the party.

According to Buzzfeed, Roger Stone — who either quit or was fired by the Trump campaign last August depending upon who is talking — is modeling his street actions after the violent protests outside the Democratic convention in Chicago in 1968.

Despite no longer having any official affiliation with the Trump campaign, Stone has remained one of the candidate’s biggest boosters.

Stone wrote, they will “will stage protests at hotels of state delegates of states supporting the BIG STEAL.”

“The Bush, Cruz, Rubio, Romney, Ryan, McConnell faction has united and is moving into high gear to steal the nomination from Trump,” Stone wrote in a column this week.

Accordingly, the Cleveland police department has been stocking up on riot gear — using a $50 million federal security grant — in anticipation of protests in the hot July weather both for and against the controversial candidate.

He gave Iran the nuke....The number of Americans on welfare has hit record highs, A record 20% of Americans were on food stamps in 2013, Our nation lost its AAA credit rating because Obama is spending so much money, not only was Cash for Clunkers a wasteful government program that “cost $1.4 million for every job it created and did little to reduce carbon emissions....

Or he is spending money Keynesian style and being forced to bailout major banks due to the ineptitude of the previous moronic regime and the crash which occurred at the beginning of his rule that he had no part of.

It's hardly the fault of a ruler who comes to power just as the entire world goes into recession. Nor can you blame them if the have to do what it takes to lift your so-called once great nation out of economic depression.

If you folk kept better control of your banks you save billions. Not to mention the horrendous costs of the 2nd Iraq War which did nothing but plunge the entire region into chaos.

Iran does not have the bomb. His deal stopped them for the time being. !0 years. That's two terms under Billy's wife and then you can blame what will probably be a Republican regime two years later. Unless in the 10 years further progress can be made to slow their acquisition of the bomb even more. Hell the theocracy in Iran may be out of power in 10 years and moderate ruling.

When did Iran get a nuke? Link, please.

Point taken, though his lead may be dwindling. He's actually behind in Wisconsin. If GOP voters reject him, that can't be blamed on the GOP elites.

He didn't give Iran the nuke. At all, and most still believe he delayed them from getting a nuke. He didn't of course because the CIA and Mossad agree Iran isn't actually working on the nuke. So he really did no more than you are now to prevent me from summoning Cthulu. Food stamps are up and have been increasing steadily. We could place blame on the REpublicans where it belongs but we'll the reality is Dems haven't done much to protect and promote unions or raise the minimum wage so yeah there's that.

We lost our AAA rating because Republicans decided to play chicken. It's not about Obama's spending at all.

Cash for Clunkers seems to have over all been a success as well. Seriously is anything you say related to the truth?

Standard and Poor downgraded us due to high debt and nearly not raising the debt ceiling, which significantly increased the risk of our defaulting on part or all of our payments on the national debt.

Why didn't we rush to raise the debt ceiling, as Republican President Ronald Reagan did repeatedly during his term of office? Because the Tea Party wanted to hold the President hostage and secure tax cuts for the rich to stay in place. That's why. Well, that and federal subsidies....

Germany got nukes eventually. No problem there.
USA gave (GAVE!) nuke technology to Iraq in the late 1950s -- the Atoms For Peace program IIRC -- and probably gave it to the Shah of Iran too, but he apparently lost it. Those clumsy Iranians...

I don't think technically Germany has nukes. The US may have them on their soil though. But Germany is one of the countries that could easily build one at anytime. Same up here. We don't have them but it's just a matter of assembling some.

Donald J. Trump Is the L. Ron Hubbard of Politics
The pair's mutual mantra: “Don't ever defend. Always attack.”
Is Donald Trump the new George Wallace? Silvio Berlusconi? Adolf Hitler?

Could be. But at least as much as a southern segregationist, rich pervert turned politico, or genocidal fascist, Trump resembles L. Ron Hubbard, founder of the pyramid-scheme-masquerading-as-religion known as Scientology.

Consider: both men are (or, in Hubbard’s case, were) narcissistic, autocratic, money-obsessed, pathological liars and would-be sexual conquerors who built business empires for the primary purpose of self-enrichment under glitz-drenched brands maintained by fraud and advanced by uncompromising litigiousness and occasional physical aggression against critics.
Are you clear with Tromp?

Germany is in NATO, and NATO has nukes on German soil.

Yeah, that does sound like Trump. Hubbard is said to have founded Scientology after a bet with Robert Heinlein that he could start his own religion. Trump was interviewed in the past and said that if he ran for President, he'd run as a Republican. Why? Because Republicans are more gullible, he admitted. Care to guess that he just decided to follow through? Maybe he has a bet going with Bill and Hillary, too? Or maybe a bet with Ross Perot or Warren Buffett or Bill Gates?

Heinlein created The Church Of All Worlds in Stranger In A Strange Land. Elron Hubba-Hubba started Smartology. I find TCOAW much more entertaining.

And I've said for quite a while here that Tromp is a secret Dem agent having great fun destroying the GOP establishment. Maybe a bet with the Clintons, maybe Gates -- ¿quien sabe?

Maybe Tromp will do a post-election tell-all, The Art Of The Clusterfuck or something. Hey, that would be FUN! After Pres Sanders' rad-lib nominees to SCOTUS are confirmed by a bulletproof-majority Senate and the Dem-led House dismantles much of the disenfranchisement infrastructure, Tromp publishes his exposé of exactly how he tricked the GOP into devouring themselves. Hilarity ensues, and a few suicides. Fun fun fun.
