Trump

The part in bold reflects your warped values. Corporate shills are bad, but bigots are evil.

That may be true but we've got all kinda of anti bigot this and anti bigot that and god damn if you so much as look at it sideways.

Shit you don't even have to be racist, if a known racist says they like you, we in America will label the non bigoted person a bigot just because a known bigot said hi to them. We even have a huge number of white people hating themselves for being white!!! Making minorities get ID's like the white males = RACISM!

Bigots...as shitty as they are aren't the problem in our government, they aren't then one hosing us for billions and trillions in the form of 500 dollar aspirins and 20,000 dollar toilet seats for the Navy.

Corporate puppets are.

GREENVILLE, S.C. --
A tow truck driver refused to a help a customer stranded on Interstate 26 in Asheville on Monday.

"Something came over me, I think the Lord came to me, and he just said get in the truck and leave," said Ken Shupe of Shupee Max Towing in Traveler's Rest, S.C. "And when I got in my truck, you know, I was so proud, because I felt like I finally drew a line in the sand and stood up for what I believed."

McWade, 25, has psoriatic arthritis, fibromyalgia, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and early-stage Crohns, which she said made sitting on the side of the road without a restroom nearby was "terrifying." She is legally disabled and says the handicapped placard was hanging on her mirror when Shupe arrived.

She also says the family mechanic informed Shupe that she was disabled.

"He goes around back and comes back and says 'I can't tow you.' My first instinct was there must be something wrong with the car," McWade told WLOS on Wednesday. "And he says, 'No, you're a Bernie supporter.' And I was like wait, really? And he says, 'Yes ma'am,' and just walks away."

McWade has a Bernie Sanders bumper sticker on her rear fender and a yard sign in her rear window for Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Shupe, who supports presumptive Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, said his decision on the side of the interstate this week was more about business than politics.
Maybe Donald will be paying his legal fees.

It's SC, how much you want to bet he owns that truck and reserves the right to tell anyone he wants to fuck off?:D

I'll bet she called AAA and now he's out of a franchise. That's what I'd bet.

You just can't help but go negative on everything, can you?

 I watched the video on the link, his truck/company and I seriously doubt shitting on a Sanders supporter gets him a rash of shit in SC. If anything a couple million rednecks just put his company in their phones just watching the news report.

You just can't help but go negative on everything, can you?

What's negative about what I'm saying?

You guys act like this guy did this in uber liburhul San Francisco. Where if he had I'd say you were right, he probably wouldn't be in business for very long after that report hit.

But he's not, hes in ultra conservative/racist/bible thumping/bigoted SC....

And shitting on one of the 48 total Sanders supporters and offending all 200 democrats statewide simply is not going to fuck him or his company up. If anything a million rednecks just saved his company to their phones and this news report will be the most valuable exposure he'll ever get. 30 seconds on the news for shitting on a socialist will put a wad in his pocket not bankrupt him. Check the video he's fucking ecstatic about it.

It's called knowing your customer base.;)

Hobby Lobby....paid....Chick-A-Filet....PAID.

Shumer Towing? PAID!!:D

AAA isn't just a South Carolina business. Maybe she called someone local, but if I were to bet--which was what was called for--I'd bet she called AAA. We can always wait to see if how it spins out is reported.

South Carolina also isn't completely how you characterize it in your purely negative response. The way they--including the governor--embraced the black Baptist church that was shot up in Charleston recently was a model for the rest of the country.

Also, the way that Nikki Haley signaled that she would veto a NC style bathroom bill didn't hurt. She's no progressive, but she's clearly not one of the worst, either.

Nathan Deal in Georgia, too. Two Republicans who, whatever their other, more reactionary views, at least have a modicum of common sense and decency to them. (His most recent veto of the college gun bill was another case of common sense.....I'm very pro-gun, but even I don't support that kind of "open carry" BS that is going around lately.)

I never said it was.

Sure if you want to keep track of it, I don't really care that much.

All I'm saying is that if recent history is any indicator this guy just got his towing company set and became a local hero among the VAST majority of his potential customers, because South Carolina.

Shit if I were a business owner in arguably one of the most hyper conservative bible belt states I don't think I could get better press than shitting on a socialist because GAWD told me to. It's the ultimate lotto ticket in local advertising.....it's like a new age wicca shop owner saving a transgender sea lion pup in California after it's poor mother was brutally murdered by a Trump supporting great white shark and getting on the news for it. The place is going to be booming for months off of it.

No, what you said was that nothing would happen because everyone in South Carolina is a racist reactionary. "It's SC."

The usual sweeping generalization negative crap from you.

You're entitled to your opinion, but what you read into is not even fucking close to what I wrote.

Trying to ascribe me negativity again? Why? There is nothing negative about what I'm saying, the guy made the right asshat move at the right time in the right state and he's going to get paid for it.

If anything you're the negative one, thinking this guy is going to get put out of business.

He's doing GAWDZ! work in the heart of Dixie teachin' them filthy commies a thing er tew about how we do things in the south!! That thayer is a M'urican HERO boy! :D

Have you never been to SC? Granted it's been several years for me but last time I was there I saw more Churches than fast food joints and gas stations combined and being a Socialist out in the open was a high risk activity.

Did I miss the memo on SC doing a 180 and becoming a bastion of socialism in the south??

Nope, I'm not negative about everything. And I don't drop in to backbite you like you just did to me. :D

Really?

Can we get a vote on that folks?

I actually like you, for the most part, though I despair over your contrarian persona at times. I suppose though it is the fact that we correspond over this narrow channel of text and I can not hear the laughter in you 'voice', maybe?

Luke 10:25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”

27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind’; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

28 “You have answered correctly,” Jesus replied. “Do this and you will live.”

29 But he wanted to justify himself, so he asked Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

30 In reply Jesus said: “A man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho, when he was attacked by robbers. They stripped him of his clothes, beat him and went away, leaving him half dead. 31 A priest happened to be going down the same road, and when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side. 32 So too, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the other side. 33 But a Samaritan, as he traveled, came where the man was; and when he saw him, he took pity on him. 34 He went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine. Then he put the man on his own donkey, brought him to an inn and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii and gave them to the innkeeper. ‘Look after him,’ he said, ‘and when I return, I will reimburse you for any extra expense you may have.’

36 “Which of these three do you think was a neighbor to the man who fell into the hands of robbers?”

37 The expert in the law replied, “The one who had mercy on him.”

Jesus told him, “Go and do likewise.”

I guess the tow guy must have been listening to some other god.

They might have been hungover during that sermon.

Now Romney wants to get an independent candidate to run.............Romney, you had your shot, now just fade to black already!!

Is it possible?

If Romney and Bernie run as third and fourth party candidates it could possibly steal enough votes from Clinton and strip away the 'reasonable' votes from Trump.

Given that we are a nation who re-elected George W. Bush, there still might be enough stupid voters to elect Trump.

One true fact, Every country gets the government that it deserves.

Steal enough votes from Clinton to do what? This isn't a "whoever wins over half the votes wins" election. It's a "most votes" won gets all the electoral votes of each state. This year, as splintered as it is, isn't adding up to a third or fourth party candidate who hasn't even started registering in states yet to be winning any state's electoral votes.

This is a case where precision matters and what you said is technically correct but misses an outside possibility. A third or fourth party that actually wins states. The presidency contrary to popular belief is not whoever wins the most votes. It's whomever has a majority of the electoral college. If for the sake of argument Democrats win all the states they've won since '92 and Republicans do the same and somehow the third and fourth party split up the swing states then nobody wins.
