As far as being sensitive? Well, let give you a little description. Every guy is different, I know, but typically when you give a man a blow job once he has already had sex that evening, you could be blowing him quite a while, right? Sorry, I just posted a long rant about this elsewhere......the ONLY reason for the cultural & religious ideas behind circumsiscion is to decrease male sexual pleasure, specifically to try & stave off the self-pollution of masturbation. It's a sadly barbaric process and thankfully dying out in this country. More & more boys under 12 years of age in the US aren't cut, and I think you will reap a lot more anger & resentment from your boys over not looking like their friends & the other kids in the locker room than over not looking liek their daddy, especially once they learn why it was done & realize how they've been physically shortchanged. The easy answer to why they don't look like daddy is simply "Well, people used to be misinformed about this and we know better now. We wanted you to be able to make your own choice about it instead or forcing something on you."

My son is uncut. When he inquired why this is so (in comparison to guys he saw at the family nudist places we venture to as well as his dad), I explained these realities:

1.) Does it hurt when you get your foreskin caught in your zipper? (I got a very loud YESSSSSS!) In the newborn, the baby is taped down to a Y shaped board and a device is shoved into the closed top of the penis (the foreskin typically is closed except for the tip and does not loosen until the ages range of 4-8). Of course, this shoving is like someone shoving a Nyquil cup up under your own penis. (My son was around 7 or 8.) Then they slice off what is covering the cup with a super sharp knife. While the baby gets to enjoy every moment of it and later soak it in salty urine over and over in his diaper to enjoy even more. AND parents PAY MONEY for this. (One of the biggest theories as to the popularity of circumcision in the US is that it was a billable procedure for doctors. Easy money. Low risk for the doctor. People are gullable and were once willing to do anything a doctor told them to do.)

2.) How would your penis-head feel if it was rubbed all day against your undies or jeans or whatever?


Most doctors and other health care professionals in the US have no experience or knowledge in caring for a normal foreskin. The popular method of "care" is to chop it off. This would be like chopping off an earlobe once it becomes infected. Or chopping off a little toe once it is broken or the nail becomes painfully ingrown. It is silly. And so many people are stupid enough to fall for it. (OF course, not having to watch the baby being tortured is a good thing for most of these insensitive parents. No real guilt then. It just seems to magically happen and the baby is sleeping his pain away.)

My sister was told by her gyn that the women with the most vagin infections were married to uncircumcised men. Of course, I have personally never seen a form in a doctor's office asking me if I fuck a man who is uncut nor have I ever been asked. I believe that this doctor either made that up or "heard it somewhere" (I wonder if he heard about the kidney-stealing ring too.)

My own experience is that my lovers who were uncut were more sensitive. My experiences with yeast infections or STD's have been apparently unrelated to foreskin. I have had lovers in both categories. I prefer a man who is intact the way God made him. (For people who claim to be Christians and use that as a reason, they are very obviously not Christians and they are definately liars. This is discussed several times in the New Testament. I cannot speak for other religions.)

In the US, 8 (Yes that is EIGHT.) babies die on average each year from circumcision. How many die from the controversial Hep vaccine? (This statistic is, of course, only mentioning death and not disfigurement/deformity.)

My last comment for those here to ponder is the difference in the way it is done to an infant versus the way it is done to an adult or even a boy who is able to communicate effectivele (ie-a 5 year old). Tape is not the key here. Anesthesia and a hospital stay is. That in itself should be the most obvious thing for parents to consider what they are doing to their children.

I believe you're right, James.

His father and I were told all the things I've been reading about here on this subject...his dad is cut, and he wanted him to look the same. The doctor told us stories of what could happen if he was NOT circumsized. He said it would be a good way to avoid infection...etc...etc...and on and on.

So, I let them do it. Everyone seemed so gung-ho about it, and the doctor so confident. I guess it was a classic case of a young woman not thinking clearly OR for herself, apparently. I accepted what my trusted doctor told me. And now, just over the last few weeks, I'm realizing with more and more clarity that no matter WHAT the reasons were, I should have allowed my son to make the decision when he was of age to do so.

Infections can be handled...good hygiene is NOT difficult to teach. Looking the same as everyone else might be more acceptable among peers, but that should be his choice, not mine!

So...I regret having it done. And YES...if I have another son, which I do hope to one day he WILL be left with the choice.

My (true) story

I am currently one of those males who are uncut, aunatural.

Way back when(I was around 15 or so) I had not ever pulled my skin back to clean it, because I didn't know much about it. After reading a couple of learning and developing pamphlets and books, I decided to finally give it a shot.
