In another thread there was talk about women and the setting the bar high for men to "attain" them or however you want to phrase it.

My unpopular opinion is that women shouldn't "raise" the bar.

I'm not saying there shouldnt be a bar, but by setting the bar high, makes me think "what are you going to do after you two have wed?" Each day thereafter will be trying to set the bar higher and higher for him to keep you, resulting in a ceiling limit that becomes inhumanly unattainable.

Otherwise, after attaining her and then not striving to reach a higher bar everyday thereafter, she will feel that he takes her for granted which ends in the same result as if there wasnt a bar to begin with.

Here's a better idea:
She should have some concept of a bar, not too high and very attainable. I mean we are talking about love (in it's purest sense at least) and not the fucking lottery. Women that look at themselves as a glorious prize to be won tend to make me think they are too egotistical.

I'm an easy going person, after all, and dont believe that love should be jam-packed full of stress. It's supposed to relieve stress, isn't it? I also tend to believe in love at first sight, so there you go.

I enjoy thinking about how much emotional carnage there's going to be on Valentine's day. I think people try too hard today. Some women expect too much, some men do too much. Remember. If it's love, you have nothing to prove. And you're not proving shit with chocolates and roses anyway.
