Keep on truckin'

Glad to see people caring about their health. After an all too short summer I'm making time to walk again. 2 - 3 miles a day, five days a week. With the Holidays coming up,( and all the great food) I'll try to stay on course with my exercise. Enjoy your walks.

Thanks! I figure I have lost twelve to fifteen lbs walking since early summer. Can fit in favorite dress pants again. :nana:

I walked 3.5 kms this evening. Here, it's been extra muggy lately, so even when the sun isn't out, I break out in a good sweat. All good for detoxing, I say!

I'm working up to a 10km event. Got a bit of legwork to do!

I have a pedometer that counts how many steps I've taken. With my penchant for numbers, I am motivated to take more steps even just walking around the apartment or going down to the mailbox. Today, I walked over 7,000 steps. Someone told me 10,000 steps/day is a good number to aim for.

Looks like tonight will be the chilliest yet. Supposed to be below forty and thats is what it is now. Still chipping away at Mr. Belly. Haven't missed any days for about two weeks now.
 
Hmmm...

On that note...today, I was late for an appointment because I did 5.4km on the treadmill. It was my priority and I stuck to it! I'm still glowing from the exertion. I walk for an hour but am trying to increase my walking speed. I know I'll top out at about 5.5km but that's okay.

good job mia. keep up the good work. wally....why are you tired of dreams? don't ever give up on your dreams.
 
Its is time to bundle up again and hit the pavement. Anyone want to hold my hand and keep it warm? ;)
