My most controversial opinion is that adult consensual incest should be legal. I have no personal stake in this. It's a logical extension of the growing sexual freedom among consenting adults. The genetic risk varies considerably from couple to couple, and admittedly can be quite large. But that can happen with unrelated people,too. Imagine a white couple who are both carriers of cystic fibrosis, or a black couple who are both carriers of sickle cell. Yet the law doesn't try to prevent these.

Schools should require classes in basic life skills before graduation. How to balance a budget, cooking from scratch, basic home and auto repairs, ect.

Doesn't sound controversial to me.
