I did my Spotify Wrapped last week and I wasn't surprised.
My top band was Bright Eyes, second was Pearl Jam. Followed by Tool, Brand New, and Cake.
I was surprised by the last two, I feel like I listen to more SOAD and Steely Dan.

But anyway, yes I guess I'm listening to a lot of Bright Eyes and Pearl Jam.

My Spotify wrapped surprised me a bit. had SOAD on mine! ... Also The Sword, Jedi Mind Trick, Taylor Swift, and Nora En Pure.
Spotify just stopping short of saying they think I'm a hot mess.

Stupid band name, brilliant music. Drwam Theater and Solitude Aeturnus had messy sex in the rehearsal space and this is the result. Epic, heavy, with some intricate tempo and time shifts. Special mention to the vocalist who channels all the ear-piercing high notes bands like Hades and Watchtower were (in)famous for.

Lit roundabout got me to finally true deep dive the Mitski in my collection and I've not been the same since. Immeasurable talent (tho I'm sadly not connecting with Makeout Creek like I'd hope... hmm.)

Japanese Breakfast is similar though widely divergent enough I don't recommend 1:1 (plus, the stereotyping issues)

Mitski's music map kinda tells her tale. She stands very much alone.
