What Are You Listening to Now 7.0

Thanks for that, HP. I may have heard Eroica a thousand times, but I couldn't imagine what it might have been like to hear the first performance. I understand that the tumult over the horn's early entrance in the first movement actually did happen. I wonder if the comments attributed to Hayden were real.

I loved the little quip where Beethoven called Ries an idiot, and Hayden said that was traditional. Beethoven moved to Vienna to study under Mozart, but Mozart died while he was traveling, so he was briefly Hayden's student.

It was, apparently, a bit of a shock to music.

Nice!

Hey! I did listen to the rest of your music. Wonderful stuff all. You definitely had a Tangerine Dream vibe going on. Thanks for sharing.

You both (and kitties) stay safe and well! Rick on, my friend!

Modern Emotions

melodic prog metal from the Netherlands on this rainy (in my neck of the woods) day.

Peace, love and happiness all

DT's music is (mostly) good, but their lyrics suck. Way too 'thumperish', preachy, whatever you want to call 'god' shit.

You must love Neal Morse.

I agree that I focus a lot more on the music as I'm not really a Labrie fan. I especially am not as big a fan since the Portnoy/Mangini switch.

If you like the music style check out Teramaze, or even better yet Argentina's Bastien Pers.

Take care JaF0, happy music listening

Blink and You Miss It

Timo Kamarainen

really nice classical/acoustic guitarist from Finland. Very multi -genre;
I hear bluegrass, classical, jazz, New age, country and more all well produced and played exceptionally well.

Driftwood

Deafening Opera

trying something new and so far so very good. Described as instrumental acoustic prog influenced by jazz and folk by a quintet from Germany.

Update halfway through: really, really good but not instrumental nor acoustic. Not feeling the folk either it's more cool jazz with a serious prog twist. Great production and good musicianship.
