John Williams is the musical genius of our generation, our Beethoven. Like Uncle Ludwig
, you can usually recognize his style in the first two or three bars (if not notes!), but Williams really branched out beyond his Raiders/Star Wars genre. The garment-rending themes from Schindler's List are part of what inspired my current sig line.

Thanks. It's an interesting album - if you get the "deluxe version".
It has 8 tracks - then it has all 8 tracks again, but all-instrumental. I'm planning to re-spin it, but to sequence each vocal track to be followed by the instrumental track.

I love when bands release instrumental versions - even when I love the vocalists both versions always get equal spins for me.

I remember when this first came out. I bought it unheard the week it came out because it had such a cool cover. When I first played it I was totally blown away - such powerful vocals, amazing tight guitar and keyboards often rapid firing off of each other and such a solid rhythm section. Been a lifelong Saga fan every since.
