What Are You Nosey About Today?? 🦝

I have 8, and with 4 of them I've never even interacted.
I ignore people in RL. Lit is no different in that.

If other women on Lit have learned not to pm men.

I never do that. I've done it only once since I've been here. I admit, I used PLP's challenge thread as an excuse to contact him, because I liked reading him and he intrigued me. But other than that, I've never done it.

I rarely even send a PM, first, to someone that I have talked many times. That's a limit of mine, I know, because I take it to an extreme, I think. The thing is that I'm very sensitive to the fact of not bothering people. But above all, I hate to give the impression that I am chasing them and/or I'm desperate, when I am not. I shudder when I think they might get that impression.

I have three on ignore: one's a creep, one's a spammer and the last is someone who's totally annoying and I have no need to ever see his posts again.

I would hope only with permission 😳😬

If someone sends you a selfie, it's a gift right? You make it seem creepy to save it. Are you saying, it's not right to do? Is this the same for a face shot or a vacation picture as it is for a more explicit one?

What's the consensus here on this?

I personally have asked permission. But if I send a picture to someone there is an implicit permission, IMO. Hell, when I post a pic on the threads I take for granted that someone could/will save it. Once is out there in the public you've lost "control" over it.

This. If someone sends me a picture, I assume it was meant for me. If we are friends (or becoming friends) I love it when my friends share parts of their life with me.

If I didn't want the person to have it, I wouldn't send it.

I think the difference in what AGG meant was pictures sent to you vs pictures people post, and someone saves???

It’s creepy to save it without permission for some people. I tend to delete photos of myself from Skype rather quickly so they can’t be saved.
